maybe what Russia is doing will have a big impact on bitcoin. but I always believe and believe, bitcoin will still be able to survive and return to have value and maybe its value will be more up than at this time.

Reading the article in the link you provided, there's no surprise to hear such statements from a central bank deputy governor. Maybe, bitcoin poses a threat to their system and they would want to prevent that before people starts supporting bitcoin in a larger scale. It's just sad how major companies also have the autonomy and capacity to ban bitcoin platforms and exchanges. Let's just wait how everything turns out since it is in contradiction with the stand of the country's finance minister. Would the country follow Japan's footsteps for bitcoin future? We never know.

will this have a major impact on the current bitcoin price? or is it only a small impact?

i don't think so my opiniion i see in my eyes the bitcoin price so far goes rising russian government banning the bitcoin for sure want regulate the bitcoin but i believe bitcoin as decentralized currency no one can control for bitcoin as currency.
bitcoin can not be controlled by any country but every country if prohibiting the existence of bitcoin will also affect the price even though the bitcoin price will come back again

Based on my research and i see in facebook information that russia is not banning the bitcoin? So we dont need to panic if china banned the bitcoin and also russia? I know that bitcoin is strong and i believe to bitcoin , becuase many people investing here so keep earning.  Cheesy

I just wonder why bitcoin is banned in China and now to Russia? we know how bitcoin can help us and especially the country's economy so why do they do it. ? Huh
both countries have the same type of governance, they wanted to have such control in any people inside their jurisdiction they felt that crypto can
harmed their economy which they dont have any rules yet placing taxes from this type of investment so i think they do wanted to have much control
and earn as well from this system.

Russia, China, South Korea or any country can do what they really want to do. And then who cares?, bitcoin as I have look at it is nearing 4900$ again. So the community has no sense of panic and even slight on giving this attention to this kind of news.

At the same time, government is not part of bitcoin world as of now. So those pronouncements and FUD’s won’t work anymore even it what country a first, second, third world country this belongs.

Bitcoin is decentralized. Period.

Bitcoin already tried China ban recently in previous weeks and not succeeded so Russia ban will do nothing to bitcoin markets now prices speaks loudly before coming fork.
Bitcoin has becoming more resistance again government regulation, the whole cryptocurrency world is changing, and this ban, I must say, will not going to affect the price that much. maybe few people will get panic but not for the majority. Russia itself, with their nonsense action, just trying to make their citizens get away from bitcoin, buy hey, there's so many place out there other than russia that's worth for living.

It is as expected. Based on the article, it was initiated by the Central bank.and you know, business is business. They want to protect the legacy of bank's business. Bitcoin's popularity has become a global trend. and Many investors are allocating now their investments into Cryptocurrency.

Maybe this is legit or not. Or some FUD to affect the BTC value. However, i belive this will not affect the Bitcoins stability on a large scale.

i don't think that russia really wants to ban bitcoin because with so many ico is release and i see most of the ico are from rusia, maybe it will makes the dev from russia will send a letter to their government and they need to be explained about what is going on. i think there will be more bad news is out after bitcoin reach the highest price because they want to buy bitcoin too like other people so they will use every way that they can to block bitcoin to not high.
