Is there any thread besides this one?  Roll Eyes I'm glad if someone would add me on the list  Grin

Yes -> Bitcointalk Ranking-up pipeline- Those close to their next rank (lacking Merits)
Since you do not meet the requirements, you will not be listed on the list. Only when you are in the 20%-missing-group will you be listed.

I usually write in Turkish Local board but I need only 1 merit to be member. Can anyone help me? At least can you add my name the table?

Oh, I've seen that thread before, but didn't knew they keep track on the close-to-rank-up users. Thanks Smiley

Just a suggestion but, can you archive those that have ranked up and have in the OP only the active ones ? If it's not too much work for you, of course.
Most of the profiles had surpassed the required merit and are no longer needed in the OP.

See you in your next rank update "Sr.member" to "Hero member". Anyway congratulations on your new rank and you truly deserved mate Smiley
Thanks a lot for the kind words! Smiley
Like I said earlier, I don't know why but once I was lacking merit to rank up, I saw it like a challenge and put in more time into my posts. Looks like it paid off.

You're a good example for demoted newbies. When you put extra effort before starting a thread merits will come eventually and no need for begging or complaining.
Yes, I think the best thing anyone who wants to rank-up should follow is to never give up and be involved in everything.

Just to note here, that this is a list of people who need 1-5 merit to rank up / depending on the rank of course [...]
Thanks for the encouragement but from the looks of it, it's going to take some time for me to gather the extra 80 or so, merits...
I have been trying to make my posts more visible these days, let's see how this works out.

Don't know why, but since I gained the necessary activity, I'm seeing getting the required merit as a challenge.  Smiley
OP, how about now? Smiley Can I get added to your main post?

Seems like I was a bit skeptical on getting ~80 merits two weeks ago but it seems I managed to round em' up  Cheesy

Alone055 is now a Full Member. There is increase in current Merits of BTCHadzija and kaisa.

I think it is better if you remove the Members from the list after they reach that rank, instead of updating "Now ------ Member". It will cause list to be short and to the point.

Until the last merit decision, I started to learn something in the forum. Obviously I felt sorry for my late start. After this last decision, of course, my enthusiasm was broken. I spend time in the forum again, but I can't adapt as much as before. Merit is not very easy to win, unfortunately.

You already posted the same post in the Turkish board with your Türkçe language after 2 minutes you have posted in this thread. The thing I didn't get is why you used the google translator to translate the English content into Turkish. I assume you're a Turkic.

If you are here to learn, you are not holding back by anyone even the new merit requirement. Speaking about learning we all are not too late to learn. We all are learning from womb-to-tomb. Merit is not something you win, but the appreciation that you get from others for the contribution you have made. It doesn't need to be a marvellous one, but posting quality stuff will eventually gain merits.

I just realized I'm only 1.9% away from having earned enough Merit to be Legendary on my own Cheesy
(no, I don't need to be on the list, it just felt like something worth mentioning without being worth a new topic)
It's a tad bit off-topic here, but 2000 merits is nothing to sneeze at.  This is why Theymos ought to create ranks higher than Legendary--or at least do something to commemorate X number of merits or X number of activity.

I used to think it was going to be a major problem when the influx of newbies started to rank up based solely on activity.  That would have allowed anyone to reach Legendary rank simply by meeting an activity quota.  Now, however, the chances of the average newbie ever reaching even Hero status seem infinitesimal.

On-topic:  I'll take a look through the list of members who are close to ranking up.  I'm glad such a list exists, because just randomly going through threads and members' post history is a huge waste of time.
