To get individual titles, he is a player who can always get them. But this season is a season where he has a hard time getting a league title. In the English League he can be successful, in the La Liga League there is no doubt about his success, in Serie A he also managed to get a title with Juventus. Now in the Saudi Pro League this is something that is difficult for him to get, because the competitors from the team he is currently playing for are good teams. Al Hilal has repeatedly been better than Al Nassr, and this season they are also working better. Although in the last match they had to swallow a negative result, overall their performance was very good.
First of all, Ronaldo is not getting the top scorer title this season, let alone breaking the record again, he is not scoring as much as last season, I doubt that's possible, unless he starts to play better and score a lot more per game. However, we also need to realize that since he was in Juventus, he hasn't seen that much club achievements, not at Juventus, not at United, not at Al Nassr, and none of those teams did better after he left neither, Juventus is still struggling, and United.. well don't get me even started on them.
So we could see that he might be good player, but he is definitely not good at picking teams to go to. Al Nassr is just another one of those, if he was at Al Hilal, he would have made that team better, or at least just the same and won titles, but he picked the wrong one. I feel like there is a big question to ask, after leaving Real Madrid, why hasn't he picked a team that could win it all? He could have done that. Hopefully, he just retires with 1000+ goals, at least that's a personal achievement he could get.
