What do you think makes him not feel at home in the Saudi pro league? Could it be because the environment is uncomfortable or because you don't have the passion to play for Al-Shabab? However, if he wants to return to his country's club, that seems like a strong reason for him. However, he is a legend who still longs to return to his country and I think it is the right decision after much consideration.

Luckily Al-Shabab is quite open if Rakitic wants to leave and at least he doesn't leave a bad impression on the Saudi pro league which is usually only after big money. Rakitic proved money is not everything even though he did not complete his contract with Al-Shabab. With this, I hope that Al-Shabab is ready to find a replacement considering that next season is getting closer.

We don't know for sure why Rakitic chose to leave Al Shabab, even though he recently joined Al Shabab.  Rakitic only has a record of playing eight times for Al Shabab, we even forgot that Rakitic was part of Al Shabab last season. It could be that the reason is none other than because this team's performance has declined so much, we have even forgotten that there was a great midfielder who joined Al Shabab. It is possible that another very simple reason could be that Rakitic prefers to play in his own country, love for his homeland which was the trigger for him to accept an offer from Hajduk Split with a two year contract. Despite the fantastic salary he earned with Al Shabab, in the end Rakitic chose to return to his country and defend one of the teams competing in the Croatian League.

Speaking of Al Shabab, if this team does not try to match its competitors. I mean, Al Shabab must make its team much more competitive. If not, this team will definitely have difficulty getting into the top four of the Saudi Pro League.

Losing Saint Maximin will not have a big impact on Al Ahli because they also have other players who are no less good. Moreover, this player was also not very productive in scoring goals last season, he only scored 4 goals in 30 appearances, but yes, he was very helpful in providing assists. goals and helping his teammates, but no matter what, Al Ahli can't continue to depend on these players.
Saint Maximin is actually a very consistent player in every club that recruits him, but I don't know what is the reason for al ahli loaned him to other team today even though last season Saint Maximin played in all the matches played by Al ahli in the league, although he is not a sharp scorer but at least he was able to make a great contribution to every game played by Al Ahli last season, Loaning Saint Maximin is a fatal mistake for Al Ahli in my opinion, because after all Al Ahli has thrown away one of the best left wingers they have, so it will be difficult for Al Ahli to be able to compete next season in the title fight unless they can bring in another left winger who is better than him at the moment, although currently Al Ahli still has Sumayhan Alnabit and Modou Barrow as the other left wingers in the squad but the two players are not better than Saint Maximin so far.

While Maximin may not be a big loss, not replacing him would be a big loss. I agree that he wasn't some amazing player that can't be replaced, they can spend some money to get someone even better, easily, like spending 20-30 million would easily make it possible for them to get someone better.

However, if we are talking about not replacing, like if they do not get anyone, which they haven't so far, I do not think that they are going to be good at all, whoever is left there, isn't as good as Maximin. So that means they should be start looking at some transfers if they know what they are doing, it would definitely benefit everyone. I am not saying that it is going to be easy to handle it all, it is going to take some time, but we could make it work some other way if we know what we are doing.

Al Ahli should be looking at older players at Europe, or maybe some young talent from Latin America, that could be cheaper honestly and could be very beneficial for them to get. In any case, they are not good like Al Hilal or Al Nassr if you ask me, they need to spend some money to get as better as those teams, and for that they need to spend some huge bucks to get some great players for their team.

Looking at the results and performances of Al Nassr last season, it's obvious that the team wasn't lacking in the attacking line but was poor in their defense which was why they weren't able to win any title last season despite having the highest scorer in the league in the club. Al Nassr was very prolific in front of goal last season but were also conceding a lot of goals so to make the team more formidable than it was last season, the club must make significant signings in the defense line of the club. I'm yet to see any news that suggests that the club is making any strong move to get a world class defender so maybe they don't want to make their moves open until deals are finalized. I started watching Saudi Pro League games because of Cristiano Ronaldo and as such, Al Nassr became my Saudi club of interest so I'll want to see them winning all the big trophies next season.
Al Nassr have impressive performance with their attacking line last season by scoring 100 goals but very poor performed with their defense after conceding 42 goals. Actually Al Nassr's goals productivities only difference one goal with the winner team Al Hilal but they have solid defense with 23 goals conceded. Al Nassr have started to improve with their defense for next season after signing new goal keeper Bento from Brazil after difficult negotiation for signing Manchester City's goal keeper Ederson.

Seems Al Nassr won't loss oprotunity for winning domestic league next season and its Cristiano Ronaldo ambition after joining with Al Nassr last three years ago still can't win the domestic league trophy yet. Al Nassr still not stop fpr signing new player for next season ambiton become the domestic league winner, they will try to sign as several top players get bigger possibility become the winner next season.
Al Nassr must build a better squad around Ronaldo, so they can increase their chances of winning trophies next season. Al Nassr weakness last season was very clear, their defense line was very porous, in my opinion Al Nassr management needs to recruit better players by taking advantage of the transfer window which is still open. So far, after they did not renew the contract with David Ospina, Al Nassr succeeded in recruiting Bento from Athletico Paranaense as his replacement. At least Al Nassr should recruit two defenders and one top playmaker, so that they have a more even squad depth. Financially, Al Nassr will not face any problems, they are able to pay the release clause of any player. Meanwhile, Al Nassr also has to look further ahead, they can't always depend on Ronaldo alone, they have to invest in younger players too.

Ivan Rakitić, the former superstar player of Barcelona who played for Al Shabab during this season is now ready to leave Al Shabab. Ivan Rakitić could get a higher salary and play for the other teams in the Arabian countries to earn more money there considering the offers he had. But It seems since Rakitić is a 36-year-old player, he wants to end his career in his own country.
Hajduk Split is the next destination for Rakitić they had some negotiations and Al Shabab doesn't have any problem letting him go.

Rakitic's unhappy in Saudi. He scored once and has only played a few games. Though the way of life might not be his fit, the money is reasonable. Who else knows? Legends want to play, not lounge about on a bench and be paid. He now wants to get home. Thank you. Al-Shabab comes out as smart club. This league is more about recognition and spreading their name. Bring big stars to show they take soccer seriously. Rakritic leaving is good. He had minimal influence. Al-Shabab calls for a hungry, winning player. That is the game, though, right? Get some wins and some losses. A small setback. Believe me, the Saudi Pro League is growing.

Usually they will go to the first club in their senior career, like Luis Suarez who went to Nacional from Atletico Madrid, Rakitic is indeed a Croatian, but his first club was Basel. I wonder why he didn't just go to Basel instead of Hajduk Split. After all, he's still 36 years old, still fit to compete for middle-class clubs in Europe, there's no strong reason why he should go to Hajduk Split, even though he earns a big salary at Al-Shabab.

Since being brought in he has only played 8 times for Al Shahab and recorded only 1 goal. It seems like there is a problem with this player's adaptation process, so he doesn't really like staying at Al Shahab for long and now he wants to leave the club he just played for. Another possibility is that he wants to retire in his country and perhaps an offer has come to him so he quickly says he wants to leave. If we talk about salary, I think he has earned a decent salary with this Saudi Arabian club.

Al Shahab also understands their players' desires well enough so that they do not make it difficult for them to leave if there is a club that is interested in this player. There is definitely a vacancy in the position, but considering Ivan Rakitic's contribution, in my opinion it is not too big, so it should not make it difficult for Al Shahab to fill the existing void. However, it is true that they have to move quickly to bring in new players.

Al Nassr will come out stronger than never before because they're adding more prominent players in the transfer window. There's definitely going to be improvements for these clubs next season, these perspective coaches will managed top duties and handles without stress. Al Nassr ended the 2023/2024 SPL campaign in good position that makes them competitive for the SPL title next season. This season was probably in favour of Al Hilal that won the major trophies with eliminating the Knights of Najd in most games faced.
Well, I hope Al-Nassr can become even stronger in the coming season. And I'm quite happy with how this team is hunting for players in the current transfer market. Because it seems like Al-nassr is well aware that their back line needs to get more attention. And they have now succeeded in bringing in a goalkeeper from Brazil who actually has quite promising qualities. Bento has officially signed a contract with the Al-Nassr club which is fresh news for this club in preparation for the upcoming season. I hope Al-nassr can also bring in several other quality defenders. Because last season I felt that Al-Nassr's defenders did not perform well.
Al Nassr having troubling season and having no trophy in lase season due to the worst defense which keep things in checking and allow their opponents to have better results now going to have improvement because they are trying to bring good quality players which will give them good performance into their weakest point.

There were rumours about possible transfer of Ederson but at the end we have Manchester City not allowed this possible transfer, so Al Nassr is now having another Brazilian goalkeeper Bento which is doing good job in Brazilian Serie A and recently having his calls for the Brazilian national team which mean he is also good quality player and surely going to give his best here at this club as well for their improved performance.

Maybe Al-ahli is indeed worth considering. And it looks like Al-ahli can also be quite a strong competitor, just like last season. even though last season Al-Ahli was a team that had just been promoted again. But they were immediately able to finish in 3rd place in the standings at the end of the season.

But actually this is not that surprising because we know that Al-ahli was also active in bringing in star players from Europe last season. For example, Riyad Mahrez was brought in from Man City. Then there is Roberto Firmino who was successfully acquired from Liverpool last season. So it is not surprising that Al-ahli managed to achieve good results. And maybe next season Al-ahli will still be a strong competitor at the top of the SPL along with Al-hilal, al-nassr and al-ittihad.
Yes, nothing is impossible, although it will be difficult to beat or surpass the dominance of Al Hilal and Al Nassr, who have become the two best team in the SPL.
But at least there really is great hope with Al-Ahli and they could be one of the team that might be able to create more interesting competition in the future, just imagine lots if there were more strong team then the SPL could be much more attractive.

Actually, that no guarantee because we can see that several other team have also made transfers to bring in European players but they also can't perform well, what can make Al-Ahli like this is their coach way of utilizing all the squad strengths.
Al-Ahli game can be considered quite solid and the players can show good performance to fill every position on the field, this is something that is difficult to do but Al-Ahli has been able to do it.

~~ Snip ~~

The most important thing they need to have in Al Nassr to have better performance than Al Hilal is the better teamwork they need to have. Al Nassr has enough players like Al Hilal and they have even more superstar players than Al Hilal like Ronaldo in their team. But still, they lost the games against Al Hilal because in Al Hilal has a better team and better teamwork which came from their coach and that's why maybe having a better coach can improve the team in Al Nassr to have better performance than last season.

Last season Al Hillal managed to dominate the SPL so easily even though actually the squad owned by Al Hillal was not better than Al Nassr, if we look at their squad last season dominant was filled with local players but Al Hillal was able to play better and even the mentality owned by the Al Hillal squad looks better than Al Nassr even though Al Nassr has Ronaldo in their squad,  As you said, if indeed the teamwork shown by Al Hillal last season was the main factor in their victory, I think the main reason for good teamwork cannot be separated from the role of Al Hillal coach who is able to unite every difference that has occurred in the squad so far, so that the chemistry created between Al Hillal players is actually a strength and also the main factor that makes Al Hillal able to maintain an unbeaten record in the league last season.
The manager is the figure who is most responsible and influential in leading a team to success. Jorge Jesus succeeded in making Al Hilal appear solid by being undefeated throughout the season. It is very interesting to see Al Hilal winning trophies and going undefeated without their star player Neymar, this shows that they are not dependent on just one or two players. Jorge Jesus has succeeded in building an even squad depth, perhaps their record will be difficult to repeat next season.

Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Ittihad are teams that were also considered favorites to win last season, but they could not do much to suppress Al Hilal at the top of the standings. It looks like these three clubs really need to recruit more top European players, so they can compete with Al Hilal in fighting for the Saudi Pro League trophy. Not just the players, it seems they need to take bigger steps by recruiting more qualified managers, so that the overall competitive level of the Saudi Pro League will continue to increase every season.

Yeah the coach might be one factor but I think there are other factors too for example, Al-Nassr's defense line is weaker compared to Al-Hilal who was consistent and undefeated throughout the season therefore, Al-Nassr must bring in defenders and goalkeepers if they want to compete with Al-Hilal next season. In this transfer market, Al-Nassr does not appear to have carried out any activities so far there has only been one player transfer from the Brazil league.
Yes, in my opinion Al Nassr's weakness lies in its defense line. If you look at last season, their front line was actually quite good, but their defense conceded very easily, making it difficult for them to compete with AL Hilal. Another mistake that caused Al Nassr to fail to compete with Al Hilal was because they started the season badly, causing them to lose a lot of points.

Currently Al Nassr has not made any moves to bring in new players, if that happens before the league starts I am not sure Al Nassr can compete for the league cup next season because a weak defense will make them inconsistent every game. Coaches are very influential in a team, especially as Al Nassr has many stars who have their own egos, so the coach's role in creating a good atmosphere in the dressing room is important so that the team can work together well and gain chemistry.

You're right Alnassr defence cost them the title last season,  they conceded easy goals, I think with Bento in goal post next season is another added advantage,  Bento is a good keeper but he needs a good defender to help him. I believe Alnassr will definitely buy quality defenders for next season,  the transfer widow is still open till September for Saudi Arabia, so they have to wait for Europe transfer widow to close before making move for good defenders, because without it they can't win the title next season, if Ronaldo like, lt him score 100goals, without good back four those goals won't win title.

Ivan Rakitić legend of Barcelona and Sevilla having not good time here in Saudi League because he was able to play only 8 games which was not enough, so this is good turn for him because as mentioned now he is 36, and he is having just one or two seasons he needs to spend these at home.

No doubt if he stays here we will have another luxurious package for him because he is good and legend player and Arabian Leagues are looking for players like him which can give them good performance and also good experience for the next generation. All is set for his return to Hajduk Split where he will play his first game soon as all negations are already finalized between all parties because Al-Shabab is also looking forward for better options.

This is still an improvement for Al-Nassr though, they are still getting a better player and it should probably improve the team a lot.

Really enjoy the excitement. Its nice to see Al Nassr signing these excellent guys. However, talent alone doesnt win championships. Someone must lead. A coach who can use that talent is needed. Look at that draw with a lower-tier Portuguese squad. Thats not a skill issue. Coaching issue. If they dont play together and follow a strategy, all the stars in the world are useless. Examine Al Hilal. Their success goes beyond outstanding athletes. A superb coach helps them win. A person who can unite a group. Needed by Al Nassr. Indeed, sign big stars and make headlines. Dont forget the coach - the most crucial signing. Find someone who can win and convert this great team into a champion. Yes, its the only way to win.

I have constantly said that Al Nassr's problem lies in the coaches that the club has chosen, if Al Nassr's management had chosen to choose a foreign coach who has a good record of achievements in Europe's big leagues, I believe that the club's performance Al Nassr would have been much better because they have good players, but they lack someone with great experience to guide them well during the games and also add players who can further improve the team's performance, we saw last season how Al Hilal managed to win easily any team in the league, that's thanks to Al Hilal's good coach, we just need to look at the history of achievements of the Al Hilal coach and compare it with the history of achievements of the Al Nassr coach to conclude that there is a big difference. today Al Nassr will have another friendly game against a Portuguese team

Benzema's career at Al Ittihad did not go well, he experienced problems that disrupted his performance last season, and the problems he faced also involved management at that time. However, the problem can be resolved quickly so that it doesn't last long and the game is no longer disturbed by the problem.
Al Ittihad is one of the teams that has the money to bring in expensive players, but they have not been able to maximize it well. Last season they were only able to be in 5th position at the end of the standings, in my opinion that was not a good thing, because they could actually be in an even better position. Next season they must be able to prepare better, one of which is by taking advantage of the transfer window to bring in new players who can help the team. There are several gaps that they lack, so they must be corrected during this season's break.
In his first season with Al Ittihad, Benzema's career did not go as smoothly as expected because he experienced many problems in his first season. But all of that has been resolved well and he should be able to show changes in his second season with Al Ittihad. Apart from that, we know that Benzema is a striker who is hungry for goals, but in the previous season he was only able to contribute 9 goals in the 21 matches he played. Of course, this was a big setback for him considering that Saudi Arabian football is not as fiercely competitive as Laliga.

Whether Benzema or other European players are of course an obstacle for them, they need time to adapt and perhaps that is what makes them fail to give their best in the first season. Al Ittihad of course have quite strong finances and I think they will be targeting many of Europe's top players in this transfer window.
Adaptation is an important factor that a player will definitely go through, especially since we know that the weather between La Liga and the Saudi Pro League is different, not to mention that the majority of his teammates are players from here who have a different style of play compared to his previous team. It's clearly not easy for a player, but even so, Benzema is still able to make a contribution, even though it's not as big as expected.
Al Ittihad is reportedly eyeing several new players to bring in next season, these are players from Europe. There is also news that Casemiro is one of their targets, although this is still just a rumor because Casemiro himself will part ways with Manchester United. Competition for players is also interesting, because several teams have the same target. They compete to convince the players they are targeting to join them.
