Al-Nassr 0 - 1 Al-Ahli 70'
That is not good so far for Cristiano Ronaldo and his colleagues after celebrating him for scoring 900 goals.
Al-Nassr players are trying to push and the opposite happens. There is still time to try to get a draw at least but after all losing two points will have a bad impact on the team in the ranking. Right now they are 8th with a possibility to lose few other ranks. The difference between them and Al-Hilal could be five points by the end of this round..

Even though at first Al-Nassr appeared to be more pressing, at the end of the first half Al-Ahli started to turn things around and even almost scored a goal against Al-Nassr. Like Firminho's shot which fortunately was parried by Al-Nassr's new goalkeeper, Bento. Bento seems to be adapting more and more to Al-NASSR. He is increasingly reliable as the main goalkeeper currently at Al-nassr.

Al-ahli is building their squad continuously by making very good use of the transfer market. The presence of I. Toney in their squad also makes Al-ahli even more impossible to underestimate. Last season Al-ahli finished in 3rd place. And it could be that this season Al-ahli wants to get a better ranking. But if Al-ahli fails to beat Al-nassr today then I don't think Al-ahli is ready enough to fight for the title. Likewise, if Al-nassr loses to Al-ahli then Al-nassr will also be left behind by Al-hilal and this indicates that Al-nassr could also fail again this season. but it seems like many people expect Al-Nassr to win today's match. Well, actually, including me, I also favor Al-Nassr for this match.
Currently, Al-ahli has gained a 1 goal lead which they managed to get in the 57th minute. Like Al-ahli, they are increasingly growing into a strong team. And it looks like Al-nassr will be in big trouble if they don't equalize the score soon. Because time is running out and now the second half has entered the 65th minute. Which means there are only around 25 minutes left until the match ends. As hosts, Al-Nassr will definitely feel more burdened if they lose this match. Meanwhile, for Al-ahli, they will definitely continue to try to maintain their current advantage even though they have to become more defensive. Al-Nassr will fall further in the standings if they lose points in this match. And I think their dream of winning the title this season will also be even more difficult.

I understand what you're saying, the thing is that this league also needs marketing, obviously CR7 and Neymar give a lot of marketing and that also matters, I personally know that people worldwide watch these leagues just to see these stars, the clearest example is Messi who raised the interest in watching the MLS, which for me the MLS is one of the worst leagues in the world, the level of football is very low, so having stars works, apart from that and an incentive is that unlike the MLS, the Saudi Leagues do pay their players very well and that is something that does weigh.

I think the recent movement of many European star players to the Saudi Pro League marks a significant shift in the global football landscape. This trend reflects the growing financial power and ambition of clubs in the Saudi League, which has attracted high-profile players with lucrative contracts and the promise of a new challenge in a different environment.

Players who moved to the Saudi League did not mean end their careers, such as CR7 and Ruben Neves who still exist to be called up to defend Portugal.

While some may argue that these players are leaving behind competitive European leagues for financial gain, it also highlights the expanding influence of football outside of Europe. The Saudi League’s investment in top talent is a clear indication of their desire to elevate the level of the game domestically and gain greater global recognition. This movement could potentially reshape the future of football, as more leagues outside Europe become competitive destinations for elite players. It will be interesting to see how this development impacts the global football landscape in the years to come.

But it could be just a temporary sensation like the previous China's League Euphoria, We never know what the future holds.

Al-ahli continue to build their squad very well. They continue to collect good star players into their squad. And the results in the current match are quite clear that Al-ahli can make Al-nassr quite difficult with Al-ahli's attacks which are very fast. Now the first half is almost over and it looks like the score will remain 0-0 for this first half. Watching the Al-nassr vs Al-ahli match today is like watching a match at big European clubs. Well, this is quite the same sensation. Both clubs played very aggressively towards the end of the first half. And now the first round is over.

And I hope that in the second half Al-Nassr can score a goal and put the lead back on their side. Because I saw at the end of the first half the flow of the game started to turn around and put more pressure on the Al-Nassr defense area. And I think that can't happen again in the second half if Al-Nassr wants to win today's match.

Al-nassr vs Al-Ahli

Al-Nassr predicted lineup (4-2-3-1):
Bento (GK); Al Ghanam, Simakan, Laporte, Al Najdi; Otavio, Brozovic; Ghareeb, Talisca, Mane; Ronaldo

Al-Ahli predicted lineup (4-2-3-1):
Mendy (GK); Majrashi, Demiral, Ibanez, Alhurayji; Aljohani, Kessie; Mahrez, Firmino, Alnabit; Toney

Wow this is going to be an excitement match tonight having Ivan Toney on the pitch against Ronaldo it will be very nice to watch, seriously this game is going to be tough, Ivan Toney is a player with much confident when playing and is the best player in the Brentford who normally rescued them in their game, I felt bad for Brentford because they will really means Ivan Toney and his replacement will take longer time to get, and again a big congratulations to Al-Ahli for have a nice and confident player like Ivan Toney, I assured them they will never regret buying him, so let see what he have for Al-Ahli tonight at Al-Nassr home.

Ronaldo and Messi are both great and talented players in the history of football, they both create new history in every El-Classico match. Looking at Ronaldo's individual achievements, he is a player who has not been beaten by Messi in scoring goals and also his individual achievements while playing for a big team before playing in an Arab country. Ronaldo's record to this day continues to make many people still admire and respect what he does both on and off the field. Messi has also successfully lifted the world cup, which is also a good achievement, but overall Ronaldo's record still cannot be rivaled in various aspects in football and other events.
Both definitely feel like they are the greatest to ever play this game, we are so lucky to watch them when they were on their prime and their games against each other was always amazing to see as well.

I loved watching them beat each other too, it was never dominated by one side, both teams won and they had draws, they had calm games, and they had big fights, everything happened during that time. Both teams ended up winning UCL as well, which is awesome to see, obviously Real won more, but during Messi time it was a tie I think.

All in all I can say that it's a great feeling to see them play, but now they are old and they are both playing in leagues that are way below any European league and comparing them today makes no sense, they just gave up. Ronaldo technically didn't, if he played in some European club he could have, he just preferred money, and after 20 years of professional awesomeness, why wouldn't he, and Messi preferred destination, Miami, very nice place to retire.

The SPL has restarted after a two-week break. And the two opening matches have finished, namely the Al-taawoun vs Al-khaleej match, which Al-taawoun won with a score of 2-0. And the other match was the Damac vs Al-Okhdood club match where Damac managed to win with a score of 3-1.

And finally, the match that I am really looking forward to is currently taking place, namely the Al-Nassr vs Al-ahli match. Currently the first half of the match has only entered the 30th minute and neither team has scored a goal. But I am happy because Cristiano Ronaldo can immediately play again in this match after he returned from the Portuguese national team. Initially I thought Cristiano Ronaldo could be absent to take a break or he could only be played in the second half. Because remembering that he is no longer young and he could be tired after facing the National League. but it seems my guess was wrong. because Cristiano Ronaldo is still the starting XI in this match.

The two teams in Al Taawoun and Al Khaleej are very close in the middle of the points table. But among them, the number of gamblers bet on Al Taawoun team is high, the performance of this team was very good last season. But these seasons have come and they have performed relatively well, but according to the performance of these two teams, the support of the Al Taawoun team's victory in this match today is seen among more viewers, but this football game is a game of uncertainty, the result can change at any time.

So Al Taawoun team has many fast players in attacking department who can attack the opposing team very strongly and succeed in scoring goals. So we definitely expect them to perform well in today's match but we have to wait till the end to get the result of the game.

A Saudi Pro League third round match between Al Tawun and Al Khaleez was held in Buraydah. The match saw Al Taawoun face Al Khaleej as the local team. The Taawoun players looked far more confident against the opposition on their home ground, even as they performed to the best of their ability. The two teams that faced each other in today's match are not considered to be one of the richest teams in the Saudi Pro League primarily due to financial constraints. Where other clubs in the Saudi Pro-League are buying the world's best forwards for money, we haven't seen these two teams buy any significant players at such high prices.

Despite being a low-budget team, Al Taawoun finished fourth in the standings last season, behind Saudi Arabia's richest club, Al Ittihad. Just like that today they also got full points by defeating Al Khaleej football team 2-0 at their home ground.

I think the attraction European players to play in the Saudi Arabian league are not because of individual players like Ronaldo or Neymar so far but because of the fantastic salaries offer so it will be difficult for every player to refuse offers coming from Al Hillal, Al Nassr or other Arab clubs at this time.

I think you need to see a more complete context of the post, because actually we are discussing is the factor of player interest to join an Arab League club club, not precisely from the interest of fans or spectators who want to see star players play in the Arab League, currently we can compare why the Arab League has a lot of players with European star status playing compared to MLS which may only have a few stars during This, even though we know that Messi and Ronaldo have the same popularity today in football?
Yes, the answer is that the salary offer given by Arab club clubs is greater than by MLS club clubs today, so it is not surprising that European star players are more interested in playing in the Arab League than MLS  today.

Regarding the marketing you mentioned, I think with the arrival of players such as Ronaldo, Neymar, Ivan Toney, Mane and other European stars, of course, it directly makes the popularity of the Arab League because these star players have a very large fan base so far, besides that the Arab League authorities make it easier for every team in the Arab League to recruit star players so far in order to improve the quality of Arab football and the proof is that they add foreign player slots who can be recruited by a clubs from 8  make to10 now.

Al-Taawoun seems like they are still as strong as last season. So in the current match they are winning 2-0. Al-taawoun scored one goal in the first half in the 18th minute and the second goal in the second half in the 51st minute. And currently the match is still ongoing and has just entered the 69th minute. And I think another goal can still be scored in this match. Al-khaleej doesn't seem to be able to do much, especially in the second half. Well Al-taawoun dominated the match and continued to create chances.

And currently another match taking place in the SPL is the Damac vs Al-Okhdood match. And the score of the match was 3-0 with the advantage being on Damac's side. I didn't watch this match. Because I think Damac is certain to win the match.

In general, high salaries are the main attraction for every player in any league, thank God if they can achieve success with the team they defend, so that they become more famous. The Saudi Pro League took an instant path to expand its fan base, by recruiting star players like Ronaldo, everything they want will follow automatically. Ronaldo is used as a role model to convince other European players to be easy to recruit, and that is a pretty smart move so far. I am sure that every club that recruits former European players, and pays fantastic salaries will not lose, because there are many sources of profit obtained by the club.

I think in the future the Saudi Pro League will develop to be more competitive, the number of clubs recruiting European players continues to increase, so the competition for trophies will be fiercer. Meanwhile, for clubs under the auspices of the PIF, they will not have financial difficulties, their resources are unlimited. It is very possible that in the future they will acquire more clubs in the top five European leagues, not only focusing on developing domestic competitions.

How you come to the conclusion of the ego aspect of Cristiano is what still baffles me because what you call ego is actually self confidence to me. Cristiano is one of the most humble and committed player I have seen. To confirm this, tell me if you have ever seen Cristiana have problem with any of his coach both in league and national team. He has always been submissive and committed, facing the business of football with passion and dedication without sentiments. I believe he will fit into any team.
I started watching Cristiano Ronaldo when he was newly signed by Manchester United,  I was able to see him grow to become the global star he's today and that's why I'm always perplexed when people mistake his self-confidence for ego. Cristiano Ronaldo have always exhibited the life of humility as a footballer but one thing you can't take away from him is his ability to always defend himself as well as letting people know of his true worth.

Cristiano Ronaldo have played under different legendary football managers ranging from Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and so many others and none of them have ever described him as an "arrogant" footballer. I think some of these media outlets are responsible in  making him look like footballer with so much ego in their bid to make his biggest rival Lionel Messi look like a better footballer

Now just you, but many other people started watching Ronaldo when he was playing for Manchester United because during those years he had perfect performances and this Ronaldo to move to Real Madrid. However, he still performs well just like his younger ages and he is one of the best players on his team regardless of his age. This performance we see from Ronaldo, I think he can even play for more years for Al Nassr, which is not something we can see from other players even Messi in MLS.

Saudi League match week 3 will start today starting with the match:
Al Taawon vs Al Khaleej
Al Damac vs Al Okhdood

In today's match I bet on both with the options below:

I make Al Taawon the favorite to win because they have the advantage of playing as the home team in my opinion Al Taawon is better than Al Khaleej this club was just defeated by Al Shabab in its last match so I think Al Taawon will definitely beat Al Khaleej too.
For the Al Damac vs Al Okhdood match I prefer to bet over 1.5 and avoid betting on one of their wins, actually the bookies favor Al Damac but I am a little doubtful about this club because at the beginning of this season Al Damac has not won a match at all.
Did you miss 1 important match that was easy to predict? Al Nassr vs Al Ahli.
If you put Al Nassr into your parlay bet slip, it will definitely be very profitable because currently Al Nassr has very good odds of around @1.82. And if these odds are added to your bet slip, you will definitely get a total odds of @4.3. But unfortunately you missed the match.
I also have a question about whether you are really sure about Al Taawon victory? On the one hand, Al Khaleej actually has a performance that is almost equal to Al Taawon. I even bet on the match to choose BTTS.

Injury is indeed a risk that every professional footballer must be prepared to bear at this time, but what is happening to Neymar at the moment, I think his injury is in a very serious condition so it is doubtful that he will be able to perform normally again like in previously, the history of injuries that he has Neymar is too long for a player who is 32 years old, his old age certainly means that his recovery is no longer as easy as it is for young players today, so I think is better for Al Hillal to immediately make a decision to terminate Neymar current contract, remembering that he might not be able to be relied on anymore even if he recovers.
There were many players who decided to retire because they never fully recovered from their injuries. Aguero, Hazard, Bale, and Wilshere are some of the top players who retired because they have serious problems with injuries. I think Neymar will follow them because Neymar has the same problems as these players. It will never end if a player gets a prone of injury, the best solution is to retire because the health should be the top priority. Even worse Neymar isn't a type of discipline individual, it is getting harder to maintain the health.

I doubt if Al Hilal will terminate his contract. But I believe there will be no an extension for Neymar's contract. Although Neymar rarely plays for Al Hilal, but Neymar probably improves the sale of Al Hilal merchandise. I think it is not very badly for Al Hilal to keep Neymar until the end of his contract. Al Hilal also avoid paying the compensation for Neymar if they terminate Neymar's contract.

He's not finished yet, it's not surprising to see him busy with streaming and playing games because he can't play football ATM, there are rumors that he should be back playing at Al-Hilal this month, but we have to be more patient waiting for his comeback, because there's the latest information that he will only be able to play again for Al-Hilal at the end of this year. It's still too soon for us to imagine him playing for Santos, it could happen, but not for the next 2 - 3 years.
Sure, he is still a football player now but it will be difficult to continue his career if he can't deal with his injury. Neymar got too many injury problems, I personally doubt if he still can play in the next 2-3 years. He also looks not really focusing on the recovery anymore, he is busy with playing games and streaming. He may prepare a new career if he decides to retire from football. I assume he may decide to retire when his contract with Al Hilal is over and he fails to recover. Even he can recover, it is very possible to get injury again in short time. So, I never imagine he will return to Santos, Santos won't consider to sign him with the prone of injury problems.

I think some of these media outlets are responsible in  making him look like footballer with so much ego in their bid to make his biggest rival Lionel Messi look like a better footballer

He was made the villains so Messi can be the most liked among everybody but still they couldn't defeat Ronaldo as he still get love from his fans. Ronaldo started with nothing and wasn't given an easy path as Messi was. Messi is a Barcelona product and he got protected from the beginning and given anything that he wants. The moment he left Barcelona, he started struggling until they have to decide to give him the world cup so they can crown him the greatest of all time yet Ronaldo is still the one that the street loves. Ronaldo carrying himself is because nobody agreed to carry him, his clubs keep betraying him after everything that he does for them. It started from Real Madrid to Manchester united.
Ronaldo is a great player to me and I see him as the best even if Messi is the best currently because he has added the world cup to his achievements which Ronaldo hasn't. Sometimes these achievements are luck or being given to vompensate the player for his outstanding performance in football.

Ronaldo still has his own record where everyone respects him on that and Messi cannot outsmart him in that aspect which is the highest goal scorer in all competitions in football. This alone will be a record that might take decades to break.
