The difference is not that much if you ask me because both teams have a prolific striker that always scores the goals and the two team’s attack well and are consistent in winning matches. I think if Al Nassr didn’t struggle at the beginning of the season they would be top of the league by now but also Al Hilal’s consistency is what i admire but i still think in terms of play and clinicality Al Nassr is a bit ahead of them.

I like the competition between these two teams being 1st and 2nd on the table they would be more serious and wouldn’t want to drop points to stay in the title race. It’s to early to predict who will survive and stay consistent till the end of the season but these two are on the right track if they want to win the title.

I have no doubt in Al Nassr, I believe they are more than capable to win the match because they know what is at stake, they wouldn’t want to throw away their title hopes so they need to win to close up the gap between them and Al Hilal. The league has been so competitive this season so we can’t underestimate any team as it now but teams like Al Khaleej that have been struggling in recent matches and are not far from relegation zone needs a miracle to win in-form Al Nassr team. Al Nassr form have been one of the best form in the world recently, they have not lost a match since August and only draw once while winning the rest. That’s an impressive run of games.

But how big of a blow is it to them considering that they won their games without Neymar as they did with Neymar? Al-Hilal has tied games with and without him. I don't see much of a problem in Neymar being injured. I agree that he would give the team some more options because his quality is higher than that of his replacement, but still the team as a whole doesn't suffer from it as if they were about to face a significant weakening and about to start losing games or anything like that.

Ittihad FC lost to Al Shabab by a very narrow score and this defeat showed a real decline from last season's Saudi Pro League champions, in five matches they only managed to get 3 points, a loss that clearly made it impossible for them to defend the title.

Al-Hilal is indeed trying to return to their glory days like in previous seasons. Last season they lost in competition with Al-Nassr and Al-ittihad. But this season it seems that Al-Hilal is again showing who is the king in the SPL. Because the holder of the biggest trophy in the last 10 seasons seems to be held by Al-Hilal until now.

But I'm really annoyed with Al-ittihad's performance lately. It seems like the club is in quite a clear decline. Last season they could have been better even though they hadn't brought in many European players. But this season it seems that Al-ittihad has lost a little in the top competition. Because other clubs seem to have adapted and improved their squads for the better. Al-ittihad just lost to Al-Shabab. And this will widen the gap between Al-ittihad and Al-hilal who are at the top of the standings.

Today Al-Nassr will also compete against Al-Khaleej. At first glance, this match looks like it will be easy to predict. But after seeing how Al-ittihad lost points, I started to think that this match could end the same because the last meeting between these two clubs actually ended in a draw. But I will still trust Al-Nassr this time. Because Al-Nassr must win this match if they don't want to be left behind by Al-Hilal.

Al Hilal are ranked first on SPL table with 32 points, some good gap against second team, Al Nassr who's currently with 25 points. The game was a tough one but atleast, the visitors accumulate relevant points and they've move on, if they continue getting good points, alot of things will become competitive because other teams would want to make them decline in performance by all means.

I was not expecting to see this coming up for Al Hial but in the game against Al Fateh, they were very close to losing points in this match and the performance of Al Fateh was not bad at all even against a team like Al Hial with much better and more expensive players they have.
I think Salem Aldawsari was the best player in Al Hial because of the effect he had in this game, especially in the first goal from the penalty kick.
 

Al Hilal has been the most outstanding team in the Saudi League this season and while their Al Nassr are trying to catch up with them in the league table, they're winning more matches to extend their lead at the summit of the league standings.
Now that they've won their game and extended their lead to seven points, Al Nassr who'll be playing against Al-Khaleej tomorrow are now under pressure to win that game.

Al Hilal must realize that Neymar can get injury again at any time. I'm sure they are not so surprised with the current condition of Neymar. Sure, the must accept that Neymar won't do anything for the club because Neymar should take a rest for a long time. But by having Neymar, Al Hilal already gets the advantage, their popularity is increasing significantly. It triggers the raise of the sales of their merchandise at least.

I think Al Hilal squad doesn't need Neymar. They are strong enough to compete for the title. With no Neymar in the lineup, they seem playing more solidly. But when there is Neymar on the lineup, they must adjust the game style with Neymar. It is because Neymar often too selfish in playing, he sometimes too long to hold the ball. Honestly, I prefer to see Al Hilal lineup without Neymar.

Neymar's surgery was done in Brazil as he wanted to do, because Al Hilal wanted this player to stay in Saudi Arabia during this time be he didn't do that. Neymar's Father posted a picture and he said "Everything is going to be okay" and that's how he supported his son. Al Hilal spent 90 million for this Brazilian star and he played only five games. Neymar is going to be unavailable until the end of this season.

Al Hilal really played quite impressively in today match where they were able to put a lot of pressure on Al Fateh in this match. From the first half we saw that both teams played quite aggressively in attacking and also for Al Fateh they made a lot of efforts to score a goal but their chances were broken by Yassine Bounou. Yassine Bounou was a strong enough wall for Al Hilal in this match because his quality in blocking the ball in this match was worthy of appreciation. Yep, Al Hilal won again the match with 2 goals. They are leading the table with 7 points differences now. So far, Al Hilal performance is very impressive, they are undefeatable. Anyway, in the match against Al Fateh, Al Hilal couldn't dominate the match. Al Fateh won the ball possession, they also made more shots attempts. Most people I know felt that Al-Hilal would drop points today cause of the way Al Fateh are in the top 4 on the standings and since they're home they got more advantage to trouble Al-Hilal and steal the 3 points but Al-Hilal being the strongest team in the league currently and also 1st place on the standings showed their class and beat Al Fateh away from home, the absence of Neymar wasn't really noticed cause they got other top class players and good striker that helped then to defeat Al Fateh.

 Al-ittihad have been underperforming lately they've really dropped points and gone down from the top 4, with the way they're dropping they're gradually losing their chances of defending their title cause the gap between them and Al-Hilal is very long,the match is still 0-1 and Al-ittihad are still finding it hard to get a comeback goal and win the game.

Al Ittihad seemed to have difficulty getting a comeback from being 1 goal behind in the first half because the match was about to enter the final 15 minutes of normal time.

What happened to Al Ittihad was Nuno's mismatch with the players.
Al Ittihad no longer deserves to be considered a competitor in the race for the title if we observe their journey from the start of the Saudi Professional League.
Whether or not Al Ittihad can return to the championship title competition depends on all the teams involved, from players, coaches to management.

Al Hilal was unstoppable in collecting points, they temporarily dominated the Saudi Pro League. With 32 points, I think it will be quite far away if Al Nassr can't secure full points against Al Khaleej in tomorrow's match, but to stay close with Al Hilal then Al Nassr must win.

Al Nassr in tomorrow match will be against mediocre team, but Khaleej is quite a great because this season they managed to get one point against Taawoun and also Ettifaq. So Al Nassr must be careful to be able to secure full points and I think they must make at least 2 goals or more to win, but also with Ronaldo and Mane I'm sure they can win with a score above 2.
