If you don't like or want give your KYC details, just don't play in roobet. If you feel you can trust them with your KYC, go for it.
At first, im also hesitant to comply with their kyc verification but I changed my mind and fill the needed information.

There are many gambling sites that dont require kyc, so yes if you dont feel to disclose your personal information then you can choose other casinos to satisfy yourself by playing their games.
Crypto casinos are now free to choose a gambling site platform if someone doubts their identity they don't want to be in the public there are still many gambling sites that still provide anonymous even longer until now there is no change, but it's different from roobet but I like the game here I don't even doubt anything what roobet is asking for for something, if a gambling site is big and has a large community why not trust it?

But I'm sure the ones in this thread poster they have done KYC on roobet because they believe how roobet maintains identity well and nothing will ever happen.

By the way, I was surprised to see that there are some casinos that provide free withdrawals, meaning there are no transaction fees at all. I wonder how they manage this.
They probably have such an extensive user base of players who have been with them for years that they can afford to pay the transaction fees instead of their customers because they are earning so much already. It's a gamble, but one they are willing to take. If one day they noticed a huge outflow of players and gaming activity on their sites, I am sure they would introduce withdrawal fees as well. It wouldn't be good for business continuing with their practices and generating losses.
Yes exactly they are into business and making profits and whenever they will see downfall in customer or player base they will surely implement changes in their withdrawal or deposit policies. The game is all about making money and they earn it from users.

probably others with the $6-10 range is quite small for them. But this is my opinion different from your opinion and we have different opinions.
Nevertheless, fees do not matter to me as long I can play anonymously, but if not, I don't care if you have a free withdrawal fee, a lot of bonuses, sorry.
Also, you aren't playing anonymously on Roobet. Did you completely forget about their recent mandatory KYC changes? Check some of the posts above.
^ I never say I had an account on Roobet and play with them. In fact, after implementing KYC I stopped using this even joining their contest because it is useless if I won but I can't be able to withdraw my fund there because I don't want to submit my KYC. That is why I said, fees do not matter to me because I after the legitimacy and can also able to gamble anonymously.
We had a different opinion on this as I said if you don't want this small fee of $6-10, then leave the site and find where you are comfortable. But for me, that is reasonable fees and we understand that this is a gambling business, they also need to earn from this for their revenue besides, how many times do you withdraw on the site? Everyday?

Even you will sue the ETH, BTC, or LTC, the withdrawal fee was still the same, it is I think ranging from 6-8$ while BTC is on $10 which is still good enough.
How is $6 - $10 good enough? It is unacceptable in my opinion. Some crypto gambling sites charge zero withdrawal fees while some others provide various options(Slow, Fast etc) to bring the fees below $5. Roobet needs to improve in this aspect.
^ You have a point that they need to change this aspect, as I said good enough because there is no minimum withdrawal upon withdrawal your balance not like other services that have a minimum withdrawal high than Roobet withdrawal fee. However, gamblers do have not the same opinion on this, and probably others with the $6-10 range is quite small for them. But this is my opinion different from your opinion and we have different opinions.

These fees are too high. Actually, every fee of a payout is already too high. Why can't sites just cover these fees? Even the blockchain fee could simply be easily paid by the gambling sites.
Small amount, they can easily miss this from their budget.
Lol why does the Site will cover the Withdrawal fees when it is not their own gain ? and besides it is every players obligation to pay for this so best not to expect it  happening .

Play with your own discretion and obligation , but i bet you You will hardly find a most legit crypto casino all over the place.

but what i can commend is at least let players choose the amount of withdrawal fees depend on how fast they wanna make this.

@Pmalek recently posted this great topic: (Table) Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos

According to this, Roobet's withdrawal fees aren't as bad compared to some other popular casinos, and they're nowhere near as high as at, for example, Wolf.bet, Cloudbet or Betcoin. Although, I agree that they could be lower, especially now that we have fairly low transaction fees and low congestion on the Bitcoin network.

You and the people who feel that $6 - $10 fees are low are part of the minority since the majority clearly feel that they are high. Sites like Bitcasino literally charge zero withdrawal fees. Roobet is definitely lagging behind in this aspect.

I agree. However, I don't mind them charging fees as long as it's optimal in my opinion. Current fees are definitely far from optimal.

Is it just me, or does Roobet no longer require users to fill out mandatory KYC?

I never filled in my personal data and I stopped using the site many months ago. Today, I returned to the site, but I don't see a KYC pop-up as before.
Has there been any official communication about this?

But don't be happy just yet  Cheesy if you want to make sure you should contact support regarding this of course to avoid problems if you make a withdrawal
I saw some kind of trap on another site when deposit and play no problem but when you request a withdrawal then you have to do KYC  Cheesy
hahaha i can feel you mate here  Grin i won't mention the site but indeed that when depositing and continuously playing.
i found no issue as the deposit arrived faster using altcoins but when i hit a win more than the amount i did deposits? and tries withdrawal, there the KYC thing comes and requires me even to have a Video call just to prove my details.

Though i doubt that Roobet has this same attitude but yeah best to contact the support first so the problem wont persist in time.

There is mandatory KYC on the Roobet site as before, and it looks like Roobet doesn't allow to make any withdrawal of funds until KYC is approved. At least this is written in their KYC-AML policy. I guess Marvelman just needs to clear cache for the roobet site in his browser.
yups , same happens to my cousin recently when he ask me  about which gambling site is legit and i told him roobet.com is one good casino that i use to play, and when he created an account he was required KYC, maybe you are correct that it is the cache that needs to be cleared and then try back again.

Whales might not mind these fees, but they are part of the minority. The majority of gamblers are small-scale gamblers who have issues with high withdrawal fees.
Most of the casino withdrawal fees are feasible and only betcoin and bitsler have high fees of $8 and $15 but Roobet fees also is high and problem for small gamblers indeed but we can't do anything serious about it until the Roobet team decides to make some changes for players.Using LTC is most preferred among small gamblers due to high fees of eth and btc which are very high during network congestion time period.

Not only Roobet but also most of the reputable casinos will ask you to verify your identity if you want to withdraw/deposit a Very Big amount.
You have to know the actual concept first. Asking KYC before withdrawal/deposit a big amount is not a bad behavior, it is a good practice to protect your funds from suspicious activity. It is not a time-consuming process, they released every case within a short time period.
Sometimes Malta Gaming Authority & UKGC asked KYC to the casino, if their customers withdraw a big amount of funds. (some casinos are regulated by MGA & UKGC).

More developments and bigger adoption will come. I would be wrong but I did not know any reported hack on Lightning network. Do you know any LN hack?
Till now not, maybe hackers are not getting a chance cause LN is not popular, and very few people are using it when most of them are testers. Ordinary people are not using it most often.
Yes, Big development may happen. But I've doubt how miners will react about that.

As of now, it is best to avoid using Roobet's withdrawal feature until charges are taken into consideration.
maybe next time, they have to add an option to withdrawing LTC while depositing BTC or eth.

Lightning Network is the better option, you pay less than a penny to transfer sats immediately
Yes, but the website must keep the channel online. this means they have to add the team which watching 24/7 for that only option.

LTC should be more affordable with the fees so I think this is a problem with Roobet, they add the option for LTC to give more options and of course to have a lesser fees so I don’t know why it is still ranging from $6 -$7, the LTC network are way more cheaper compare to ETH and BTC. Withdrawal fees should not be fixed like that, especially with LTC.
that range ($6-$7) for btc and eth only. as I explorer there are look 0 fee for ltc. because the price (btc and eth) are going to high with following USD rate.

maybe you were blocked pop-up or something change on your browser. I am really sure KYC Level 1 is still mandatory because when I read the AML policy didn't change until 23 July 2021.

I think the mandatory KYC only applies to new users but there are different levels to what personal info they require though.

In my case I was only required to do a level 1 KYC they only required your full name, address, birthdate and mobile number.

Also congrats to Roobet on launching their sportsbook. I saw the announcement from the telegram channel.  Cheesy
