I agree with the technology that manual payment with banknotes is not recommended because it can carry viruses, it is better to shop online and payments are also the same online, this is a very important suggestion in the current pandemic situation.

But not all people has the access to online payments. A lot are still relying on their fiat money to go with their everyday lives. People who has debit or credit card are still small percentage as compared to global population. Many people are still not connected with banks. But I do agree, that shopping online and paying online is a better way to avoid further transfer of the virus.

I think this is the right time to adapt BTC/Cryptocurrency as an alternate mean of payment because human to human transmission of virus is very rapid. Many countries including China introduced online payments via WeChat many years ago making it very easy for people to buy products without using paper money. By introducing digital currency there will be no need of long queue and there will be no exchange of physical currencies which has proven dangerous.

Well said, this time is the good time for online transactions, we should lessen the manual transactions because we are responsible to kill the virus, we can help each and every one by just staying at home and do not make any transactions physically if it is not needed. There are already so many online transactions that we really need for our daily lives, aside from being safe because you are only at your home, you also have a good and faster transaction compared to the manual things. Maybe soon there would be an alternative online transaction for every manual thing, technology is really good at doing that thing, that is why technology is great because it makes our lives easier.

I do not think so because now we can see all around the world bitcoin is so famous that people know it and want to invest in it so its all happened because people found it safe and the name of bitcoin is appearing as best investment so I am hopeful in future almost all the countries will start using bitcoin as a payment we are just sad about those areas who are not having any Internet access so they cannot use bitcoin.

Even if all those choose to make use of bitcoin as payment, it wouldn’t make any sense because more than 90% (if not 100%) of the stores you will go to will tell you that they are not accepting Bitcoin. So, I don’t really blame these people for making use of cash as payment method. I am just talking with respect to the condition and scenario of cryptocurrency adoption level and there could be different situation on other places hence I am sorry if I sound like misleading.

The best thing will be to make your orders online and maybe make orders only for foods that can be cooked? Huh

Okay I’m saying foods you can cook because I believe that when you cook the food the heat will kill any virus in it, and it seems I have seen that somewhere online, can’t really remember.

The idea of introduction of bitcoin for the use of digital payments is long being discussed and now a lot of people are already using it but majority of the world don't think about it. I guess day to day use of crypto is still far away from today.

These past few months or weeks, I knew a lot of people who are panic selling because of financial problem during this lockdown. It is normal for them to spend it because it is their own asset and we have nothing to do with that. But for me, that's not the best option or decision if he can still have a certain budget to survive this quarantine.

If they will spend their bitcoin, they should directly spend and use it as payment method to help the promotion of bitcoin in many transactions. We all know that bitcoin is volatile, as soon as possible, never risk spending it or selling it during this quarantine because it might increase its price in the market.

We just need to be patient and aware of its price in the market. Using fiat as a payment is not a problem and it is the traditional way of payment, but we should also give importance to digital currencies like cryptocurrency to become also a payment method.

That's why adoption still uncertain as there are a lots of people around who don't know how this cryptocurrency work.
Though there are publicities and media hypes but engagement from majorities especially from business sectors still
doubting if this industry will survive.

Unfortunately, this seems to be true. It's definitely unsafe to shop physically right now, and throughout the quarantine I ordered stuff online way more often than I normally would, but none of those times were I able to pay with Bitcoin. So yeah, it's just cashless payments on the rise, but nothing for cryptos. If the trend of cashless payments persists with more and more people wishing to pay online, the traditional system might get overloaded and the market can open up for Bitcoin at least a bit. But for that we also need clear regulations so that shops can accept BTC without worrying that they might have problems with the authorities.

But still, there are those people that don't actually care, they just wanted to go outside.

It is true that being online is a huge impact in this quarantine, in this lock down but the thing is that fiat is still necessary since not all of the stores are actually accepting Bitcoin.

People are just taking advantage of being online so that they could still earn some money with them having no jobs. Right now it is getting normal slowly but online selling is still a thing and fiat are still being used. There are other ways to pay online though, not just Bitcoin.
