Several Saudi clubs have contributed to strengthening the league and making it more Competitive by signing these top players around the world and their current champion Al-ittihad are not left out, they're trying to retain the league title and buy doing so they'll really need to strengthen their squad just like others have dine.
So far in the transfer window this summer they tried to lure Several players into their team of which some deals didn't fall in place, buy they signed players like Benzema, N'golo Kante,Fabrizio, Fabinho and Jota to add to the local side players in their team but according to the news they've currently welcome Felipe Luiz into their team, he'll make a very fine player for them and strengthen their backline with his defensive skills, but i feel they'll find it a little difficult winning the league title tgis season because Al-Hilal seem like favorites to do so and are currently toping the league.
Ittihad will try to be better, by recruiting more Europa players to retain the league title. Luiz Felipe may could be a good player to strengthen Ittihad defense, although this Italy player is not too old, but he has enough experience. If play in this league, I think it is not really difficult for him. Considering also he is not too old, then there is a possibility he can develop to be better. Also maybe can return to any club at Europa again, I mean there is still a chance for him. If he can have a good performance, then there is a possibility that clubs in Europa are interested to recruit him. Anyhow, this league is not over yet, I mean although Al Hilal is the favorite but there is still a chance for Ittihad to return to the top position.

I think Al Ittihad can be very scary after they get a player like Luiz Felipe. Because we know Al Ittihad got many famous superstar players from Europe in this summer to have better forwards.
Now after they hired Luiz Felipe, their only weakness in the defense line will be improved and now they can be a stronger team to race with Al Hilal for the title at the end of this season.

No team without proper European talents are winning anything this season. Any team that is ending the season at the top will have a lot of great European players they bought this season, I am not talking about European players they got before neither, or lets say non-Saudi players, the team that wins the league this year will be a team that spend hundreds of millions of dollars this summer.
I agree with you, they didn’t just sign European players, they signed talented players who will be able to improve their teams performance, and I already see differences in the clubs performance. I notice that the clubs that spent more money on signing European players are performing better than the ones that didn’t spend much money. But I am sure the clubs that didn’t spend much will also put up a good fight also, but the clubs that signed quality players will be able to perform better since they have experience already. But with time, Saudi clubs will start building their own home base players.

Neymar not playing that many games is definitely normal because that is who he is.
Cheesy He is really who he is. His new Saudi club know his profile well before they brought him in to the club, they know his benefits even off the pitch for their league. Him moving there will have a good effect on even Brazilians to want choose to want to play in the league.

Anytime he can play, he will put in his best.

I do not know if that is the case here as well, I do not know if he is injured or not, maybe he just lacks match shape and condition, but at the end of the day do not expect many games from him as fans, because he is going to miss many games and will not be playing in a lot of games.

Why do you believe Neymar will miss so many games? do you think the competition in this league is tougher than Ligue1? this is a discussion thread but your opinion cannot be confirmed. We've talked about Neymar before and he's past his injury as we know he is already actively playing with Brazil, if you want to know Neymar's current condition you can watch it here BRASIL vs. BOLIVIA Neymar scored 2 goals in this match and we have no doubts about his condition when he plays with Al-Hilal next week. What is certain is that Al-Hilal carried out a medical test before signing him obviously they won't spend much money if he just sits on the bench.

For the fact that we know that Neymar is an injury player does not mean that he does not have enough time to play. When Neymar was in Barcelona, he played a lot of matches, even when he was in PSG. He played a lot of matches and he even plays good matches of Brazil's national team unless for few occasions that he will be injured before the tournament finishes and most time he will return to play the final stages of the tournament. He cannot be a liability to his new club. He will have time to play, also the competition in the Arabia Pro League is not much and besides from the sales of jersy of Naymer, the club can still make a lot of money.

That’s most likely but a team with less European players may suprise us also. The league will be so competitive this time around but it doesn’t mean that a team with more spending will be the winner of the competition because even in Europe we have witnessed teams spend so much and still end up not performing to expectations. Take Chelsea as an example, they spend a lot last season and ended 12th on the table and they even spend more this season and so far they are still struggling this season. Likewise PSG, they had a front 3 of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe with some other great players and still couldn’t win the champions league as we all expected so that’s just football. Even after spending so much and buying great players if the players don’t blend well and understand each other well they won’t be able to perform well so you can’t say a team that spends 100 of millions this summer will win the league, there is every possibility of other teams winning it as well.
Now I agree with you on this, bringing in a lot of European players doesn't guarantee that they will be successful, but of course the impact of the arrival of European players will make the league more competitive. I like it when you make comparisons like with Chelsea who spend a lot of money, but in terms of the game it's like there's no change. Also Paris Saint Germain who recruited a lot of star players, but they can't talk more when they compete with stronger clubs in Europe.

The players who have arrived will gradually lose form and will not play as they used to, because the teams and the championship itself do not match the level. We can talk about a really good level when the teams will consist of more than 50% European players, not otherwise. This is necessary in order to maintain just the high level of the game and the level of the players themselves

How much money receive the winner of the Saudi Arab League? Its gonna be interesting this number to see, for two main things, one its i think most of the money its part of the crown, and two because i dont think for Tv revenue they earn so much. Or this its gonna chance in the near future?

according to this website:

The winners, Al-Ittihad FC will receive SR5 million ($1.3 million) in 2023.

source: https://thesportsgrail.com/saudi-pro-league-2023-winner-prize-money-and-how-much-did-al-hilal-make-for-winning/

According to what I've read, in the past this league has had many problems paying players' salaries, so the government decided to create a fund for signing players, coaches and their salaries. This fund is managed by the government which has 75% power over the main teams, despite Saudi Arabia being a very oil-rich country and having had many years of earning money, this model that the government has put in place for soccer, particularly for this their league, is a model that in the long term will fail, this is because the league and the teams are not sustainable in themselves, they are hostage to the government, they are owned and managed by the government. So this government control will cause the lack of salary payments and interest in other players to play in that league again

Ronaldo was a signing to attract more players, but Ronaldo will retire in a few years, he is currently 38 years old, so at 41 years old he will not be able to play frequently, also Neymar is a player who currently easily gets injured , so in a few years his situation will get even worse, so he will have to retire, other players who went to this league will have difficulties with the customs of this country, which is a dictator country and has a lot of control over its citizens, especially for the women who have been reduced to nothing in this country

I've been reading a lot of articles that talk about the problems and laws of this country, and from what I see, this government movement will fail within 3 years, when all of this year's players' contracts end, that's because the problem is that the government of Saudi Arabia does not have laws that are fair and that come close to the laws of democratic countries, so a player who takes his wife and children to Saudi Arabia will be condemning his wife and children, with time the current players will realize this and as they will have already won a lot money will leave this league as soon as his contract expires

I can't wait to see al hilal to play with the strongest squad. Al hilal was able destroying ittihad even without him. The club will become even stronger with neymar to play as a winger.
Mitrokovic has been performing greatly in the last match against ittihad. I can't even wait for his debut with al hilal soon. It will become a hype moment for all hilal fans to see neymar play together with some great players like mitrokovic.

We can hope that if neymar will not be facing another injury. His injury prone was just reminding me with pogba from juventus which was always getting constant injury.
Al hilal has paid a lot of money to buy him from PSG. It will be disappointed to see neymar get another injury.
Mitrovic was a very good striker at Fulham, he even scored 43 goals in the championship, he really showed in this game how good a finisher he is and proved that he is worth the 50 million pounds Al Hilal paid. Mitrovic is an underrated, A+ striker who is undervalued in the world. This guy should have played for big clubs in Europe, it's a shame that such a great striker is really underrated. The main teams in Saudi Arabia create really good atmospheres and the grounds are of incredible quality. Al Hilal really fought until the end and won the match Mitrovic is an incredible ball player, I wonder how he didn't go to a big team, it was a very good match.

This is according to Wikipedia with the Arab Champions League Cup prize - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Arab_Club_Champions_Cup
But for the Saudi Professional League prize we didn't find any data, probably not that far above.

According to other news the Saudi Professional League gets a lot of airtime this is more than 100+ some say 130 and there are also 170 countries broadcasting it.

I will also look forward to Neymar appearing to make the best contribution to his current club and Al-Hilal fans certainly also want Neymar to be able to fully recover soon after that he can always appear with his current club and this will be very good news when Neymar can always compete with Al-Hilal there will definitely be an improvement in terms of Al-Hilal's performance and it will be very interesting to watch because European stars will perform optimally in the Saudi Arabian league this season.
It will be even more exciting if one day Al-Hilal can compete against Al-Nassr when Ronaldo will meet Neymar and we will see a competitive match.
I wonder why they've not featured him yet or is that they brought him into the club with an injury and he's yet to recover from it ? because if you get a player for that amount them he's not supposed to sidelined at the bench else it would be a waste of funds, well Neymar is an injury prone player so I won't be surprised if he's sidelined because of an injury and he's a kind of player that goes on an for a long period and don't know why they got him for that amount.
Well asides from his injury woes Neymar is a very brilliant footballer, so skillful and talented and is a fine addition to any team and a player everyone would love to watch due to his entertainment style of football he plays, a dribbler that's good at what he does and I believe he'll make a fine player for Al-Hilal, a match that involves Neymar and Cr7 playing against eachother would be very interesting and would drag alot of viewers to it, I believe that's one of the reasons the Saudi league decided to spend so much to get this top players to help develop their league and attract more viewers.

Several sources say that last season Al-Ittihad as champions received around $ 1.2 million and for this season we don't have any information yet but it is estimated that the prizes will increase. Last month Al-Nassr won the Arab Club Champions Cup the total prize is $10 million 1st place $6 Million, 2nd place $2.5 Million and the rest are for other positions, if other competitions have prizes up to $10 million, the Saudi Pro League is at least close to the same prize imo. This season the Saudi Pro League is more special than previous seasons so everything related to prizes, sponsorships and income should also increase.

Even though Al-Ittihad's squad wasn't as ambitious last season, they did pretty well in the Saudi Professional League and won the title. They are perhaps on their way to becoming the best in the league with the transfers they made to guarantee everything this year. For now, the points in the league are very close and it looks like Al-ittihad can take control of the leadership in the coming weeks. Other teams with strong forward and midfield lines have superstars as well, yes, but the team and Al-Itthiad as a whole are among the favorites this year. Let's see if we can see any surprise teams or something. It has been an interesting league this year.

Yeah Al-Ittihad is one of the strong candidates to secure the title this season but the chances are still the same as the other 4 clubs moreover this competition still has many matches ahead so that each club can still take over. For now, our focus is still on Al-Hilal because until now they have not been defeated moreover they have the most complete squad in the League including Neymar who will play in the near future, we don't know when Neymar will be able to play, but it is certain that against Al-Nassr Neymar will be in the line up.

The Al Hilal Fans were waiting to see Neymar playing in the game against Al Ittihad because that game was really important for them. But he was absent from that game because he was injured and now Neymar had good news for Al Hilal fans. He said he wanted to play in the game against Al Ittihad but he was injured and now he is ready for the game against Al Riyadh.

Most of the teams in the Saudi league are buying players from Europe at huge prices to compete with the rest of the league.
You bring here for example the English Premier League or Ligue 1 where Chelsea and PSG are mentioned. Chelsea is not having good success despite spending huge amount of money because other teams in English Premier League are very strong and spending money alone does not make a team good, besides spending money we have to look at how the team spent money. It is Chelsea's failure to buy good players with huge sums of money.

On the other hand psg spent a lot of money and they won the Ligue 1 title every season, but their dream was to win Europe but their investment failed because they did not strengthen the midfield of the team.

If we come to the words of the Saudi League, we will see that the top clubs of the Saudi League have bought the best players from Europe. Since there is competition in the Saudi league, I believe this league will gain a lot of popularity very quickly.
The large budget expenditure by Saudi clubs is an effort to boost the quality of the league to make it more competitive, which will ultimately make the Saudi Pro League the best league in the Asian region. To become the mecca of world football like the European leagues, it requires at least four to five countries making the same efforts. At the moment it clearly doesn't make sense to compare the expenditure of EPL and Ligue 1 clubs with SPL clubs, because in substance the SPL has just started the first stage, namely making the League Competitive.

Media branding thanks to the arrival of world star players makes the SPL image more popular, thus causing sponsors to come and ultimately become the club income. If PIF funds go to all clubs in the SPL, you can be sure that Saudi efforts to build the League will not be in vain and will be realized in a short time.

If Al Taawon can maintain its good performance and results throughout this season, then surely Al Taawon will also have a chance to be able to finish in the top two. Indeed, anything can still happen, especially Al Taawon is not an elite team in the Saudi pro league which is very possible for Al Taawon to fall from time to time. But somehow, in reality Al Taawon has the same good results as Al Hilal at this moment. Therefore, of course it would be great and extraordinary if Al Taawon could be in elite competition in the top zone in the Saudi Pro League standings, and I hope Al Taawon will be the surprise team this season.
Unpredictable with Al Taawon success managed on 2nd standings position awhile in Saudi Pro League competition although they not signed many star player like other teams. Have won 4 of 5 games and get one draw is quit well performance from Al Taawon and success defeated Cristiano Ronaldo teams Al Nassr on second match.
But Saudi Pro League competition still too long and all possibilities could happening depend how consistency Al Taawon performance, if can consistent and winning for several matches later actually is most excited with Al Taawon not favorite teams success leaded on top standings position. Personally its great competition behind four top teams are favorite for winning Saudi Pro League in this season after success signing many top European footballs.

I agree with you, a club can have quality players but wouldn't be able to out perform other clubs that don't have such quality players. Let's take PSG for example last season was a mess for them with all the superstars that they had they couldn't play well in the champions league. Same with the SPL clubs,it is not to have hood players but also to have a quality coach who will guide and direct these players to bring out the best performance in them. I don't know if they can buy some European coaches and let see if these coaches will  go to Saudi to change the football pattern over there. The European players will draw more attention to SPL and it will be more competitive than before as we have all seen it.

I think even if Al-Hilal is without Neymar, they will still be the strongest team in the Saudi league. The reason is quite clear with the presence of several European players who previously strengthened Al-Hilal and currently there are no problems. Even if Neymar only spends his career on the bench at Al-Hilal, that doesn't matter because Al-Hilal invested by taking advantage of his huge name as one of the best European players. That's why there are no regrets from Al-Hilal even though Neymar rarely plays due to injury. Even so, we certainly still hope that Neymar will appear more often to defend Al-Hilal, especially since yesterday we also saw him recover from injury while defending Brazil against Bolivia.

Therefore, of course it would be great and extraordinary if Al Taawon could be in elite competition in the top zone in the Saudi Pro League standings, and I hope Al Taawon will be the surprise team this season.

IMO, Al Taawoun is in a very good moment. even after they were able to overthrow Al Nassr, they progressed with a positive trend in the next three matches. so, the question is, can they maintain their consistency until the end of this season. remember, Pericles Chamusca's squad does not have players with big star names. in fact, some of their players are dominated by local players. However, in their five matches this season, they have performed quite well. Uniquely, Al Taawoun only conceded two goals in their 5 matches.

However, it will not be easy for Al Taawoun to maintain their consistency and maintain their ranking on the standings. in the 3rd or 4th ranking position, there are Al Ittihad, Al-Ahli and even Al Nassr who are ready to replace the position that Al Taawoun currently occupies. In the 6th week, Al Taawoun will visit Al-Ahli headquarters, and it will not be an easy matter to overthrow this team. and what is certain is that Firmino and his colleagues are ready to face Al Taawoun in the next match, in fact they are ready to shift the ranking occupied by Al Taawoun. So, let's just wait and see, will Al Taawoun be able to provide as fierce resistance as when they fought Al Nassr. Interesting isn't it, so let's just wait.
