Today Saudi Arabia's Al Nasr played against Egypt's Zamalek in the Arab Champions Cup and drew and Cristiano Ronaldo finally scored and equalized in the 87th minute to make it 1-1 and thanks to that the Saudi Arabian club moved on with 5 points in their group.

For Ronaldo it is 160th goal of his career! Some people do not forget how many goals Ronaldo has scored in his career.
In general, little by little Ronaldo comes to his senses after goalless games. Hopefully this will help him find peace of mind and he will be able to keep scoring and keep up with Messi.

By the way, Sadio Mane made his debut in this match, but there was no goal-scoring action from his side.

I missed that match, statistically Al Nassr is better and they should can won, but somehow the result is not wow for them. They are still lucky that Ronaldo was able to get a goal in that match, if Roanaldo can't score, maybe they will lose. Although the result is a draw but it's not too bad because they can also qualify for the quarter finals, later against Raja Casablanca will be an important match for them because they must to win in that match to qualify for the semifinals.

Al-Shabab was under negotiation with Fulham to gets Willian and it say Al-Shabab representative has been went to London to talking about this transfer but it wasn't mentioned the price tag for Willian and Al-Shabab actually not alone because Nottingham Forest also interested to using Willian service and since arrived to Fulham from Corinthians from free transfer status Willian has been performing well and he was succeessfully to bringing Fulham to survive on Premier League and actually Willian has signing new contract with Fulham for 1 year duration and extension option after end of this season but if Al-Shabab offering huge money to buy him i think Fulham will be interested to sell him but it wasn't mentioned about the salary but i am sure Al-Shabab will give him high amount of salary

Interesting of course if Willian will really play for Al-Shabab because then, not only four clubs have star players but become five clubs. After all, it seems very feasible for Willian to play in the Suadi Pro League because yes, with Willian's age already stepping on 34 and will be 35 years old in a few days. Then at least, it is a suitable age for Willian to get appreciation with a large salary. Because after all, staying at Fulham will also not provide a chance for Willian to win the title as well and that way, playing in the Saudi Pro League is also the right choice for Willian because he is a great player.

Ronaldo with such an important goal for Al Nassr. With his goal they go into the knockout faze and he still proves that he still has what it takes to get his team to the next level. Zamalek almost made a surprise but Ronaldo denied them at the very end of the match.

Al Nassr bought all the attacking players and didnt buy any defenders and that why they conceded so many goals against bigger teams from europe. They like buying big names and there arent many big defenders names that can bring popularity to the league so thats why they focus on attack and midfield

Your point is reasonable and I agree to that. But even at that, it would be better they get strong defenders from other continents that can withstand the pressure of the attacking teams. If their attack and midfield are strong, it doesn’t guarantee them a victory in all the matches since they’ve a weak defense. It is important they work in their defense before the new season begins. It’ll only be a regrettable action if they don’t find solution and make the team more stronger as the new season is about to start and transfer windows will be closed also soon.
Al Nassr is surely doing mistake which they have done in last season with having not solid defence which can create problems for them as we watch them in last season their attack was really impressive, and they have done good job for the team but sadly their defence which is surely not as par their requirement still have big holed, and they can go down again with Al Ittihad and Al Hilal both are doing much better job instead of them.

Having world's best attack is never been guaranteed for the success if they have no solid players in defence which can give them better backup in all situations now we have few days, and they can manage things if they want to go for the title otherwise things can go again in same way with they were having in last season.

Al Nassr have signed Liverpool midfield star Fabinho to strengthen their midfield this season after signing Cristiano Ronaldo last time. The main reason for bringing Cristiano Ronaldo into the team is to bring the main focus of football to the Saudi League. In this they are very successful, most people now have a good idea about their club. Al Nassr looks to strengthen the midfield to boost his club's popularity as well as performance, Fabinho will play a key role in strengthening the midfield as the midfield star has performed well for Liverpool as well as being key to several wins for the national team.
Fabinho has already extended his contract with Liverpool but when Al Nassr came knocking with a lucrative €40 deal for the 29 years old Brazilian, the reds couldn't resist such an offer. Fabinho is a good defensive midfielder with a lot of experience and he can also double as a right back, so it's a good signing for Al Nassr. But I think the move is money motivated, because he was part of Liverpool's plan for the season and he couldn't say no to the juicy 700k per week offer which is four times what Liverpool wanted to offer him. Al Nassr has already brought in Alex Telles and also closing on the deal to bring Mane to SPL, they look almost set for a title challenge for the new season.
Maybe what you mean is not Al Nassr but Al Ittihad, please visit the official social media account if I'm wrong. Fabinho has won the Champions League and EPL with Liverpool, trophies every player dreams of. Maybe in his new contract the reds can't fulfill Fabinho request for additional salary, and Al Ittihad can make it happen.

Naturally, I think that if players who have contributed to the club are treated better, all professional players also have the same principles.

Litzki1990 has edited his wrong post regarding Fabinho's move to the Saudi club. do you also not read the news and only comment on someone's posts?

Fabinho is a fairly important player in the Liverpool team. his move to Al Ittihad was quite a surprise because his contract with Liverpool will also expire in 2026.
The arrival of Fabinho to Al Ittihad has further strengthened the competition in the SPL as their rivals Al Nassr have also brought in several players from other Europe. however, most of those who came were nearly 30 years of age and over. however, in terms of skill and experience, European players cannot be underestimated.

Have you heard that Klopp is asking UEFA and FIFA to deal with the activity of Saudi clubs, arguing that the transfer windows in Europe and Saudi Arabia do not coincide in time? I wonder what he proposes - to extend the transfer window in Europe or to reduce it in Saudi Arabia? But even if this is done, the Saudi clubs will still have more money to poach players - and Klopp is 100% hinting at this problem.
As far as I remember this news appeared in the online media this week and if I'm not mistaken Jurgen Klopp said that after Fabinho officially joined Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad. No one knows why he said that, but from some assumptions I gather he is moving slowly in the transfer market at the moment and has not gotten the players he wants or perhaps wants to limit the space for Saudi Arabian clubs to pursue European players.

That's just my assumption and actually it doesn't really matter much for the Saudi Arabian club despite shortening the transfer time given because they are looking for older players. But when it comes to UEFA and FIFA rules then shortening the transfer window is unlikely to work and this suggestion sounds like Jurgen Klopp is having a panic attack.

I get his point here since the transfer window is open for three weeks longer than in Europe and that is almost six games into the Premier League season. If then the Saudis come and buy two key players of a team that has just found its primary formation, all the work is in vain and a coach can start all over to find the best formation. That should be aligned better so once the window is closed, it is closed in all relevant places. It has never been a problem before because usually good players didn't go to Saudi Arabia, but that has changed now.

Willian may prefer to play in the Premier League instead of moving to the Saudi Pro League, but he is likely to accept Shabab's offer.. Willian is in talk with al shabab right now. I think that he will be leaving from fulham if he will get a good salary from al shabab.

Quote
Willian is reportedly in talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab - despite re-signing with Fulham just over two weeks ago.
https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/fulham-willian-saudi-transfer-news-30613736

Saudi club was not only stopping to hijack him. It has been reported that if saudi club is willing to hijack mitrovic from fulham as well. I think that saudi club gonna be a nightmare for european club caused by it can hijack any players anytime.
The power of money said a lot in this case while we do know that if those professional football was playing for money. It's very interesting waiting for the decision from willian regarding shabab's offer.

Willian is now still discussing about the proposal from al shibab.

Competition in the Arab League will indeed be tighter this season. several European players were finally brought in with very high transfers and salaries. it looks like rumors to make the Arab League more popular than the Europa League are indeed being planned. However, the arrival of European players to Arab countries certainly made a big impact on world football fans.
@Pandu Geddon you are absolutely right as Fabinho is signed by Al Ittihad not by Al Nassr as now he is playing with Karim Benzema in next season not with Cristiano Ronaldo.
https://www.flashscore.com/team/al-ittihad-fc/QmsyAjWh/transfers/

There is no doubt now as huge funds are invested by Saudi League organizers things looking very interesting, and all top teams are having competitive players which can make good mark in this league and surely this season is also going to be interesting because right now they are still chasing few big names even few already rejected like Lukaku and Mbappé, but few are still looking for these offers.

Al Ittihad is defending champions, and they are doing their best for the keeping title for another season with their new players it's looking like they are going to have good time in league again.

I have never heard of that from Kloop but I have had Pep Guardiola say that the Saudi league has a real threat. I think many European team coaches are starting to feel apprehensive about the big transfers made by the Saudi league team, but we also cannot completely stop this activity as long as no one violates the rules. Now we can know that regardless of the duration of the transfer time, many European players will still join the Saudi league team because they are chasing a higher salary than being in a European team.

Besides that, if we look at the money that has been spent so far this season, the saudi league is in 5th place and even La Liga doesn't have the big passion to make big transfers like other top European leagues.

Al ittihad was winning against al shorta yesterday and benzema is giving another goal for al ittihad again. Bet Benzema's gonna be the top scorer in the Saudi club champion league. Im not feeling doubt caused by he is now leading the top scorer leaderboard right now. Al ittihad already qualified for quarter final of arab club champion league. Ittihad has been making the right decision by buying benzema from real madrid. It doesn't even matter where he was and his name will always be mentioned in tthe top scorer leaderboard.

Benzema's performance is always consistent. I do like how this striker is always able adapting easily without any problem.
Without any doubt Karim Benzema is one of the best striker with his ability to adjust in any condition is also amazing with this performance most chances he is going to have good results in coming season and surely this could be impressive for the Al-Ittihad which spend good amount for him in transfer even right now many changes still in discussion with few top ranked players are under radar of Saudi League organizers which want to have good mark in this season.

Al-Ittihad which is going to defend his title already have good results and their challengers which are also spending good amount for the improvement of their squad is also in good shape going to have good competition most chances we will have again trio of Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr at the top of league because these are currently had enough sources for staying at the top.
Karim Benzema who's the current Balon D'or winner will definitely be a great signing for Al-Ittihad and despite his current age, Benzema still has all it takes to be a top performer.
Al-Ittihad who'll be defending their title in when the new season kicks off has done well in signing quality players and with Ngolo Kante and Benzema in their side, they're surely gonna have a good title defense

Like the transfer window in MLS does not match with one in Europe and I think UEFA or FIFA can not enforce national leagues to have an universal transfer window. It depends on many conditions like weather which can not be controlled by human, FIFA or EUFA. The World Cup 2022 was hosted in December 2022 because of weather in Middle East, Qatar in particular.

If local leagues have to start and end differently than in European countries, their transfer windows must be different too. So I see the proposal to change it is unrealistic and unreasonable.

You have read the correct news online and I also read the correct news online but there is some mistake in publishing my news here. I mentioned Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr club without revealing Karim Benzema's club Al Ittihad. Fabinho originally signed his contract with Al Ittihad from Liverpool and will play for Al Ittihad in the Saudi League from the upcoming season.

All the stars who were supposed to stay in Europe will now play for Saudi clubs. After Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Saudi Arabia, several notable players have already moved to Saudi Arabia this season. Karim Benzema's team Al Ittihad will be a tough authority for Cristiano Ronaldo next season. This could have a negative impact on European leagues as more players may come to Saudi for money next season.

Although he was about to turn 38, he flatly refused the offer from the Saudi giants. At this age, it is difficult for any player of his generation to compare with him. The person I want to mention is the "conductor" in the midfield of Real, Luka Modric. Going against the general trend of stars on the other side of the career slope, Luka Modric has rejected many offers from Saudi Arabia to continue staying at Real Madrid until the end of his contract. He will retire at the Bernabeu instead of going to Saudi Arabia to earn money in his old age.

Of all the Real Madrid players, the only one whose work ethic deserves appreciation is Luca Modric. Modric has joined Madrid for almost a decade, even though Real Madrid has many star players. however only Modric has been most consistent with his work ethic. not only that, he even showed it in his Croatian national team. this man, very loyal to Los Blancos. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he refuses to follow in the footsteps of other top players to join Saudi clubs.
for him, money is not that important. after all, he already has everything he wants starting from trophies, luxury, money, and big name

I'm not a Real Madrid fan, but I really appreciate the work of this Croatian player. At this time, the end of his retirement was very near. only one season, he certainly seems to be retiring. Interestingly, he still wants to extend his contract to mentor Real Madrid players. that's why, I really respect this one player. speaking of rejecting the offers of Saudi clubs, actually there are many players who do it. even so, some of them are aged 30+. but for them, that money is not everything. and I thought, that's pretty cool.
Luca Modric is not a cult name of Real Madrid, but with experience and ability to keep the rhythm of the game and accurate passes, few people can match. And the age problem makes him no longer maintain the full physical foundation as before. I hope next season. He will guide the young generation of Real Madrid to continue to thrive in Europe.
I also admire his personality and loyalty to his work. Although he does not stand out in terms of talent, he is one of the top people in terms of work ethic. We'll see him play for one more season. I wish him all the best at the end of his career.
