I picked up a Sapphire 570 Pulse Mini Itx model recently to try out Eth and dual mining, after watching a few videos and reading up I am managing 28.3mh/s Eth  and 679mh/s Decr steady on the card, My GPU only power draw according to GPU-Z fluctuates between 125 -134w. I am not sure if this is good/bad/ or about average. I would like to know if it is possible to squeeze more out of the card, but to do that I think it would require custom memory straps/timings am I correct in assuming this.

Just with softwares, i'm gonna try to get a wattmetter to see if its really true, i'm not believing either

Not true, in HWInfo program it reports for me 32W, but in reality its more like 90W (thats in reality 72W for
the card itself, and 18W lost in power supply if you have 80% efficient power supply)

Hi guys, im reporting a little late, but i've been arround since the start of the thread(just created acc now, sorry).
I've managed to get 13,5 mh/s with bios mod on gigabyte rx 560 oc gaming 4gb, memory is micron.

Timings 1500 -> 1500 - 2000
Underclocked to 1050 mhz, memory is at 1850 mhz (i was able to get 2000 but wasnt stable at all, gonna try 1850+ with increments of 20-25mhz to see what happens)

I use 3 cards direct to MB and 1 riser, fans are at 45% in 2 of them(riser and bottom pci-e slot) 55% in the middle one and 50% upper pci-e, temps never get above 70~72ºc even in +32ºc ambient temp.

But the most incledible thing is thats only DRAWING 27~28W PER CARD, idk how tho lol.

Calculating this, it gives me an almost equal performance of 15 mh/s drawing 50-53w.

What you guys think?

How do you measure the watt drawing ? Note that most of the softwares are not that accurate. The best would be wattmetter on the wall

I have spent 2hours yesterday with them. memory strap from 1650 to everything up, and mem speed at 1950 (2000mhz was not stable, didn't want to push more volts) i got 12, 13.4 and 13.2 from my 3 cards, with 1100 core clock.

Howdy all,

Anyone able to get their MSI RX 560 AERO ITX OC 4GB (Hynix memory, and without the 6 pin) working decent yet with a bios tweak? Saw a few posts relating to it, but the various shared bios didn't seem to do any good for me Sad

I had bought the card extra cheap for one last small bump to my already in place hobby set-up (instead of buying a card at still over-inflated prices), but it only gives "really small bump" at the moment haha.

I get about ~10.6 Mh/s stock, and about the same dual mining SIA with a -dcri 15 (above -15 is where it'll start to stray below the 10.6Mh). OC seems to do pretty much nothing to tilt the #s more favorably.

Thanks for any potential insights!

Did you tried edit BIOS yourself? For me its the best you can do, edit original bios from card. If you want to hel with it, just PM me.

hello, i have same problem, i got the MSI RX560 OC, but the dual fan, with power plug, but the hashrate is really low, like 10.4mh/s
my Strix RX460 is doing almost 12mh/s stock
maybe the memory timings are too much relaxed on the MSI. have you ried bios mod?

Hello folks,
Expanse mining. RX560 4GB Micron. As you see there, Time of work is more than 1 week without reboot.  It works very stable!

Now, price is 1 ETC.

Hey everyone I am just getting back into mining and thought I would try out Ethereum, Zcash and dual mining. I know it is a little late in the game and I missed the big rush but I am ok with that. What I was wondering is this,I ordered some Asus Republic Of Gamers Strix RX560 4GB cards for $158cdn(about $120usd) before tax each. and with all the ups and downs for GPU prices which I have not been keeping track of I was wondering is this was a decent price or did I over pay. I was also wondering  if I could expect after mods to get similar hashrates other miners are reporting with other 560 cards of 13.5-14.5 on Ethereum and if anyone has any idea what the hashrate would be for mining DCR if I were to dual mine. I have some 1060's coming in also but those were $290cdn(225usd) before taxes so nearly double the price of the 560's.

Thank mazq, but no luck

Tried every card alone - working,
change risers, slots, when  sixth (on any slot) has been removed everything is working.

Oh well ... I don't know what kind of sorcery is that

Thanks for respond

tried GEN1 / GEN2 / Auto
Tried other  and with two PSU
Rebooting on windows startup
Before driver patch there are six cards in device list.

Well, out of guess what could be done. Make some test, check if you leave that 6th card alone - meaning start the pc with only this card and see if any issues. If I were you, I would flash the cards with their original bios, make DDU and install clean driver. After the installation of the driver, sign them with the patcher and flash again with your better performing bios. Sometimes there's no exact explanation of what's going on Smiley

Yes H81 Pro R 2.0

Try this this worked for me

set VTd INTEL VIRTUALIZATION to DISABLE.
set ONBOARD AUDIO/SOUND (AZALIA) to DISABLE.
set IEEE1394 to DISABLE.
set PCI-E SUBSYSTEM/LANES to x8/x4/x4
set ONBOARD GRAPHICS to DISABLE.
set PCI-E GENERATION to GEN2.

Hi guys,

please help
Asrock h81 motherboard 6x Saphire rx560 4gb

bios mod:
1750 timings -> 1875, 2000

driver patched

5 cards working well (13,7). Plugging in sixth card windows resets on booting
Win10. Driver 17.xxx
Thanks

Make sure you change the Slots options to GEN1 in the BIOS of the MB. If you did that, probably the PSU you're using cannot feed all 6. Had similar problem and when separated 2 of the cards on dedicated (500W) PSU, everything worked fine. Try it, if you have spare PSU.

Cheers
