Finishing week 8 with a win, Al Nassr are now moving up the table following the draw in the match between AL Ahli and AL Ettifaq. They are now on a 6-match winning streak after losing their first 2 matches. They are by far the most prolific club scoring 24 goals so far, their star player is also the top scorer with 10 goals, yes that is Cristiano Ronaldo. Not only that, he is also the player who has recorded the most assists so far with 5 assists. His sharpness is back at an older age, it looks like he is fighting with his age, amazing.
Of course, as long as they can focus on continuing to win, they can conquer things that were previously quite difficult. I think Al-Nassr has a winning mentality for this season and it's just a matter of how they can maintain it until the end of the season. However, with such good statistics, Al-Nassr is again a team to watch out for in the top flight and maybe Al-Hilal or Al-Ittihad should be more alert this time. Ronaldo is a goal scoring machine and even at that age he should have started to lose his playing form and finishing but he can still amaze everyone with his abilities.

Al Nassr has always been the top of the standings, and they managed to become champions in the past 5 seasons, after which Al Hilal managed to become champions in a row and last season Al Ittihad managed to break the record from Al Hilal. This season is likely to be different, I'm not sure who will be the champion, clearly the club you mentioned is the favorite to win the title this season.
Talking about Ronaldo, I think it is directly related to their current coach, yes the coach knows how to use the goal machine that has declined in recent seasons.

Today 2 clubs from the Saudi Pro League will play in the Asian Champions League, Sepahan vs Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr vs FC Istiklol what do you think?
Al-Nassr is predicted to win easily while  Al-Ittihad cannot be predicted because there is a possibility that it will be a draw, so it is risky if we bet on MoneyLine
I tried experimenting with parlay bets Al-Nassr -2.5 + Al-Ittihad over 2.5 on total goals, total odds @3.25 I think this is not bad right?
Or with other options Al-Nassr -3 + Al-Ittihad Both teams to score YES total odds @3.82 yeah not much different from the first parlay.

Lewandowsky will have known where he will be playing for in two seasons from now, because he is still a valuable player at Barca and although I know he is a bit older and slower than his days at Bayern, a move to the Arab league may still be very much in the nearest months from now.
Probably the MLS might come under his consideration following in Messi's path because he is a striker and still has much value now when good strikers are needed.

If Lewandowski still believes in his abilities then the Saudi Pro League is the right place while in MLS he will not have the challenges and competition so it depends what he wants, if he has a chance at 2 choose Saudi Pro League or MLS then I have to say the Saudi Pro League is more tempting he will earn a lot of money and compete with other star players. Regarding age, he is still at the same level as Benzema 35 years old and Ronaldo is 2 years older so age should not be included in the reasons.
Currently Lewandowski still has a fairly long contract with Barca, namely until June 2026. So it is very likely that until his contract ends with Barca, I am sure Lewandowski will not go to another club. Because even at Barca, he can currently be said to be very influential and still has very good performance even though he is no longer too young. Because it was proven that at the start of the season he joined, he made a very good contribution to Barca by recording 6 goals. So in that way, even though the amount of money that the Saudi Arabian League club will offer Lewandowski will indeed be very large, I don't think it will really shake Lewandowski or Xavi as Barca coaches. The reason is, Lewandowski also stated that he rejected a transfer last season, and Xavi will definitely not let Lewandowski go. Because firstly it is about the contract and secondly it is about Lewandowski's extraordinary contribution.

But if Lewandowski had to choose to move clubs, I also think it would be better for him to go to the Arab League, rather than follow Messi to MLS. Because in the future it is very likely that the Saudi Arabian league will become a very competitive league and will be filled with even more great players from European clubs. Apart from that, don't forget about the huge contract money.Cool

After losing their first two league games of the season, Al Nassr has rejuvenated to become the most prolific club in the Saudi Pro League and are not showing any sign of slowing down with their excellent form this season. They've won their last 6 league games and are currently trailing league leaders Al Hilal by just two points.
Their star man Cristiano Ronaldo is simply on fire at the moment and is performing like player who's 10 years younger than his current age. If Cristiano Ronaldo continues with his current goalscoring form, he'll surely finish the season with over 40 goals in all competitions

That is correct but not to forget that the three games against the first three ranked teams are still to be played. So the hard stuff is still pending, but I think those are the games that I would also spend some time on to watch the highlights as I really want to know how the best teams over there are doing against each other. Ronaldo currently also tries to get along better. If I know correctly he didn't have any minor scandals, is focused on the game and he can even enjoy goals of his teammates. Quite rare for him but seems to work now.

Ronaldo has succeeded in taking his team this far  and  believe they'll be very successful because the introduction of Mane and several other top players into the team helped in bringing out the best in him and that's why he's currently on fire this season, he currently hold the position of the highest goal scorer in the league currently and has already helped them to secure a trophy.

Even though Al-Nassr lost 2 matches at the early stages of the game, they've tried in keeping a good record since then they're currently 4th in the table and if they continue to maintain a good record it won't be very hard for them to top the league if those above them carelessly drop points cause they're just 2 points behind the league leaders Al-Hilal.

To be honest, I don't follow discussions and developments regarding Lewandowski. However, it seems that in recent days there has been a lot of discussion regarding Lewandowski, especially in this thread. which in the end, I tried to get news from some sports newspapers. I did not find any reports saying that Lewandowski is interested in leaving for the Saudi Pro League even though he is currently 35 years old. It was even reported that there were 4 clubs interested in the services of this player from Poland.

Last season, Lewandowski refused to accept the offer and intended to stay at Camp Nou. It is reported that the Saudi Pro League clubs have not yet given up, according to Spanish media, Diario Sport, an offer from Saudi Arabia will come for Lewandowski in the summer of 2024. It will be interesting to see whether Lewandowski will accept it, or he will stick with his previous commitment. convey it on previous occasions, especially last summer. Lewa once said that he was very happy to be at Camp Nou with the young talent. He also said that it looks like he will end his career at Barcelona.

But, we never know what will happen in the future. However, referring to what Xavi once said, Lewandowski is a role model player in his squad. He is very influential both on the field and off the field, especially in the dressing room. There is no doubt that Xavi often hears input from his flagship striker. Well, because summer 2024 still has a long gap. So, we'll see. For now, we can better discuss things that happened in this competition.

With no goals scored, it seems like the Al-Ahli vs Al-Ettifaq match was quite boring and we can see from the existing statistics that not many chances were created and the 0-0 draw meant the two only shared 1 point. As hosts, Al-Ahli failed to get full points even though they had a much better squad than Al-Ettifaq, but in fact they were not as usual and they were not even able to score 1 goal. Meanwhile for Al-Ettifaq, of course this is a pretty good result considering that in the away game they can still get points. This result means that the two of them will compete again in the following week because the distance between the two is not that far, only 1 point apart in the standings.

As I said in the previous post. If, Al-Ahli is experiencing problems within their camp, especially for Firmino as the team's mainstay center forward. I don't know what is their problem, because I rarely watch Saudi Pro League matches. except for big matches like Al Hilal vs Al Nassr, or Al Ittihad.

These three clubs are quite fun to watch. But that doesn't mean that other matches don't provide the enjoyment presented in the matches. I don't dare to speculate too far, because I don't have much information regarding most of the clubs competing in this league. However, it seems that Matthias Jaissie, as Al-Ahli coach, needs other tactics and strategies for his squad. if necessary, he can rotate the front line. If Firmino is able to return to his form, then this team will be a little tougher.

Meanwhile for Al-Ettifaq, this team is under the guidance of Steven Gerarrd. Of course, he has experience both as a player and as a coach. So far, Steven Gerrard has been able to bring his team much better. and now, Al-Ettifaq is in 5th position in the standings.  btw, with a draw in this match, as I predicted in the previous post.

I think this is still the early stages of the competition. Only eight matches have been played in this season. So I think as the season progresses, the teams are going to start performing better. Al Ahil has been the most inconsistent team among the top once recently in my opinion. They will have to show improvement quickly if they want to compete for the title. Right now, they are in the sixth position with two wins two losses, and one draw in the last five matches.

I am actually really happy to see Cristiano Ronaldo in this season by the way. He has played seven matches and scored 10 goals and also has five assists in his name. he has started the season really well. I hope he can continue performing like this throughout the whole season. Maybe he will be able to make an important contribution to his national team as well.

Lewandowsky is a beast, one of the finnest number nine of the world, i dont remember another player with his style of play, maybe Bervatov has similar charachteristics. I can see him playing a few years more in top level, but i also can see him going to saudi arabia in the near future, football this days is so much dinamic.
Lewandowski has a very great positioning and finishing, but he was not good at dribble, unlike berbatov which is good at dribble. Lewandowski is pretty similar to the benzema and chicarito which were always able positioning themselves into the correct position to receive the deflected ball. Lewandowski may have some years remaining in the top level of football competition. Lewandowski has yet given a signal if he would be moving to the saudi pro league in the future.
I think that depends on how big saudi's offer for him. Lewandowski may be able to change his mind if he will able to receive a lucrative offer from saudi. It will be a very important thing.
So far no plan from barcelona in extending his contract. I hope barcelona will able to give him another contract extention for another year.

I believe Barcelona is going to extend his contract. Because Barcelona got him for quite a big amount of money. So Barcelona should definitely extend his contract and probably try to sell him for some money. I am still very sure that the Saudi clubs are going to pay a huge amount of money for Robert Lewandowski. You know they paid a huge amount of salary for Cristiano Ronaldo. So they definitely can afford to pay a really insane amount of money to get Robert Lewandowski as well. Barcelona should not let him go for free. Right now. Barcelona needs a lot of money. And they can get a lot of money by selling him to one of the Saudi clubs for sure.

Even this all is rumor because most chances he will try to stay in Barcelona which is his priority for his rest of career, and he already rejected an offer from Saudi League with Barcelona is surely looking for good amount which will help them for having better things, but this all depends on how this deal will be gone because right now we have two more years for Robert Lewandowski to stay here so hopefully 2024 will be important with many top players are under radar of organizers in Saudi League which are looking for better results and improved quality in coming season.

Currently, this combo of Robert Lewandowski and Barcelona surely doing impressive job and have more to do in future, but we talk about money which is needed by Barcelona for ending their huge deficit is also important for them because now they are also having few good players which can keep things at the top for them in future.
yep, there really is not any confirmation about this rumor because we also see how Lewandowski is still performing spectacularly in his current team and making a good contribution there, which gives Xavi the idea to keep him.

but I still believe that teams from the SPL will still make big transfers when the transfer market open, especially Al Nassr and Al Hilal who are currently very ambitious to continue making offers to players from europe even though they can not bring in Lewandowski, there will be alternative choices for other players and we will all see the surprise of reliable european players who will come to the SPL again in large numbers.

You are right that football is currently very dynamic, all changes can happen quickly because now football is a business and money plays a very important role today, with money you can build a better league like what is happening now.
Likewise, Lewandowski moving to the Saudi pro league is very possible, so far he is still quite sharp and playing at a big club like Barcelona will make his name always included in the targets of clubs in this league, maybe not this season but next season it is very possible to move unless he doesn't like the high temperatures in Arabia or its culture which is very different from Europe.

Lewandowski proved that he is a good player even if he gets old and we can see that in Barcelona because still Lewandowski is the top scorer of this team and he is definitely the first hope for them to score goals in any game. While I think Lewandowski will leave Barcelona sooner or later and Suadi Arabia is a good place for him to get retire there after earning some more money.

The problem is that Lewandowski is not yet interested in moving to any club including 4 clubs from the Saudi Pro League who are interested in him, he is still enjoying his career with Barcelona However several sources say that next season Barcelona will look for a new player to replace Lewandowski so we can assume that Barcelona will not wait until his contract expires. Barcelona brought him in for a transfer fee of €45 million, imagine if a club from this league made an offer of up to 60-80 million, of course Barcelona couldn't refuse it.

In one interview, if I'm not mistaken, he said that he was no longer chasing many goals or being the top scorer. But he now wants to be able to enjoy the game more and bring victory with his current team, namely Barcelona. But in reality, after Joao Felix arrived at Barcelona, it turned out that Lewandowski became productive again. So that his age is not young does not seem to be an obstacle.

So it's not surprising that Arab clubs really want Lewandowski. Because I think he could be even more productive if he joined the Arab club. As happened with Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now even the top scorer in the Arab League. So I think if Lewandowski joins next season then he can also compete as top scorer in the Arab League.

I think we should not compare these two players because the characters they have are not the same. Robert Lewandowski was the top scorer in Byer Munich and he eve scored more than 40 goals in a season if I'm not mistaken which shows his high skills to score a goal in the games. Also, he is getting old and a palyer at this age usually can't be stable anymore but still, he is the first sticker for Xavi and his team.
Maybe he can even shine more in this season.
While he had offers from Saudis he didn't join the Saudi League, however, the offer is still there and there is a higher chance for them to hire Lewandowski in the next summer.

Close opportunity for Robert Lewandowski winning Ballon D'or, current Barcelona achievement only winning domestic league seems impossible for winning Ballon D'or
Lewandowski seems only to compete for La Liga top scorer, he is unlikely to compete for Ballon D'or anymore. His performance is no longer in the best level, I think it is already decreasing a bit. There are also many top younger players who play more impressively nowadays. I'm not sure Lewandowski has a chance to win against Haaland, Mbappe, or other younger players for Ballon D'or.

but if any Saudi Arabia team make fantastic offer will he miss great opportunity due he is not on the young age again. His contract with Barcelona left one year and there are not negotiation yet he will extend contract or not but excited if play for Saudi Arabia club not only get fantastic payment salary
I also don't hear that Barcelona is planning to extend Lewandowski's contract. There are still 3 years left (expires in 2026), I think it is more than enough for Barcelona. In the next 3 years, Barcelona probably gets a younger player for their main striker. If they sign Felix, Felix can be he next main striker for Barcelona. He looks fit with Barcelona game style and he is still young (23 years old).

Well, I agree Lewandowski has a chance to join Saudi league if there is an interesting offer. Lewandowski must expect to get higher salary, meanwhile Barcelona needs money to buy new players to strengthen their squad. It is quite crucial for Barcelona because they are still in financial crisis until now. They need big money to recover from the crisis.
