Ittihad is in first place for now, with one more victory and a match advantage. Although the opponent Akhdoud was not a challenging opponent, he showed good resistance, especially they used the left wing well, and Godwin tried to create positions from that wing. He was able to go to the goal, but actually Al Akhdoud could not score the goal he wanted. Experienced striker Benzama scored the goal with a nice ball follow-up and a touch with his knee, giving his team an important victory. The Saudi league did not attract attention when there was only Ronaldo, but now that there are other quality players, good matches attract my attention this season.
Yes there are many games in the Saudi Professional league that can attract attention now asides Al Nassr. Al Ittihad have some very good players that can attract attention, so their games are becoming more attractive to watch. Benzema scored in their game today, but this goal still puts him far away from the golden boot in the league where some other players have already recorded more than five goals. Benzema has to meet expectations of contesting with Christiano Ronaldo for the golden boot.

Yes all the top players join in this league just for big money, I don't believe they are go to Saudi just for a new challenge. But if Ronaldo still play at Manchester United, surely he will not be tempted by the Saudi offer, although the money they are offering is large. Ronaldo go to Saudi because he have a problems with the Red Devils club, but if Ronaldo doesn't go to this league then Neymar Benzema or the others not want to go to Saudi, because this league is also not very popular.

The top player of the European nation was joined the Saudi Arabia league only for the money.Only few for the participation for the involving to many new league.Even the top players like Ronaldo,Mbappe also for the good money from the league and it can be used for their future settlement. Many players was at the retirement age,So this will help to get huge money in the short period of time.Ronaldo playing in the Manchester with the less money compared to the money in the Saudi Arabia League. After the top player had went Saudi Arabia league all the other followed the path of the senior player in their community.
Before Ronaldo, good players were going to Saudi Arabia. Talisca was one of them, but Ronaldo's departure to Saudi Arabia caused a revolution in the football world. Saudi Arabian teams started to make stronger offers, thinking that if even Ronaldo is coming, every player will come. Thus, Benzema followed their lead. If it continues like this, I'm sure we will see more players.

What do you mean by if it continues like this more players will join? It is already happening and I think the Saudi League is well established now and they will have no issue bringing in foreign players. As things are going now they will even bargain a fair price for players now instead of spending so much money to sign them. Players have been going to the Saudi league ever since but Ronaldo’s move made other players see the league differently than they did before, both players and fans used to think of the league as a career ending league where old players end their careers but now we are seeing young players sign for them like Gray and some others.

Saudi people have finally achieved their goal of making the league a well known league thanks to Al Nassr for making Ronaldo’s move happen and in just like a year it seems like half of europe have joined Saudi league already.

You may not believe if the top players come to Saudi for new challenges besides earning big money. However, it is real that European players must face new challenges in Saudi Pro League. You can see Ronaldo, he is not easy to lead Al Nassr to win SPL title, right? It is clear as a challenge for him, his big name can't guarantee for SPL trophy/title. Now, Ronaldo also must compete with other top European players because there are Benzema, Neymar, Firmino, and some other top players. It is not easy for him because he is getting older. So, how can you not believe that the top players come to SPL for new challenges, too?

SPL may be not so popular in the past. But after many top players come, SPL becomes quite popular now. You need to learn how far SPL improved now.

Whatever the motivation for a player joining a new team, it should not be viewed as a means of obtaining something or a favour that another team does not provide. Their decision is theirs, and it should not be used to dismiss or criticise them for their achievements in football thus far. We all know that Saudi Arabia is a league that pays far more than European leagues; if the players are signing for the money, they may value the money more than the recognition they will receive in Europe. More players will be bought to go there to play on a yearly basis, so I think it will be great to see a diversified vigorous competition from both sides.

Before the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo, there were players that have been there from Europe but they failed to make crucial changes for the league. Saudi Pro League popularity have increased in the past months, because of just one big name from Europe. Cristiano Ronaldo is an outstanding player with good qualities, signing for Al Nassr brought immense development for the league and they're currently active in the transfer market, signing more European players, doing it the smart way by placing tempting gigantic bids which these players can't refrain from accepting and making the bold steps.

The player you mentioned didn't really influence the league as much as Ronaldo did, his arrival to Al-Nassr alone made the club more popular and they even benefitted financially from his shirt sales than they did with other player before him, Al-Nassr is now  very popular to many fanourtesy to Ronaldo's move and it has even influenced other experienced players to join the league making it more interesting.
The Saudi pro league spent very high, second to the EPL in the transfer market this summer and we could see that double by next summer, because alot of more players including the younger ones are becoming interested to move over there, but i feel they should give their country side players chances to sign as well in as much as they're trying to build their league to a better standard with those top class players.

Thankfully i only betted on Al Ittihad to win the match it was a low odd but i got it. Wierd that they didnt score more goals but when i saw 5 in defence from other team i knew they were gonna park the bus and a good thing that Benzema scored for the win.
Karim Benzema has returned from injury and was the guy who constructed the difference on the scoreboard with a stunning goal into his opponent's region. After a fantastic performance in King Abdulaziz Sport City, Al Ittihad won 1 nil. Nuno is doing an outstanding job of handling and enhancing the team's performance at Al Ittihad. There would have been no way I could have underestimated Al Ittihad and allowed them to lose these three points. They dominated every aspect of the game, but it was more difficult for them to score a goal.

I was worried when Karim Benzema began to have some injury crisis after his transfer to the Saudi League. I was concerned because the club has spent so much on him and deserved to get the best from him. This season Ronaldo have began to score goals but nothing was coming from the French striker. But his winner goal today have proved that the world best player still has much to offer. Al Ittihad dominated the game and created much chances to score but failed to maximize some of them. The match might not have produced a many goals but Al Ittihad to still occupy the first position on the Saudi leguue table. Al-Okhdood Club will have to stay in the thirteenth position and they will be hoping to get a second win for the season.

Al Ittihad-Jeddah could only win by scoring 1 goal. They were expected to score more goals. Many people's betting slips were lost. Karim Benzema scored in the 72nd minute. Until that moment, Al Akhdoud resisted well but couldn't finish it. With this result, Al Ittihad-Jeddah regained the first place in the points table. They started the league by storm as one of the strongest candidates for the championship. This season is really competitive.
I didn't watch the match, yes a lot of people lost their bets including me. Statistically, Ittihad should got scored a lot of goals in that match, they had better in ball possession and opportunities there, but Akhdoud seemed very motivated against a strong team like Ittihad and made it difficult for squad Ittihad to scored. But at least Ittihad succeeded in stealing three points, although to be honest on bettor side I was a little disappointed.
It was really regretful to see Al-Ittihad's performance when they faced Al-Akhdoud who were much weaker but couldn't score more goals even though many bettors who bet on this match thought that at least Al-Ittihad would be able to score 2 goals or more and it turned out to be a real surprise. happen.
What was even more painful was when Benzema became the savior in this match giving 1 goal in the second half which made us all almost unsure whether we would be able to win this match but I also saw that Al-Ittihad's performance seemed a little inconsistent so it was very difficult to score more.

Actually, there is no harm in trying to join a Saudi Arabian club because the Arab league is currently experiencing an increase in popularity so that in the long term this Arab league will become a big league.[/left]

It depends on the player's perspective sometimes they think that if they choose to move to the Saudi League then their career will be over, Oscar is one of the players who experienced this, when he decided to move to the Chinese League in 2017 then no European clubs were interested in him, even though we knew in 2017 that Oscar's career was very impressive and one of the most expensive young players unfortunately his career was trapped in the Chinese league, maybe this is what Lukaku and other players think.

Maybe for some young players who don't shine, they will likely accept if they are offered to join Saudi clubs, especially with a high salary offer. but for players who have big names, such as Osimhen, Mbappe, and maybe several other young players. They will clearly prioritize their careers in the European League, let alone competing in the highest caste league, namely the Champions League. they are not so tempted by money, in fact the shining young players are more interested in joining Europe's top teams.

The case is different with players aged 30+, some are interested in joining to compete in this league. Apart from being offered a large salary, they can enjoy the rest of their career in football. for example Benzema, he is still very reliable for Real Madrid. However, considering age, plus in the near future his position will gradually be replaced by young players. In the end, he accepted Al Ittihad's offer plus a fantastic salary. well, for now, not many young players are interested in getting involved in the Saudi Pro League competition. because after all, Europe's top league has always been the dream of football players all over the world.

The truth is that I have a lot of faith in these teams in the Saudi Arabian League , because if we look at it, if it weren't for this league we wouldn't be giving away a CR7 who is at his full potential, to a Mane that they didn't value him Either, we wouldn't have a Neymar who was giving his all at Al Hilal , so we wouldn't be able to see so many stars who have also come to bet on this football, they were on teams from their local countries to the point to retire and live like some old people , like Rooney who looks like he's 80, so in this football these stars who are really good are given the value they have , Apart from the fact that they have a very good performance, because CR7 is very good in Portugal , Neymar already scored two goals in the World Cup qualifiers, so it means that these leagues do not lower the level of these players, a Messi who unfortunately went to an MLS league where he is Made to retire, but in fact that It is what he wants, in this order of ideas it can also be said that this league will be one of the greatest in the world, and be careful if it will not be better than the one in Europe.

Some say no, but I think Europe should be careful and even afraid that their league will not be as popular if it is there, what every footballer likes about Europe is that they can play in the UCL, because it is like a dream, Otherwise you have to ask Mbappé why he doesn't want to leave Europe for Saudi football, that's a good reason, apart from the fact that his frustrated dream is to go to Madrid, but due to his early age he couldn't leave nor did he want to leave when he had the chance Opportunity to do so, so very bad for him, but the time will come where not only the veterans nor the players who are stars that have been discarded in Europe will continue to join the Saudi League, but they will look for a way for the same young players to join. interest and want to go to this football, because there will be the whole mix of world football, so young people will be Interested, plus the payment is very good.

That's absolutely true. The Saudi Professional League continues to draw in prominent stars and is now gaining the attention of the world. So, I'm quite optimistic and confident that positive changes are on the horizon for the Saudi Professional League. We should believe in its potential.
The Saudi league is strong and competitive, featuring good teams and talented players. Even though the Chinese once tried something similar but didn't succeed, I don't think the same happening with the Saudi Arabian league.
Saudi Pro League have enter the limelight of elite football leagues in the world, it's just a matter of time for been popular and competitive with European football which is their ultimate targets to reach. SPL made the good run in signing prominent big names from Europe, first it was Cristiano Ronaldo and they also aimed at Leo Messi, he actually turned down the offer and move to another league. SPL clubs keep pressuring and making crucial signings this summer, we just hoped they don't end up like China Football which actually offered gigantic salaries for players and at the end of the day, they couldn't meetup the quality standard of football which is required.
The UCL thing would be the most important part, that is what I am waiting for. Considering Cyprus, Armenia, and Israel are all out of Europe and yet plays in UCL, that means Saudi could too, do not know what really decides it, what makes them European that others are not, but I feel like Saudi could do this too. In that regard, considering this league is filled with star players, it doesn't matter if they play well or play terribly.

Because if you have Real Madrid vs Al-Nassr game, even if it's in group stages, you are going to get a lot of views, a lot more than some game like City vs redstar or whatever that team is called. This is why it should be considered, it's definitely a profitable idea to say the least.

Al Ittihad should win this league.  Al Ittihad side is back on track, as usual, but Al Akhdoud gave it their all.
Karim Benzema has done it again, delivering a late winner to confirm their place at the top of the Saudi Pro League. This is Karim's third goal in the Saudi Pro League this season. He is likely to finish as the top goalscorer in the Saudi Arabian league.

This is what I don't like with the Saudi Professional League. There are 4 very strong teams and then 14 very weak teams. That means that the vast majority of the matches will be one-sided. Only the matches between the top-4 teams are going to be close. Obviously there are teams that are not sponsored by the Saudi Arabian    Public Investment Fund, such as Al-Ettifaq who can compete with the smaller teams, but that is not the case with the vast majority. I believe that this is the biggest negative of the Saudi Professional League as of now.

It's not as bad as you think, man. You can check the current standings, what kind of team is in third position, whether the team in third position also a big team with many star players in the squad? In fact not at all, because anyway in third place right now is Al Taawon which is basically Al Taawon is a mediocre team when compared to the big teams you mean. But the truth is, Al Taawon has so far managed to come through without a loss and in fact, Al Taawon has also beaten Al Nassr in the previous few matches.

In addition, in this moment also there is an ongoing match between Al Akhdoud against Al Ittihad but in fact, Al Akhdoud is also able to provide good resistance in this match. Because anyway, the match has running until the 70th minute but the score is still 0-0, despite the fact that Al Ittihad played Benzema, Kante and several other star players. So with that said, the Saudi Pro League is not as bad as you might think, as there is still good competition in this league too.
Well right, it's not what we think, maybe some of us think with the current situation, SPL is like Ligue 1 which is only dominated by Psg because the strength of the Psg team is far above its competitors, yes it happens because of their very strong financial factors. But the fact is that SPL does not work that way, Al Nassr alone as the pioneer of recruiting European players they lost in the first 2 matches, it proves that they have players with a luxurious squad, in fact they are not that terrible. And even before this movement, there were only a few clubs that looked so strong like Al Hilal for example.

Every footballer is playing because of money and that is why you see that they keep n moving from one club to another for a bigger offer. I don't think that I have seen a professional footballer that during his reign, he left his present club that pays higher, to a club that pays lesser, without saying that he had problems with his club.
Almost most football players who have entered an age that is not very productive or in other words their performance is not like at the peak of their career glory will choose the path you said. But you can see the example of Sergio Ramos who rejected a big offer from Saudi Arabia and chose the club Originally, even though the salary wasn't big. Only this year the issue of money has become a big topic because Saudi Arabia has indicated that money is everything and previously there were only a few players who were able to break the record for the most expensive transfer.

Ronaldo went for the money because that was the only way, he can use to console himself and create awareness on the first page of the sport news paper. Ronaldo was the one that opened the eyes of other players to make them hunger for fat pay because if you get paid for just two years, you can retire with a good pay off.
Ronaldo had difficulty finding a club at that time because he had problems with Manchester United management and in addition there was no club that wanted to bear the burden of Ronaldo's huge salary. So even though it was done for money, perhaps other issues should also be looked at because at that time Ronaldo had no choice but to decide to accept Al Nassr's offer. Unless he is willing to accept a small salary offer like Sergio Ramos and maybe there is a club that is willing to accommodate him.
