So sum things up.
1. We hosted a giveaway on our Discord and you won it fair and square.
2. Our employee who runs giveaways thought a rule about new accounts should be added because we had a lot of multi accounts being created for multiple entries.
3. There was a dispute about whether or not the rule was made before or after your win.
4. We did not handle this well. It did not get to the right people in time and we sincerely apologise. We have paid you $200 for the giveaway.
We are not scammers, we've been around for more than a year now with hundreds of giveaways, tens of thousands of dollars given to our players.
Again, on behalf of Roobet I'm sorry for how this was dealt with, you should have just gotten your money right then and there. While we're not brand new, we're still working on our inner-team communication as we grow.
Quote this for reference.
I would like to hear from dkbit98 about this payment.
Also, there
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53388976 is no movement here and it seems not to be moving and solving that.
Why do you need to receive five red trusts to take the whole situation seriously?
We've already spoken about that issue to the person it concerns numerous times.
We had a max profit set to $2,000. We allowed people to bet what they'd like even if the win exceeded max profit (you'd just get paid max profit). This is similar to what a lot of casinos do, brick and mortar and online. This was well known in our casino by most of our High Rollers, who all had no issue with this.
We were in the process of changing this so that you could no longer bet that high, and this user "misclicked" and won 36x on a large bet, he got paid $2,000.
If we had the rule already in place, he wouldn't have been $2,000 richer than he had been that day from a missclick.
I have already said my opinion on the whole thing. Bug on your platform is your fault. Misclick is no excuse, if he lost because of a misclick, you will take all of his money from overbet.
Also, "We allowed people to bet what they'd like" is pure nonsense. You will allow $2000 on a bet with 36x multiplayer, so the user can only to lose money. I would like to meet a person who likes to risk $2000 without possibility to win anything.
as far as I know yahoo62278, he probably wouldn’t insist to pay them immediately if it may affect your further solvency. I'm pretty sure he'd be open to a deal and not make you bankrupt. to all this a very bad reaction by your side blocking them on your chat and ignoring the complete situation.
It is similar to your misunderstanding with dkbit98, it is your fault, you were not clear with the rules I suppose it's because of the lack of guidance leading giveaways. It is normal, people make mistakes, but the bigger mistake is when you don't accept your own mistakes. I'm thinking if you would admit it that dkbit98 did not post this case here.
