Rumors were still circulating before the start of the season and this time it was Al-Ahli's turn to express their interest in bringing Richarlison from Spurs. Previously we knew that Richarlison himself was also unable to provide more expectations with Spurs and sometimes coach Ange also often put him on the bench. With this interest, Spurs owner Daniel Levy has set a fee of £60m for Richarlison.
In fact, that's a very expensive cost, especially considering Richarlison's current performance doesn't really deserve to be valued that high. But Spurs are indeed taking advantage of this moment to gain large amounts of money. On the other hand, it is reported that not only Richarlison is Al-Ahli's target but Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal will also be his target.
How do you see Al-Ahli's movements this summer? Will they get both or even one of them?
Richarlison would be quite good for Saudi level, I mean we are talking about a player who was much better than what Spurs could provide, he was suppose to be a world class player, but then he started to be much worse, something happened along the line and he started to not do that well, and started to miss many games, and things didn't go that well.
I guess that Richarlison at Saudi Arabia would be a lot better, it could definitely do some serious damage, he could definitely end up with some great results. I am just guessing what he will do of course, I do not have any idea what will happen, but I am guessing that 20+ goals this season seems like a seriously doable thing for him, if he plays of course.
Benzema was a great striker too when he came to Ittihad, but he didn't play many games and that is why he failed to score many goals, same could happen with Richarlison too. What I am saying with that 20+ goal is only if he takes it seriously, and he doesn't look like the type of player that takes it seriously, he looks like he rather have fun and because of that SA situation may not go as well as he hopes for.
In the end, who would say no to that much money, so I am sure he will be happy with his payments at least.
