It is because all big teams in SPL already became stronger, too. Nowadays, Ronaldo and Mane become the mainstay players of this team. I even think Al Nassr too relies on them. This is actually not good, Al Nassr will suddenly be a weak team if Ronaldo and Mane are injured. Or when Ronaldo and Mane can't perform with their best shape. Anyway, winning SPL title isn't easy. Even Ronaldo and Mane joins Al Nassr, they still can't win the title. It is a team game, the whole team must be stronger (not only the attacking line).

However, Ronaldo and Mane has contributed a lot for Al Nassr. It simply can be seen from their stats.

But it wasn't noticed the way you describe it because the goal was to bring in a player who is bigger than the club with the objective to make the club bigger. Everyone thought that when Ronaldo signed his contract for Al Nassr that they would instantly win titles. But that was a big fallacy from the first day until now. Ronaldo did what he is known for, he scored his goals and celebrated them and then the fans learned his weird scream after he scores, but there was nothing more he could achieve with Al Nassr. He isn't even the best goal scorer anymore and I believe he is looking forward to this contract being terminated unless they will extend it with the same insane conditions. His idea always was to take the money and live the best life afterwards. He was rich before he signed the contract, but half a billion in addition to what he already had doesn't feel too bad.

It's not their success but it helps to avoid too negative sentiment in their clubs internally, and can help them to move forwards in a next season with positive thinking that if they can have a good next summer transfer season, they will be able to compete with Al Ittihad and Al Hilal next season.

It is somewhat true but he is part of the team reason too. He scored goals for them but had very little contributions to proactively defense at their front line. In modern football, all players need to contribute to the team defense efforts.
