Al Nassr can easily win the Saudi Pro League match today. They face Al Akhdoud today and this game between them has already been 90+2 minutes. Al-Nassr are still leading at this stage of the game, having already scored three goals. Their top 2 players scored today, they are Sadio Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo. In this match, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal from the penalty and Sadio Mane managed to score two goals.

Despite this player's age, he continues to perform well, even scoring goals for his team in every match and contributing to his team. Al Nassr win in today's match will make their position in the points table much stronger as with a win in today's match their total points will be 28.

I just want to say that Al Nassr managed to make a comeback until the 80th minute and I chose not to continue watching this match.
Behind 1 goal, Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo (pen) were able to make Al Nassr win until the minute I mentioned after Al Akhdoud scored in the 6th minute.

Ronaldo only scored a goal through a penalty and that goal was a penalty goal process that he made very often. Of the 11 goals this season, does anyone know how many goals came from the penalty process?

Is it because of the Cristiano effect that we feel that Al Nassr must be the team that must compete at the top. While in the Saudi Pro League there are still good teams like Al Ahli.
If I think about it, there should be four teams competing tightly to win one trophy at the end of the season. Are the four teams Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad and Al Ahli. If that happens, the Saudi Pro League will be a magnet to attract spectators. Not because of the players, but because of the league competition. What do you think about this?
I think it's true, Ronaldo's presence makes expectations for Al Nassr bigger, but on the other hand some people forget that in a team it's not just one player working but everyone has to perform well.
I agree with you, the team should be the attraction so that the league can be more interesting. But it's different from what we see in the Saudi Pro League now, because the players are the main attraction. But I still think this is a natural thing, because the fame or even more popularity of the Saudi Pro League is due to the arrival of star players. So when the attraction of players is greater than a team is something that can actually be predicted. It's just that now the steps that the Saudi Pro League must take are so that this mindset can change slowly, meaning people look more at the team, not the players.

Al Shabab hires Czech football legend Pavel Nedved as sporting director
Al Shabab hired former Czech Republic and Juventus star Pavel Nedved as their new sporting director Wednesday.

"Czech legend Pavel Nedved appointed Sporting Director of Al Shabab," the club said on X to welcome the 52-year-old.
One of the important players of his generation, Nedved left Sparta Prague in 1996 to play for Italian clubs Lazio and Juventus, respectively.
He was a Juventus midfielder from 2001-2009 until his retirement from the game.
The ex-Czech republic star amassed 327 appearances to tally 65 goals and 81 assists for Juventus, where he won back-to-back Italian Serie-A titles in 2002 and 2003.
Before his Juventus days, Nedved helped Lazio win the Italian league title in 2000.
As an individual, Nedved won the 2003 Ballon d'Or award.
After he hung up his boots in 2009, Nedved joined Juventus' Board of Directors in 2010 and then became vice president of the club from 2015-2022.

On Dec. 27, Al Shabab appointed Türkiye's Fatih Terim as their head coach. one of the famous football head coaches in Europe, Terim guided galatasaray to win Europe's second-tier trophy, the UEFA Cup in 2000 after beating English giants Arsenal on penalties.

He is considered one of the most respected coaches in Turkish football history winning eight super Lig titles with galatasaray.
Former Fiorentina and AC Milan boss, Terim has also managed the Turkish national football team, leading them to the UEFA EURO 2008 semifinals in austria and switzerland.
This is good appointment by Al-Shabab as this is one of the oldest club in Saudi League which is operating since 1947 and have many ups and downs but now management doing positive changes which will keep them in top spots of league table while in last 5 years they are never been out of top 7 spots, but their recent strategy surely brings better results and improvement into their quality.

Last two years we have huge development in Saudi League with firstly we have good changes in PIF hold clubs but after watching improvement now others are also investing and bringing better options mean healthy competition is started which is going to have good impact on this league for long run as many times mentioned we will be having good changes in this league in next decade if they will be able to invest like they are doing surely we will be having good competitiveness and good development which will bring Saudi League in one of the best leagues around globe.

Yes, that's right, in this decade the Saudi Arabian League has been controlled by 4 big teams (Al Hilal, Al Nasr, Al Ahli, and Al Ittihad). Because the funds owned by these teams are very large. Therefore, it is not surprising that these 4 teams are always able to dominate the top of the Saudi Arabian League standings. However, currently there is one team that is surprisingly able to compete with these four teams, namely the Al Qadisiyah team. At first I didn't know about this team called Al Qadisiyah. However, when Al Qadisiyah was able to promote to the Saudi Arabian League from the second division, then I found out. The reason is that after promotion to the main caste of the Saudi Arabian League, Al Qadisiyah immediately bought up several top European team players such as Nacho Fernandes and Aubameyang. After that I found out and got to know Al Qadisiyah.

Quote
The ownership of Al-Qadisiyah Club will be transferred to Saudi Aramco, AlUla Club will be transferred to Royal Commission for AlUla, Diriyah Club to Diriyah Gate Development Authority, and Saudi Falcon Club to NEOM.
https://www.argaam.com/en/article/articledetail/id/1648993
Based on this article Al-Qadisiyah Club has access to enough funds since it is under the ownership of a big oil firm Saudi Aramco. That was why they were able to some foreign players from Europe. Thus, it is not strange that they are competitive and are in the third position in the SPL.

Quote
But to be honest, at first I didn't expect Al Qadisiyah to immediately compete at the top of the Saudi Arabian League standings. Because I see that big Saudi Arabian League teams like Al Hilal and the other three big teams will be difficult to beat. But the proof is that currently Al Qadisiyah has really been able to surpass Al Nasr and Al Ahli in the Saudi Arabian league. Because currently Al Qadisiyah is in 3rd place. Apart from that, if for example Al Qadisiyah was able to become champion in the Saudi Arabian league in its first season, it would indeed be a very spectacular thing. But I'm sure this will be quite difficult for Al Qadisiyah to get. Because currently Al Ittihad and Al Hilal have much better performance than Al Qadisiyah. So it will definitely be very difficult for Al Qadisiyah to become champions in the Saudi Arabian league this season.
Al Qadisiyah is eight points below the League leaders Al Ittihad. It will be difficult for them to win the League since there are also other good teams competing for it. But they have been consistent recently, winning all their recent five games. It will be good for the SPL if a new champion emerges. It will show that they League is now competive.

This week we will see how the competition between them, namely Al Nassr, Al Hilal and Al Ittihad with the opponents they will face to target three points.
Once Al Ittihad fails to secure full points, that's where the beginning of their chances of winning the Saudi Professional League will be difficult because a small mistake made by Al Ittihad is something that Al Hilal is waiting for.
2 points are very close and still very possible for Al Hilal to catch up.
If the Saudi Pro League is as tight as it is now, then it is very interesting to follow and a situation like this is the answer that the Saudi Pro League is not a league that can be underestimated.
This season is different from last season. Last season Al-hilal dominated too strongly because they were not even defeated until the end. Meanwhile, this season the competition is quite tight between Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad. and yes, the slight difference in points makes the competition feel more lively this season. And the excitement becomes even more pronounced. But unfortunately this season we see that Al-Nassr is quite far behind and the point difference is getting wider. Al-Nassr must continue to win the remaining matches this season and hope that Al-ittihad and Al-hilal make mistakes by losing several points in the remaining matches this season. But all of that seems like it will be difficult to happen. And this season Al-Qadisiyah is also competing fiercely.

In fact, I personally think that Al Hilal will have a very difficult time winning when facing Al Ittihad. For this reason, Al Hilal's struggle to become champions again in the Saudi Arabian league this season is not as easy as in the previous season. Because Al Hilal's toughest challenge at the moment is not Al Nasr but Al Ittihad.

In last night's match, Al Hilal lost to Al Ittihad in the quarter-finals of the Saudi Arabian King's Cup on penalties. In this match, Al Ittihad really made it difficult for Al Hilal, because Al Ittihad really had a really good strategy in this match. That's why this match ended with a score of 2-2 before finally going to a penalty shootout. So with this, Al Hilal has now failed to enter the semifinals of the Saudi Arabian King's Cup. So if you look at this, it means it is clear that Al Ittihad is currently a very strong team in the Saudi Arabian league. Therefore, I believe Al Ittihad has a greater chance of becoming champion of the Saudi Arabian League than Al Hilal.

Especially for Al Ittihad, I think that not many people expected that they could get what they have achieved so far because of Al Hilal's great dominance in the last few seasons and this season Al Hilal also performed convincingly, but Al Ittihad showed good achievements that made them perched in first place in the standings.
Two points is not a long distance. If they are careless, then Al Ittihad must resign from that position and Al Hilal will work hard to be able to lead the league again this season.
Al Ittihad has been quite successful in making improvements at least until now, yes what they did made them more solid and the results were quite satisfying by successfully being at the top of the standings and just eliminating Al Hilal in the King's Cup. It is not something easy to beat a club that is known to be very difficult to beat in recent times. The coach can do his job well and the players can apply the instructed strategy so as to create a good game. Their chances of winning the title from Al Hilal this season are very big, as long as there are no problems and they can maintain what they have shown so far.

Which is why saying that something is certain makes no sense, does it? It is not about allowing in sports, it is about ability and so far Al Ittihad has been doing a better job than Al Hilal, it's very simple I think.

Fact is Al Nassr is out once again and Ronaldo can't change anything about it. Nobody is talking about Al Nassr anymore as they never had a chance against those other teams and you can see that Ronaldo can't even take the lead in the goal scorer list and his good old friend Benzema has the same number of goals scored while he played two games less. These aren't good statistics for Ronaldo.

Al Nassr actually got eliminated from the cup against a weaker team in the round before. No great achievements for Ronaldo at all, but nobody cares anyway.

For how long will Neymar be injured and will he ever return as a player for Al Hilal?

As far as I know, Al-Ittihad's last match was the King Cup of Champions, not SPL, I am also confused about which match is meant, Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal have provided extraordinary achievements this season in the SPL, being at the top of standings 1&2.
Al- Nassr is also a strong team, they have to be more careful, they always give sudden surprises. Overall, Al-Nassr is still not doing well, regardless of what happened to the club or manager, so Al-Nassr's performance has really declined.

Both these teams (Al Ittihad and Al Hilal) are so far ahead of others in this season so far. So what went well for them? Aleksandar Mitrović is the top scorer till now, and he is part of Al Hilal. His team-mate Sergej Milinković-Savić is also not that far behind. Al Ittihad has forwards such as Karim Benzema and Houssem Aouar. Also let's give credit to where it is due. Jorge Jesus of Al Hilal and Laurent Blanc of Al Ittihad have managed their teams well, and they have been part of the SPL for quite some time.

What a strange feeling to see Al Hilal losing a game(in this case a draw but a lose in the key).

Is gonna be a very good batle between Al Hilal and Al itihad for the crown of the league. Al Nasrr...... another season in the bin i cant see them coming back.

Which match are you referring to? Al-Hilal's last match was a King Cup of Champions match and it was not a league match, so it has nothing to do with SPL at all. Al-Ittihad are currently leading the league, 2 points ahead of Al-Hilal, an impressive achievement so far for Al-Ittihad. By the way, I agree that Al-Nassr have no place anywhere. The club has not improved after everything that happened there.

Al Hilal lost the quarterfinal match in King Cup of Champions and therefore they are done and dusted for this season. Al-Ittihad beat them on penalties. This was the result which Al Hilal wouldn't have anticipated.

The match was level by the end of the full time. K. Benzema scored both goals for them in the playtime.  Al Hilal lost the first two plenty and Al-Ittihad didn't miss any and they won this crucial match. (Plenty Score 3-1)

Al Nassr is still at the 4th place out of 18 teams. But more was expected from them. The weak defense is causing a lot of issues for Al Nassr in this season. The management should seriously try to get some good international players for the defense. A lot of people are actually blaming Cristiano Ronaldo for their issues, which is not fair. He is not a defense player. Till now, in this season he has scored a total of 10 goals (he is second in the top-scorer list, only Aleksandar Mitrović of Al Hilal with 12 goals is ahead of him). He did his part. Now his team-mates need to do their job.

Yesterday we have two quarterfinals for the King Cup as in first match we have Al Qadisiya completely outclass Al Taawon with the score of 0–3 difference of quality was clear from start as we have first goal from Aubameyang in 34th minute just after few minutes we have seconded one while after starting of second half we have 3rd goal from Mexican star Quinones J. who was man of the match as well just because of his impressive performance.

Al Ataawon played quite well, they defended and attacked as much as possible. Their defense was quite good with the many sweeps they made to ward off attacks from Al Qadisiyah, but Al Qadisiyah's attacks could not be stopped so that Al Ataawon had to concede three goals from Al Qadisiyah. Al Ataawon had to accept defeat in this match, the attacks they made were considered still not sharp enough, so that out of the nine shots they made, at least only two were on target from Al Qadisiyah, but the two shots were blocked well by K. Casteels. Al Qadisiyah is filled with many foreign players, and this is what makes them stronger than Al Ataawon.

In second match, we have two top teams from Saudi soccer Al Hilal host Al Ittihad this was one of the best matches as we have early lead for Al Ittihad through Karim Benzema which were equalized by Al Hilal match ended on draw in extra time Al Hilal took lead through Marcos Leonardo who was on field due to Metrovic injury, but this was also levelled by Karim Benzema after this we have won for Al Ittihad on penalties.

Beyond my expectations, it turned out that as a striker, with his age being quite old, he was still sharp as the spearhead of Al Ittihad, even in this match he was the one who saved Al Ittihad from defeat. Not only did he score a goal in this match, he was also able to execute a penalty well so that the other players became more confident in executing the penalty.
