Al-Nassr sack Luis Castro: Who could be the new boss of Cristiano Ronaldo?

Big changes could be coming at the club of Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr, with reports suggesting the Saudi club is on the verge of hiring former AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli.

This comes after the club officially sacked their current manager, Luis Castro, following a tough start to the season.

The news has Ronaldo fans buzzing, wondering if the Portuguese legend will soon be working under a new coach who could reignite Al-Nassr’s campaign.

Castro’s departure follows a series of underwhelming results, with Al-Nassr struggling to find their form across all competitions. A 1-1 draw in their latest AFC Champions League clash against Al-Shorta only added to the pressure.

Everyone seems to have guessed that in the end Luis Castro would leave Al-Nassr. Because with some results that are not so positive, of course it is very natural that Al-Nassr wants to get a new coach who can be expected to bring better changes. Almost every season we seem to see a change of coach at Al-Nassr. The conditions are also the same as Al-Ittihad, which also changes coaches quite often. but the difference is that Luis Castro's departure still seems to get respect from everyone. Because this coach wasn't that bad, but he also couldn't bring Al-Nassr to a better game strategy. So parting ways with Luis Castro was the solution in the end.

In general, high salaries are the main attraction for every player in any league, thank God if they can achieve success with the team they defend, so that they become more famous. The Saudi Pro League took an instant path to expand its fan base, by recruiting star players like Ronaldo, everything they want will follow automatically. Ronaldo is used as a role model to convince other European players to be easy to recruit, and that is a pretty smart move so far. I am sure that every club that recruits former European players, and pays fantastic salaries will not lose, because there are many sources of profit obtained by the club.

I think in the future the Saudi Pro League will develop to be more competitive, the number of clubs recruiting European players continues to increase, so the competition for trophies will be fiercer. Meanwhile, for clubs under the auspices of the PIF, they will not have financial difficulties, their resources are unlimited. It is very possible that in the future they will acquire more clubs in the top five European leagues, not only focusing on developing domestic competitions.

It's a fact, things are like that in this league, good salaries are a big attraction, even so for players in Europe who are booming and are very good, I'm sure that they will at least think about whether to go or not to this Saudi league, it's a question of them, besides I see that this league is growing at a great speed and that translates to them playing good football, although to be honest they haven't shown it much lately, not like they did in QATAR, so I think that the arrival of so many good players in the League will make the Saudis learn from their Technique in Europe.

Oh come on, even though Al Hilal is not strengthened by Neymar for the reason of injury absence or sanctions or whatever, but they are still one of the teams in the star-studded Arab League.

In the front line there is Mitrovic, in the middle there is the duo of Milinkovic-Savic and Neves, in the back line in the Koulibaly commander, and the goalkeeper there is Bono whose career is very brilliant with Sevilla and Morocco.

I think with or without Neymar, Al Hilal will still dominate, because Al Nassr is also still Cristiano Ronaldo's centric and even they have the arrival of Joao Cancelo to end the season. But again, this is football. Anything can happen.
Al-Hilal is still strong without Neymar. because Al-hilal also started last season very well without Neymar and then throughout last season we also saw how extraordinary Al-hilal was even without Neymar. So Neymar's figure at Al-Hilal does not really affect the team's performance. But still big name star players like Neymar have played an important role in raising Al-Hilal's big name and also making the appeal of the SPL even better.

This is different from Al-Nassr which is dependent on Cristiano Ronaldo. Where when Cristiano Ronaldo is absent we always see Al-Nassr experiencing a decline.

we won't know whether Al-nassr will be champions or not in the SPL this season because in this season I see Al-nassr's strength, it seems like there are no surprising changes and it is proven that they have competed 3 times, only winning 1 match, namely against Al-Feiha. now Al-nassr only sits in 7th place in the temporary standings and of course hard work is needed to be able to compete with Al-hilal because Al-hilal is now in 1st place in the temporary standings and of course mentally it will definitely make Al-hilal enthusiastic to maintain its position. is ranked 1st.

Al-Nassr's last match against Al-Ahli, I thought Al-Ahli would be defeated by Al-Nassr, but in reality it was a shame that the match ended in a 1-1 draw and of course Al-Nassr couldn't get many points and to be honest, this will definitely happen. making some people disappointed with the draw result of the match.
Is it only in 3 matches at the beginning like this will be doubt for football team to be able to compete for the title? After all there are still many matches ahead and surprising changes we can see after this and I sure that Al Nassr is team that can compete for the title at the end of the season.
I think we just need to be patient and wait for how Al Nassr develops in the next few matches, after all in football anything can happen, maybe now Al Nassr can't win all the matches and is different from the other 3 top team but in the future maybe those 3 team will have difficulties and Al Nassr can achieve success.

In that match Al Nassr did fail to win but at least they could still get additional point and that not so bad, the most important thing is that Al Nassr did not get defeat that made them not save single point from the match.

Of course not, and of course there is definitely still a chance for all SPL clubs to be able to win the title including Al-Nassr and of course at the start of a season like this where all clubs have only had 3 matches, it can still be said that there is a chance for all teams to be able to win. become champion.

I also think that Al-Nassr certainly still has a big chance of being able to compete for the championship title, but yes, I see that Al-Nassr certainly won't easily rise from its current position, but of course we'll see what happens next.

If you think about it, that's true, yes, and indeed Al-Nassr has not experienced a defeat so far and of course getting a draw is also certainly not a bad thing because of course they can still get points, even if only a little. Of course we'll see what happens in the next match and of course in the next match Al-Nassr will face Al-Ettifaq and of course we will see Cristiano Ronaldo trying to perform better so that Al-Nassr wins the title this season. What do you think, who will win?

I think Neymar is a big fraud to Al-Hilal, despite the multi million contract deal he signed with the club, he's only played 5 times and won up to 5 trophies. Well asides that I don't think Al-Hilal would even depend on Neymar if he was still presently active in the club, his presence would be a boost but without him they're capable of winning games  and defeating top rivals since they still got other star players in the squad there's no point going further cause you've mentioned them already that enough should be able to convince anyone that Al-Hilal's squad is okay with or without Neymar. Al-Nassr's squad is in good shape too despite that Ronaldo has helped them improve better, they added some quality players in several areas to so they should be able to survive in the league without Ronaldo.

No doubt Neymar is a big name in the team but he needs to be a part of the team in order to have an impact in the team. When Al Hilal Saudi Football Club, announces the team for the match and Neymar is not included in the team (due to injury), it gives a moral boost to the other team as they know that their main player is not playing. Although Malcom,  Aleksandar Mitrović and Marcos Leonardo are good forwards for the team and can win matches too but we can't say that they are of the same capability as of Neymar.

The thing that hurts Al-Hilal most is that they have to pay him the high contract money and he is not playing for them too. How unfortunate.

Well until now the only team who have achieved anything despite being without his super star is the Al Hilal, they win everything and command in the league like they are the team to beat, and i repeat all of this without his key star and most valuable and expensive player who is Neymar.

The other arab teams incluiding Al Nassr, are in full debt and they win nithing special.

The remaining time will see Al-Nassr take every opportunity that presents itself to avoid going down. The chase will be at a very high rate of pressure to ensure catching up, more so when the standings soon are starting to be threatened.
It should have been a good start to Ivan Tooney's career in his number 99 shirt at Al Ahli, And he would have been okay with helping his team to get three points from this game against Al Nassr even though he cannot score. The last minute equalizer for Al Nassr from an own goal took away all the joy that would have followed. Al Ahli will not be so happy with how they have started this season with them having just three points in just three games despite the team of talented players that they have.
Al Nassr are far from the top of the table, they need to sit up.
Now they are in 7th position with a gap of 4 points from the top of the standings, that is still a safe distance as long as they can recover quickly and get points in the next matches. There are still many matches because this is only the 3rd week, so they still have many opportunities to return to the top competition, as long as they have to do what I said before.
Now AL Nassr seems to be declining a little, that is because they have not been able to fix what has been their weakness in the last few seasons. There are many things that they have to fix quickly, this will be the coach's job. I think if the coach cannot bring a good game for Al Nassr soon, then his position will be threatened, so that should be a motivation for the coach.
I think this is a bit of a bad start for Al Nassr because this club is not at the top of the standings even though usually Al Nassr is always in the title hunt with Al Hilal and Al Ittihad but this club is now in 7th place with a difference of 4 points from Al Ittihad and Al Hilal, indeed 4 points is not too big points but if they continue to lose points Al Nassr will be left further behind while Al Ittihad and also Al Hilal will probably take advantage of the opportunity as best they can and try not to lose points.

I think this season Al Nassr's performance has declined and maybe Al Nassr's hopes of winning the title are getting smaller because I see this club is having more difficulty in the hunt for the League title, in fact I see Al Ittihad improving and it seems like they will compete with Al Hilal now this club is at the top of the standings with more goals than Al Hilal.

I assumed that Al Nassr would lose the match but they saved themselves from that defeat in the last minute of the game. But the team needs to overcome their current situation. The start of this season is not good. Although they haven't lost a match, they are far behind in terms of points. They have collected a total of 5 points in 3 matches so far. First is Al-Ittihad then Al Hilal in 2nd position and Al-Ettifaq in third position are at the top with 9 points each. Fans will naturally have high expectations for the team of Ronaldo and Sadie Mane, but they are still far behind in that regard.
This season of the Saudi Pro League has not started well for Cristiano Ronaldo's club Al Nassr. This season started with a draw, Al Nassr Football Club we thought maybe they will improve their performance with time and the results will be as expected in the next matches. But no they have maintained their same performance and their game looks like they might lose in their third match we assumed they were going to lose. Al Nasser was goalless the entire time against Al Ahli Saudi Club. After 90 minutes of play B.M.Alhurayji scored a goal to save Al-Nassr club's honor in extra time.

If he hadn't scored that goal they might have been beaten and dropped a full point even would have been further down the table on points. At the moment his points are at number seven in the table which is not desirable for them as they are one of the strongest teams in the Saudi Pro League.

This is Al Nassr difficulty which is still a question for most fans and bettors even though they have star players, Al Nassr still has a lot of difficulty in competing for the title. I see Sadio Mane and Talisca performance at the beginning of this season is not very good and compared to last season, both players are much more aggressive, have great enthusiasm and from the way they play it is clear that both players are not at their best. While Ronaldo as a finisher, he needs contributions from other players to support him in scoring more to continue to get 3 points in each match. Al Nassr still needs improvement in the midfielders and this must be fixed immediately if they really want to compete with Al Hilal.

Al Nassr team definitely had enough chances to win here, but Al Nassr team can perform well in the attacking department. Sadio means he performed well enough but did not finish well, he also missed many attacks. And opposite side Shorta they are performing quite aggressively in this match. Al Nassr team made a total of 17 attacks in the whole match, and the opposite team hit the goal post with 5 attacks.  Al Nassr team drew this game even though there was such a difference in attack in this match, but in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, Al Nassr team could not use the attacks properly in this game.

Al Nassr team easily missed several attacks that at least deserved to be scored. Missing so many attacks never gives a team a chance to win which happened with Shorta team in this match. However, due to the lack of Cristiano Ronaldo in the attacking department, this match is tied, but if Cristiano Ronaldo was present, this match could have been won by a wide margin. But it was the young players of both teams who gave the most competitive game, here they were the hardest working.

The other arab teams incluiding Al Nassr, are in full debt and they win nithing special.
Al Hillal is currently an unbeaten team in two seasons of the Arab League, last season Al Hillal managed to win the Arab League title by leaving Al Nassr quite far in the standings and even they were able to win the championship trophy with 34 matches without defeat, Al Hillal unbeaten record last season continues until this season where they are still able to maintain the record, Neymar injury since the beginning of last season has not had any effect on Al Hillal game so far, so indeed what we see at Al Hillal this season  a form of extraordinary teamwork without relying on star players.

Regarding debt, to be honest, what happened to Al Nassr who is in debt seems to be an old problem that has been resolved,  Because as far as I know, if Al Nassr has not paid off the debt of 390 thousand pounds to Leicester City which was compensation for the purchase of Ahmad Musa in 2018, then currently Al Nassr cannot register its new players, but in fact currently Al Nassr can register their new players to the Arab League authorities, because previously the FIFA disciplinary committee prohibited the registration of new players if the debt had not been paid off.

yes, it's true that Al-hilal is certainly extraordinary because he can make his dreams come true even without star players playing and this seems to prove that Al-hilal really has good players and they can be relied on even without Neymar and what I admire most is Jorge Jesus always makes good strategies which of course make it difficult for opposing teams facing Al-hilal to beat Al-hilal. and it looks like if Neymar recovers and returns to playing for Al-hilal, I think Al-hilal will certainly be a club that will be even more difficult to beat.

if you look at other teams in the SPL including Al-nassr of course their dreams always don't come true and of course the one in the spotlight is Al-nassr because it has star player Cristiano Ronaldo but unfortunately Al-nassr's dreams even though their star players always perform well but Al-nassr's dreams always doesn't materialize. But of course, for this season we don't know what happens until the end of the season, but what is clear is that currently Al-Hilal's dream is visible, there is great potential to win the trophy again because up to now no one has been able to beat Al-Hilal.

But of course this season is still early and there could be a surprise where there are times when Al-Hilal can be defeated in a match this season by an SPL club.

but yes, it is true that Al-Nassr's debt problem is of course an old problem and it is very true that if it has not been paid off, Al-Nassr will certainly not be able to register their new players. but yes, it seems like it can be said that Al-nassr is certainly still safe and of course that way it can be confirmed that Al-nassr has great potential to be free from debt.

we won't know whether Al-nassr will be champions or not in the SPL this season because in this season I see Al-nassr's strength, it seems like there are no surprising changes and it is proven that they have competed 3 times, only winning 1 match, namely against Al-Feiha. now Al-nassr only sits in 7th place in the temporary standings and of course hard work is needed to be able to compete with Al-hilal because Al-hilal is now in 1st place in the temporary standings and of course mentally it will definitely make Al-hilal enthusiastic to maintain its position. is ranked 1st.

If the team did spend a lot of money to buy such a player, I'm more than sure they only spent a fraction of it and the rest was covered by their local organisation as it was done for PR purposes for the local football league. And it worked, because other world stars followed Ronaldo. Yes, they come to finish their careers mostly, but still. Sooner or later maybe they will be able to develop the league to the point where young players will come too

I think there is still this misleading idea that if you have Ronaldo on your team, you will immediately win all games. That was what they thought when they signed him and yet they were barely able to win anything. I don't know, but I believe they won one title and that is it. They lost big time in the league and are now falling behind again already.

It reminds me a little bit of PSG. They thought they would be winning the Champions League easily when they had Neymar, Mbappe and Messi on the team and yet they had no chance to win the title. Or maybe they did have a chance, but couldn't ultimately make it. Ronaldo is not a magician anymore. He was almost nowhere to be seen against Al Ahli despite the fact that he has several good players around him. Somehow Al Ahli is managing to stay ahead very convincingly while Al Nassr dropped points two times already.

"Al Nassr's struggles under Luis Castro are alarming, especially considering the investment in Cristiano Ronaldo. The board's priorities seem misplaced, focusing on branding over trophies. With powerhouses Al-Ittihad and Al Hilal boasting experienced coaches like Laurent Blanc and Jorge Jesus, Al Nassr risks falling further behind. To compete, they need a coach who can match the tactical prowess of Blanc and Jesus. Until then, Ronaldo's presence alone won't secure titles."
Al Nassr has spent a lot of money to invest in players like Ronaldo and also other European stars, but so far their performance has not improved and obviously that makes their chances of winning the SPL this season will be very difficult, last season we could see if Ronaldo was still able to become the top scorer but his personal achievements were not accompanied by the success obtained by Al Nassr,  Al Nassr performance last season was not consistent at all even though players like Ronaldo were able to contribute to every game they played, but what happened last season is not a lesson for the current Al Nassr who continues to keep Luis Castro as a coach, I think the tactics and strategies applied by Luis Castro so far is very easy to read by Al Nassr opponents and we can see how difficult Luis Castro in to improve the mentality of his players in a match,  So I think this is very different from the ability possessed by Jorge Jesus as the coach of al hillal, although al nassr continues to accumulate star players in his squad but without the support of a qualified coach, of course they will continue to have difficulty in competing for the SPL title.

Regarding bad behavior off the field, there are many players from Brazil that we can mention, Adriano is one very relevant example, he illustrates how short his football career was because of it. As for talent, I think all tongues will admit how great the players who come from Latin America are. Neymar seems to be following in the footsteps of one of the Brazilian legends, injury problems are another factor that makes him potentially retire earlier than everyone expected. Meanwhile, I am quite sure Al Hilal will not regret recruiting Neymar, they certainly already know that Neymar is very often injured, what is needed from Neymar is his big name to boost the prestige of the Saudi pro League in the eyes of the world. Reportedly, Neymar still needs two more months to be able to play again, most likely until the end of December, because his injury has not fully recovered. In soccer, sometime clubs done blind investments which can bring good fortune or in case of failure still they never regret about their decision same happen in this case after exit from PSG we never have anything positive about Neymar with now he is out of playing squad for the Al Hilal which is good because they can do better from this exit and concentrate on other players those are doing good job.

In last few years we are having too many problematic players from Latin America even their talent and skills are amazing but their off the field issues bringing frustration for their clubs and fans as well.

Now it's time for them to have changes into their attitude before this gone too late, and they lost their charm and having troubles which can surely bring serious problems for many future sensations.

Al-Nassr really has to work harder this season if they want to improve their ranking in the Saudi Pro League standings. And it seems that Luis Castro as Al-Nassr coach has not yet completely found a better strategy this season. Because Al-Nassr still looks the same as last season, it could even be said to have experienced a slight decline this season. But because this is only the start of the season, there is still plenty of time for Al-Nassr to improve their performance. But the problem is that Al-Nassr will be far behind if they lose points in the next match so Al-Nassr can no longer experience a draw and of course Al-Nassr also cannot experience defeat this season if they want to continue fighting for the title. Because currently Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad have also continued to win since the season started. Al-Ettifaq even showed results that were as good as Al-hilal and Al-ittihad, who were unbeaten.
That's right, Al Nassr must immediately improve to be able to compete in the top four of the standings, in order to maintain their hopes of winning the trophy this season. The competition at the top of the standings is getting tighter, involving more undefeated teams. If Al Hilal continues its positive trend by being undefeated, then it will be impossible for other clubs to snatch the trophy from their hands. Al Nassr chances of reducing the points gap are still very large, especially when they face each other in the future. Let's see if Ronaldo and his colleagues will be able to do it next week, when they face Al Ettifaq who are currently performing impressively and are also undefeated.
