Franck Kessie was the winning hero for Al-Ahli in this game and scored a dramatic goal in 90 +6 minutes. The match was clearly dominated by Al-Ahli but they seemed to have difficulty scoring goals from the first half and Al-Akhdoud also did not want his opponent to attack freely towards his goal. But during normal time, Al-Ahli only took 1 shot on target and that was the only goal scored. I think the score results are like the previous match which was always superior by 2 to 3 goals. However, this victory was enough for Al-Ahli to return to competing at the top of the Saudi league and now they are in 2nd place in the standings and only goal difference from Al-Ittihad.

I do agree that it is going to be a bit of a difficult situation for Al-nassr because they spent a lot of money but also other clubs got some great players and spent a lot of money as well. In a case, where you spent a lot of money and still lost, people will be all over you telling how the club sucks even with all that money spent, but the reality is that it is normal and we shouldn't really judge them and it should not be a big deal, because other clubs are not some terrible clubs neither.

Look at all the other clubs in Saudi league, so many of them got so many great players, which means that if Al-Nassr ends up losing the title this year (which looks likely) then it is not a shocker, and it should be considered normal.
This is a probe that the league is developing fast than expected and becoming competitive, It will be hard for every team, no team will find it easy, not just Alnassr. The league is becoming interesting, no one club can dominate it like German league that is built around Bayern Munich.

Alnassr has fixed there defense problem, with the arrival of Laport from Manchester city, it will boost the defend line of Alnassr, they had a challenging start, but they have players that Will fix it and get them to winning way.

Their performance in the AFC playoff is enough probe that they will be find and recover quick from their poor performance.

I do not think Ronaldo will stop playing at the end of his contract. He likes this game very well and with the way he plays, it is obvious that he still wishes that he was young. Ronaldo will not retire at 40, he would like to play for as long as his body can permit. So, what I feel is that he will have a contract renewal at the end of this one, and it may be even better because of what has been offered to other European players that have moved to Saudi Arabia's league. Al Nassr will try to beat it, to keep him happy.
Agree. He is unlikely to retire in the next 2-3 years. When his contract expires with Al Nassr, I believe he will move to another team. But I think he will leave Saudi league, I doubt he will stay in SPL. He is a typical player who wants a new challenge. So, it is very possible that he may consider to go back to his country and joins Sporting again. Well, as long as he still has no problem with his fitness, Ronaldo seems to have a desire to play.

it is very possible, we can see his performance so far. Ronaldo is still able to play up to 90 minutes of normal time. Ibrahimovic is another player who was active until the age of 40, Ronaldo could be next on this list.
Yep. He can play full time and he has no problem with his fitness. So, there is no reason for him to end his career soon.

Anyway, not only Ibrahimovic, Buffon is also a player who can play above 40 years old.

For a new contract extension, I doubt it a little. Because he has reached more than 40 years of age, injuries will usually become close friends at that age.
Al Nassr may not extend his contract if he couldn't show his best again. But I doubt if Ronaldo will often get injured when he s 40 years old. He commits to keep his good life and always do exercise, so he is very rare to get injured.

Exactly my thoughts. When I see such volatility in results, I think it makes sense to bet on underdogs and profit from it. The problem is that the bookmaker's assessment corresponds to this volatility and often the odds of the favorite in the game are in the region of 2.4 This means that the coefficient on outsiders is also small. Therefore, I have not yet figured out what bets to make in this league.

To be fair though Al-Nasser was the better team in both league games, but I am not sure if Al-Nassr players rely too much on Ronaldo scoring goals. He is weak at times and things don't really work out as he wants them to, but there should still be others to take responsibility as well.

Mané isn't the player that many think he is. I don't know but his Liverpool performances can't be taken as a good example for what should be expected from him in a different team. When he played for Liverpool, the game that Klopp wanted his team to play seemed to suit Mané perfectly. But as soon as individual extra class is needed, someone like Mané fails to deliver. He isn't the player who takes the ball and solves problems on his own. He fits very well into a complete attack line as an important element. But on a bad day he isn't the one to save three points through an extraordinary one-man show.

I haven't watched the games so I can't say how good Al-Nasr was, but I can see that the bookies in average are right to give it unoptimistic odds. Yes, Mane is still in the downtrend, I don’t know if he can even be better than most in the weaker league, but how quickly he went from Liverpool to Saudi Arabia is scary. With Ronaldo, everything is clear - age, you should not expect anything from him, on the contrary, the fact that he sometimes still scores decisive goals should be taken as a pleasant surprise.

So Neymar is still injured so he has to miss the next 1 month with an ankle injury? I read the source from the local news.
Should this be a disappointment for Al Hilal fans looking forward to the star player playing while we know Neymar often has quite serious problems in himself, Al Hilal should be a little patient until he recovers.
He will play with Brazil national team in two weeks if I am not mistaken. Besides he seems confident that his injury isn't that serious according to his tweet photo of his leg.
Meanwhile, his team Al-Hilal are leading with 3 goals to 0 vs Al-Raed. They are sitting in the second place for the moment with this victory eventually and the actual draw of both Al-Ahli and Al-Ettifaq. The first place for now is in Al-Ittihad hands since they are leading also with 3 goals to 0 vs Al-Riyadh.

It was very clear that Ronaldo headed to Saudi Arabia only because of the money. But apart from the money factor, Ronaldo seems to have been made an icon to run the mega project being worked on to popularize the Saudi Professional League. I see that something is not normal with what is happening at the moment in the Saudi Professional League and this is definitely a great project. Ronaldo's presence is clearly a magnet for other footballers to come to Saudi Arabia.

Yes, Ronaldo will still be a citizen of Portugal and surely he will love his country very much. Maybe after he retires he will still be a football ambassador and maybe if the Saudi League continues to grow then Ronaldo will still be in Arab lands.
Saudi is one the sudden growing league presently in football. This function can be traced back to when Al Nassr signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester united. That was definitely the beginning of the steady signing of players from Europe. However Cristiano Ronaldo is here to win significant trophies, arrival in Saudi was a welcome idea from the supporters, his presence have increased the popularity of the league worldwide. It's just a matter of time before things finally sets good in Saudi. Some determined European players moving over because of the money, it's quite understandable.

Admit it or not, the main factor for Ronaldo to play in the Arab League is because of the money factor, not a football passion factor. It is undeniable that at a young age a player only plays for the passion of football, at that time they didn't really care about money. When entering the end of his career, they do not care about the passion of football because they want to collect some money before retiring.

Ronaldo will never give up his nationality to accept Saudi Arabia's offer, he has contributed greatly to Portuguese football and will be remembered as a proud legend of Portuguese football. Ronaldo as a newcomer to Saudi Arabia, he will stay there as long as his business is running smoothly. After that he will return to his country to enjoy old age after completing his career in football.

Some of today's matches brought together some of the top Saudi league clubs from Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal. All three must fight against each other to continue to fight for a place at the top of the standings. Of course they have to beat their opponent to get full additional points and seeing the list of opponents they are not too strong either. I think these three teams will both pocket an additional 3 points and they have to be confident to be able to win this game. But even though the three teams are the favorites to win, they can't be careless because after all, anything can still happen as long as they don't make a fatal mistake.

Al-Ta'ee vs Al-Wehda two teams came to the field to play today in Saudi Professional League. Al-Wehda team won the match by scoring 3 goals. The performance of the players of both teams was very good in this match. But Al-Ta'  ee had to accept the loss of the match for not being able to score any goals. F. Fajr of Al-Wehda team scored the first goal in 34 minutes. S.  Al Mowalad scored the 2nd goal at 62 minutes and O. Ighalo scored the 3rd goal at 90+2 minutes.

The Ronaldo family thinks Saudi Arabia as a business field only and not a place where they could settle down for good, after all, they are more accustomed to their own tradition in Portugal and so that's where the whole family will live after all of these businesses are finished. 2030 bidding might be Cristiano's limit that is why they are granting him additional payments because they need his influence to help the whole league win the bid and after that, Cristiano can retire for good from the football field.

I am not sure what he is thinking. And I am also not sure whether he is required to stay until 2030. His role is essential for the bid for 2030 FIFA World Cup. But the bidding process is going to take place much earlier than 2030. Probably by 2025 it is going to start. In case Saudi Arabia fails to win the hosting rights, then Ronaldo may be released and he will go back to Portugal. This time there is fierce competition for hosting, especially from the joint-CONMEBOL bid (Uruguay–Argentina–Chile–Paraguay), as well as from Spain–Portugal–Ukraine–Morocco.

I hope, at least just by Ronaldo playing in the Saudi Pro League, then it is enough for FIFA to appoint Saudi worthy of hosting. Because after all, it is not only Ronaldo who plays here, because there are other great players too like Benzema, Neymar, Mane and many more. So with that, it is clear that the Saudi have a good ability to be able to host because they also have money. Of course, there is nothing to doubt if they hold the world cup in Saudi, because of course it has proven to be safe and comfortable as the star players who play in the Saudi Pro League have also felt.

No one knows what will happen next when Ronaldo's contract ends at Al Nassr, whether he will extend his contract or look for another club outside of Saudi Arabia. In fact we will see that only Saudi Arabia has the ability to sign Ronaldo and at his old age it is difficult for him to return to Europe and also the salary considerations make any club outside of Saudi Arabia consider signing him. After all if you look at his playing ability, it is still clear that Ronaldo's presence in the team can have a positive effect on the club and his contribution is still quite large so far.

And I'm sure that in the end Al Nassr will extend Ronaldo's contract and it must be admitted because it was the Ronaldo effect that made many European players eventually move to Saudi Arabia. So that this business continues, in the end the club owners benefit greatly from the project they are developing and naturally Ronaldo will have his contract extended.
Retiring and becoming a coach is the right choice I think, his contract will end on 30 June 2025 and Ronaldo will be 40 years old. The impact and influence exerted by him has been proven, I think Ronaldo is more influential in the media than Leonel Messi.

Reportedly Ronaldo once made a statement that he would spend the rest of his time at Sporting, where he grew up in football. I think he will retire there, this is also not ruled out.

Ronaldo has a few hidden clauses in his contract. He is guaranteed of additional payments if he stays in Saudi Arabia until the bidding for the 2030 FIFA World Cup gets finished. There is no guarantee that Saudi Arabia will be able to win the bid, but they believe that presence of Ronaldo is going to help them immensely. The Saudis actually want Ronaldo to forfeit his Portuguese citizenship in exchange for a Saudi passport, but from what I have heard his family is against the idea of settling down there on a permanent basis.

Ronaldo having two and half years contract which is going to end in 2025 then most chances at the age of 40 he will retire from soccer but still stay in soccer because now he is brand ambassador of the Saudi League and Al Nassr soccer club, and they want him to stay until 2030 which is long time hopefully things will be good for them during this time.

Ronaldo is enjoying the VIP treatment being giving to him in Saudi Arabia and I don't think that after the end of his contract in 2025 that he will leave. It is possible that he will extend his contract because his club will likely keep him in the club for more years.

By 2030,Ronaldo will finally retire and go back to Portugal if he is still in Saudi Arabia because I don't think he will go beyond this in his football career. Though, the Saudis have plans of using Ronaldo to bid for the FIFA World cup in 2030 and I think this is the main reason he will stay till 2030 and wouldn't go soon.
I would like to talk about a slightly different context. I personally think that European football could be in great danger. What do you think about European football? As Saudi Arabia is economically self-sufficient, in the next few seasons they will want to add the biggest players of the European league to their clubs. What is your opinion on this matter?

It would also require a huge cultural change to support a league from Saudi Arabia in order to grow beyond the European leagues. I don't know what the Saudi clubs are planning, but imitating an ecosystem like what there is in Europe is impossible. The culture is different in Europe, the fans are different in Europe, many players who play in Europe are also home in Europe. Imagine how many players they would have to buy to get only the Saudi Professional League onto the level of maybe the Serie A. And then they still don't have a Champions League and a Europa League that includes all the clubs and the fans from a whole continent.

Al Tai vs Al Wehda match is taking place, it is expected to be a great game between the two teams. As the Al Tai between the two teams, can be considered stronger and may win today's match. However, if it is seen as today's betting range, then the probability of Al Tai winning is high. Al Tai @ 2.05 and draw 3.20 and Al Wehda @ 3.30 are betting odds for Al Tai to win as per this range. But I think that today's match might be a draw because if both teams can play a good attack full game then it is expected that the match will be equal.

Somehow I am not interested in watching and betting on matches in the Saudi Pro League except for the matches of 5 favorite clubs like Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad and Al Ettifaq I don't underestimate other clubs it's just that I feel bored watching them. Today 4 of the 5 favorite clubs will play in the next 2-3 hours as gamblers we have many options for betting and I will prioritize betting on the home teams Al-Ettifaq and Al Ahli playing at home today I will combine the two teams in a parlay bet, while for single bet I will wait until the line up shows up to make sure who will play.
