The unbelievable and surprising amount of money that was spent on the summer transfer window by Saudi Arabian clubs didn't happen as a sudden event to the Saudi clubs. I think they knew what they were doing because they wanted shock the footballing world by making those signings and changing the direction of interest from football fans from Europe to the Middle East.
They succeeded in selling the Saudi Pro League to almost all the corners of the world with those transfer deals. Now the Saudi Pro League is one of the most popular leagues in the world and that's a great achievement.

Regarding League rankings we haven't got the latest release yet but if we refer to last season's data the Saudi Pro League ranking is under 60th it's far from the best league category moreover they have not won international competitions such as AFC and others, for the most popular league category maybe the Saudi Pro League is in the top 10 in these 2 seasons they got a lot of attention and views. I think this is what the owner wants to get a lot of attention as well as promotion for hosting the World Cup and property investment.

Saudi Arabia Pro League is trying to make big change in the football history with its teams signing deal with leading football stars from different European clubs. It all started with Ronaldo and a big list of players have come into the Saudi Arabia Pro League. With the summer window closing Saudi Arabia Pro League clubs have spent £784 million on players. Among that 87% was spend by the four clubs Al Hilal, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad.

The budget should be higher, even reaching £1 Billion it's just that some of the targeted players refused/ignored the offer like Neymar the most expensive and others. Even though they have spent that much money, they haven't stopped as if to show that their spending targets have not been achieved, I estimate they prepared 2 Billion to bring in all the star players that doesn't include salary  Cheesy even though we know that in 2-4 years it cannot be guaranteed that they will get a return but they are confident.

Yes, what these clubs are doing is crazy but at least, if there were no such clubs with rich ownership also the Saudi Pro League would not be as popular as the moment. Therefore, when they have managed to bring Ronaldo as a soccer icon. Then of course, it makes their way easy for these rich clubs to continue to bring in star players and other great players from Europe. So, since history has been made then of course, over time the Saudi Pro League clubs will continue this trend every time the transfer window opens.
They are confident in what they are doing, and yes they should be, when they do something there should be no doubts, because if that happens (they doubt what they are doing) then I think it will have a bad impact on them. One of them will regret spending a lot of money to make a big transfer.
I think they've gotten one of the benefits of their big move, which is that they're more popular than ever. Maybe those here previously didn't know what the SPL was like and now that many star players have gone there, people will slowly look at them.

Getting the 2030 world cup would definitely be a profitable business for them if they can pull it off but even with all the money that they are spending right now, and the money they are going to spend to build a system for it, the profit will not be that big for them, it is not going to be that simple.

I believe that the yare just sportwashing their crimes and nothing more, they want to look better for the west, they are not a western nation but they want to show that they are not a BRICS nation and still doing what west would want. All those teams they bought at the west was a proof of that, now they are doing that in their own nation as well and that should be important too and doing fine at the moment.

Yes, one way for the Saudi Pro League to become more popular is to consistently recruit great and famous players
I agree with you completely on this. Bringing in big names will surely make the league very popular but it's gonna take some time to gain that deep global penetration. One other aspect that will determine, to a large extent, the success of this their new approach is how much they are willing to ease some of their restrictions and make it easier for people from other culture and religion to feel at home.

Mohamed Salah is a Muslim player, which makes him the most likely to move to the Saudi league, considering various aspects. Al Ittihad seems to offer Salah better money as well as more facilities and for the Muslim nation Salah is certainly keen to join. I think Salah will probably join Al Ittihad, he will definitely go to the Saudi leagues as a player in the Muslim world. It would be a compliment for him to join Al Ittihad as a Muslim. Muslims all over the world would want Salah to play at a Saudi club, and the Muslim star would certainly show more interest in going there.
Mohamed Salah moving to Suadi will be one of the best decision he can make regarding his career. Ever since Sadio Mane moved to Bayern Munic, M.Salah have not been the goal scoring machine we used to know. Now thatMane have moved to Al Nassr to join Christiano Ronaldo , I think Salah will make a wonderful addition to the team instead of Al Ittihad; just imagine how lethal the trio will be.

Understanding the times is very important for every professional footballer. I remembered when the wave of China movement blew, some players keyed into it and retired with large bank accounts. Now is the time of Saudi blank cheque, every smart player that have made a name in Europe should embrace this opportunity to remain in the news.
I fully support this statement but there is no need to consistently recruit European players and it would be better for Saudi Arabian clubs to have their own academics like European clubs which develop new talent with reliable talents and of course genuine players from Saudi Arabia and I have said this before and several People also agree that if the Saudi Pro League wants to be more popular, it must recruit great players, but it will be even greater if it is balanced with efforts to build talent from academics.
I am sure that this effort will provide additional value to the SPL because it can bring in great players from Europe and can also build reliable players from academics itself without having to continually rely on European players.

Their talent alone will certainly be a benefit for them and for the whole league, there is no question about that, but that is not the only reason why they had offered these enormous amounts to these players even if there are no guarantees in the end because they are also after are the image that comes with the acquisition, exposure and specially, the player's fan bases that also comes with it.

Saudi have so far this season added 94 foreign players to their squads, of which 37 have come from various European clubs. If the league club Al Ittihad could have added Mohamed Salah to the squad it would have been a great achievement for them but they have failed.

I heard that European clubs are now calmer because since the transfer window closed they are no longer worried about losing their mainstay players, as we know the players continue to be tempted with tempting offers Liverpool and Manchester City are clubs that are always wary of these offers. In the next transfer window Mohamed Salah is Al-Ittihad main target they know that Salah wants to find new experiences, especially since Salah is also used to the culture of the Saudi league I mean the country is no different from Saudi Arabia, there are many similarities.
Mohamed Salah Hamed Ghaly contract at Liverpool will end in 2025, and if M. Salah does not renew his contract it seems like Liverpool must to sell Salah if they want to make an advantage in next season transfer window. As you said, M. Salah is already used to the culture of the Saudi, considering that he also comes from Egypt, their culture is the same yes. And surely he really wants to play in Saudi, apart from that is big money, also he can compete with other old superstar players. Saudis crazy project is the best this season they recruited lots of Europa players, incredible if they can do it again next season.

We know the Saudi teams usually try to get what they want by spending too much money and every palyer usually gets attracted when they spend a huge amount of money, They tried to hire Salah from Liverpool but they failed, however Sauids was really close to having the agreement but in the end, Salah tried in Liverpool. Now the next project will be Lewandowski who is a goal-scoring machine in Barcelona and I'm sure Barcelona will not lose this player easily even in the next summer when he gets older.

Salah was interested in a move, but Liverpool did not agree due to the fact that they obviously did not have an adequate replacement for this player. Maybe by next summer they will find a replacement and then sell him for a profit. Lewandowski will be 36 next summer, I think Barcelona will get rid of him easily because even now his performance is far from what was expected when he moved to Barcelona.

It is likely that Lewandowski will end his career at Barcelona where he and his family feel very comfortable. Currently, I see he is still hungry for titles. Lewandowski did not take any action to show that he wanted to leave Barcelona. Lewandowski craves titles more than Saudi Arabia's money.
Indeed, after his contract with Barcelona ended, he wondered if he wanted to continue playing. He would think again if there were any offers from Saudi Arabia then.

I want to see what big move are gonna see in this summer window, the last one we have the Cristiano Ronaldo one, but that was a strange window because of World CUp and other things.

This year i think we can see some player who go out early from Champions or something like that arriving on Saudi league.

If Saudi Arabian clubs are to go for important players like Mohamed salah and Lewandowski. They should do so during the open transfer window such that the clubs that this important players will be leaving will have time to buy replacement for this great players. In order to farewell in the season. You cannot just come when the transfer window has ended and decided to take away the goal-scoring machines of two clubs that are seriously competing in the European competitions.
I believe that what they did  is to give this players green light, telling them that they will come back for them by the next open window in January.

The Saudi Arabia league had give good offer to many players, both Mohamad and Lewandowski got good offer from the Saudi Arabia Club. The Saudi Arabia club also take care of the replacement of the player, if any of them leave the game. The players of Saudi Arabia club will get back to the European Club, this is not the end of the game after the finals. They will back to Saudi Arabia club again and make some another knock after the January month. The powerful players will get huge demand in the league matches. So we can wait for the play of this dtar players in the European league.

Lewandowski and Salah are top priorities of clubs in Saudi Arabia. After having three big star players, Ronaldo, Benzema and Neymar, they are targeting younger players like Salah. They failed in this summer but I believe they will return to Europe with other offers in next transfer. If their plan is for World Cup 2030, they will continue to spend money to improve quality of their league with hope that it will help their local players to learn from those legendary players then increasing quality and competitiveness of their national team.

As I said in another post, Lewandowski stated that he had received a big offer from one of the Suadi clubs. However, he said on that occasion that he rejected it and wanted to stay with Barcelona. I don't know why Lewandowski is really attracted to this giant Spanish club, he has also said on several occasions that he is not interested in moving to another club and will probably end his career at Camp Nou. as a Barcelona fan, I was very happy to hear what was said Lewandowski. although, when the time comes, Lewandowski could change his decision and accept an offer from one of the giant Saudi clubs. Despite all that, I'm still happy wherever he goes to change clubs.

However, there are several other names that are still being targeted by Saudi clubs in the coming season or winter transfer window. I suspect Mo Salah will leave for Al Ittihad, maybe in the winter window, or next season. and Liverpool will let him go. However, in the previous transfer window, this would not be realized. because Klopp still really needs his services.
Next there will be many more newcomers who will leave for the Saudi Pro League, I think they still have the ambition to enliven this League to become a concern in the eyes of the international world.

Saudi Arabia is trying to control in club football, which is not easy. They want their league to be one of the biggest leagues in the world. They are moving towards that goal. Though It was not possible for any other country to make such a history of investing a lot of money. They have already got some remarkable players and many are getting offers there as well. Gradually but certainly the positive attitude of the players towards Saudi is coming. The Cubs are attracting Saudi players to the league by providing them with all kinds of facilities they deserve.

Saudi have so far this season added 94 foreign players to their squads, of which 37 have come from various European clubs. If the league club Al Ittihad could have added Mohamed Salah to the squad it would have been a great achievement for them but they have failed.
