In Saudi Professional League Al-Khaleej vs Abha these two teams came to the field to play. But Al-Khaleej won the match by scoring 3 goals but 1 player of Al-Khaleej team got red cards in 52 minutes. Abha did not perform well in this match.  But 1 goal was scored by S. Al-Selouli in 25 minutes. After the opening, poor performance started. Al-Khaleej team player A. E. Feitosa scored 2 goals alone. And L. Souza scored 1 goal.
Abha only had possession in the back and then before it got to the Al-Khaleej defense, they lost the ball. not many chances to get Abha. making the fight quite difficult for them to win.
Al-Khaleej did lose momentum early on, but they made up for it after they fell behind. 3 goals to reply to Abha's 1 goal was enough for their victory in the last game.

Luka Modric aspires to extend his contract with Real Madrid; the Croatian international's ultimate ambition is to retire at the Santiago Bernabeu. Saudi Arabian teams have made major bids for big-name footballers. I see what they're trying to accomplish by bringing in great names for the sake of popularity, but football fans don't recognize their league because they believe it's not as vital or competitive as the English Premier League, La Liga, Seria A, Bundesliga, and Ligue One. Saudi Arabia top clubs are eager to include the Saudi Arabia league among the elite leagues, but it will take some time before FIFA accepts it.

Some players are not moved by money and I guess Luka Modric is in that category. He might not be as strong as he used to be but Carlo Ancelotti wants to use his experience to build Jude Bellingham. Young players are groomed by well-experienced players that's why some coaches find them valuable. Maybe at the end of next season, he might move to the big money-spending Saudi League. The Saudi league needs more than top players to develop. More younger players also need to be attracted to the league to make it more competitive and exciting. But one of the barriers is their religious and cultural belief. Players will always be discouraged by the restrictions they will face in the league.

Bro, I'm totally vibing with you here. Ronaldo lighting up the pitch - it's like a trending meme on Reddit, right? But turning SPL into a trending hashtag ain't just about cloning Ronaldo everywhere.

Hold up! I ain't throwing shade on getting a high-profile player. That could blow up like a viral TikTok challenge. But one Ronaldo making SPL a world-class league? Nah fam. Football's more than just a couple of games where the GOATs face-off. What about the non-trending matches, the ones without the buzz? It's not like we're talking about Coachella, right?

The Premier League didn't just skyrocket 'cause they had a couple of stars. They cooked up a league where the big guns face-off regularly. So, wouldn't you agree, the SPL needs more than just a trending Ronaldo to join the league of legends?

It's like sending Vitali Klitschko to a Chinese boxing league and believing that the whole world will start watching Chinese boxing like addicts. That's nonsense. I followed a couple of games from the SPL since Ronaldo has been there, but only some of the highlight summaries and never whole games. My interest in seeing how and what he does there dropped in an instant because it's not exciting. It is not interesting when he scores a free kick or makes a great goal. It was interesting when he played for Madrid or Manchester United. Something was on the line and I admired him for scoring goals against the best teams in the world. Now it's more like checking it out only to know what's going on. A bit like reading the newspaper but I am reading more boring parts of the newspaper than I check out how Ronaldo is doing in the SPL and I like soccer a lot.

Today there was news that Modric will not renew his contract with Real Madrid (although a preliminary agreement on a one-year extension has already been reached) because he also received a super-money offer from the Saudis. No matter how it all looks from the outside (Ronaldo's transfer for unreal money), it seems that their strategy is working - first they will poach old legends, and then easily poach young players, since it is much easier to move to a no-name league if such tops are already playing there as Ronaldo and Benzema, Modric. I wonder how soon European clubs will feel threatened by such an expansion. After all, this will even affect the remaining players - their exorbitant salaries will inflate even more.

Ronaldo recently said that the Saudi Professional League could become a force and will be among the top five leagues in the world. But he also said that they are literally lacking players and infrastructure. Now how will that ever be sustainable when they need to pay a few hundred million in salaries per year in order to convince the stars to go there? The sheikhs would be better off buying their clubs in the European leagues and go from there. Establishing the SPL as one of the top five leagues is a bottomless pit.
Well I would say never say never as nothing is impossible to achieve only if the mindset of doing it is there. Well for the case of turning the SPL to one of the top leagues is something that is quite possible I believed, first the attraction of major players like the likes of Ronaldo need to be always there and paying them handsomely is another factor but like you said its all depends on the owners and management of the league for this dream to be a reality and one thing I know and beleive the Arab men for is the actual will power that pushes them to achieve all their goals.

Have you heard the latest rumors regarding Messi moving to Al Hilal the Saudi league? This rumor has not been confirmed by Messi however local news sites continue to publish about this, reportedly Messi was offered a contract 3x higher than what Ronaldo got and I can't imagine if this news actually happens next season, obviously this is  El Clasico saudi League version.
PSG star Lionel Messi has heard several information about his transfer this season, but so far no confirmed news has been received from Messi. PSG manager Christopher Galtier has confirmed that two-year signing Lionel Messi is likely to make a move within the next two months. In this case, Al Hilal, a top club in Saudi Arabia, raised the highest market price for his transfer. Al Hilal raised the market price of $1.2 billion for Messi, which is the highest market price ever recorded. Messi has so far not given any positive or negative answer to Al Hilal's offer.

If you think about it, Messi doesn't have much choice because in retirement, no European club wants to sign him because of financial constraints
So the saudi league should be the right solution moreover he has competitors there like Ronaldo and Benzema who are rumored to be moving to the saudi league
this month the transfer window will open we will see the news there, hoping for more surprises next season.

I am a bit confused. Some of the media outlets are saying that Messi has already accepted the offer:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12062969/Lionel-Messis-Saudi-Arabia-522MILLION-contract-DEAL.html
https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/lionel-messi-has-accepted-offer-from-al-hilal-report

The confusion is being created because Jorge Messi (father of Lionel) has repeatedly denied that his son is moving to Saudi Arabia. Also, there are rumors that Messi's wife Antonela Roccuzzo is also not in favor of the move to Middle East. L'Equipe recently reported that Antonela and the couple's three young children want to remain in Europe and they don't want to change their residence to Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile Al-Hilal is also trying at this point to sign contracts with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba (who have played with Messi when he was in Barcelona).

We could definitely say that signing Cristiano Ronaldo was the first step from Saudi clubs for their grand plans of making them a major force in Football. Reports are coming out that Lionel Messi will be signing to a Saudi club for the next season and then there are rumors that Karim Benzema might be moving to Saudi clubs.

But do you get my point that this doesn't change much in terms of the competitiveness of the league? In Europe we have the highest level soccer not because only Ronaldo on Messi were running around on the field, but because there was Real Madrid vs. FC Barcelona. I don't believe that you can build a Real Madrid in the Saudi Professional League. They won't be able to build several teams up from the ground in order to make the league so highly competitive that everybody wants to see it and European soccer fans start buying hundreds of millions of jerseys from Saudi Arabian clubs. Yes it was a first step, but at least a thousand other steps have to follow. You also don't want all these players in their late 30s when they are declining in performance. But the young super talents won't go there, but that is what they need. The young fans want to buy a jersey from their 22 year old idol when they first watch soccer because they can identify themselves better with younger players. Messi and Ronaldo are exceptions there. Mbappe and Haaland are better examples. I have doubts that we will see a highly competitive SPL, which is equal to European top leagues, in the next three decades.

last game with psg against Clermont where this match is messi farewell match with psg fans.
If Lionel Messi decides to finish his career in Saudi Arabia, that will be a huge success for Saudi Arabia as they would have succeeded in bringing two of the world's greatest players to play in their local League. Lionel Messi regardless of his age and the fact that he does not have as much energy as I used to is still a very good player to have in anything as he can provide world-class assist to younger players that are willing to make the run to score. If he returns to Saudi Arabia the rival battle between him and Cristiano Ronaldo will make the league one to always want to watch.

Last rumor about Lionel Messi linked with Al Hilal has been denied by Jorge Messi as Lionel Messi agent, until right now not any new team reach personal agreement with Lionel Messi after leaving PSG. But don't close possibility with Lionel Messi want to play in Saudi Pro league next season.

Last updated, Karim Benzema one step left for signing with Saudi Pro League team after excited offering and receiving 100 million euro one year and I don't think any player denied with this fantastic offering. Will Al Hilal give another excited for Lionel Messi salary above Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema? Absolutely I want to see again Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo compete although with Saudi Pro League teams.
The Saudi Arabian League really wants to improve their quality by bringing in star players in the transfer window, especially since Messi has been associated with the Saudi Arabian club.  So if Messi later joins the Al Hilal club, it will definitely be very exciting to see these two world star players meet again in an easier league. But I see some rumors that Messi still wants to stay in Europe for next season even Barcelona is the leading team to get Messi.

For now, there has been no official decision on where Messi will go next. Lionel messi will play in the last game with psg against Clermont where this match is messi farewell match with psg fans.

If it was a real offer and they turned it down then that's super dumb - what are they counting on? I doubt that any top club in Europe is interested in Messi's services after what he showed at PSG + given that Messi is still a big brand and there are corresponding salary expectations. But maybe this is just a move in the negotiation process and in fact Messi is interested in such a transition.

Each and every match on the final match day have got results. With the win against Al-Taee the table leader Al-Ittihad confirm its position and becomes the champion of the season. With a 5 point difference between the first and the second team Al-Nassr takes the second position after its 3-0 win against Al Fateh. On the final match day Ronaldo wasn't able to perform due to injury and the expectation upon Ronaldo isn't much fulfilled. Maybe a title win is much to be focused in the upcoming season of Saudi Arabia Pro League.
If I'm not mistaken, Ronaldo is contracted for a duration of 2.5 seasons, meaning that there are still two remaining seasons that he can use to be able to continue playing for Al Nassr and focus on the next season.
Al Nassr continued to play at full strength even though Ronaldo did not play and also this match was no longer decisive because the league winner was already known in the previous match after Al Nassr was only able to draw so Ittihad FC ensured the title.
If the rumors about the presence of Lionel Messi at Al Hilal and also Karim Benzema at Ittihad FC are true, it will make the championship competition more competitive next season, but the presence of these players for unreasonable fees will only make this league more known in the world media coverage will not make it one of the best leagues as said by Ronaldo because the term to be one of the best is impossible just because 2-3 big players play there.
I think so as well, he will be there until about 40 if I am not wrong and I think it will definitely not matter all that much. I know that most people will act as if that's a big deal but that doesn't really matter, I think he is going to be getting worse and worse so by the time his contract nearing ending, he will not be that much of a great player anyway, even for Saudi standards.

People think that we are bashing Ronaldo for no reason, but it's not even just about him, it's about the fact that in a much bigger and better team, he would still not be a great player but he would have other great teammates which could cover any weakness he might have, like if he was still at United then players could help him be better. Here? Here he is the best by far and nobody helps him be better and that's terrible.

I disagree when you say that signing players like Ronaldo is a big step forward, or as you precisely said it is the first step or something like that. This is not enough as the global audience wants real competition between many of the best players of the world. If there is only Ronaldo and a few others, then this helps drawing attention to the league, but it is far away from any of the European top leagues. You need an army of the best players in the world to make the SPL an authentic top league.

Yes there is a report that Messi will be signing with Al Hilal and it is yet another huge deal they cannot reject. Looks like more players will be moving to Saudi clubs as they are willing to spend huge amount of money.

if Messi joins SPL then it will surly be force and that help earn so much.
The rumours of Messi joining the Saudi premium league. Both  the players will make good force.
An official announcement already came from PSG. Messi will no longer with PSG, although this was already thought among football fans, but that matter was put to rest by PSG coach Cristophe Galtier in a speech. According to him, the star footballer will play the last match in the club's jersey against Claremont on June 4. The legendary footballer scored a total of 21 goals for PSG this season. However, he has also great contribution by assisting others. But now according to the previous idea, his destination will now go to Saud. What was heard about him with the Saudi club now it is slowly becoming clear.

Al-Ittihad's performance this season is truly extraordinary. And they deserve to win the title this season. In the 2020-2021 season, Al-Ittihad was only able to reach 3rd place in the standings. and in the 2021-2022 season Al-Ittihad has improved and managed to rank 2 in the standings. and finally this season 2022-2023 Al-ittihad reached the peak of their glory, namely winning the title by being ranked 1st in the standings.

Al-Nassr should also be proud because this season they managed to finish in 2nd place. Meanwhile last season Al-Nassr was only able to rank 3rd. Next season I hope Al-Nassr can be at the top of the standings with Cristiano Ronaldo.
A very worthy struggle for Ittihad every season they performance improved, as you said in 2021 they were in 3rd place and then after that they were in 2nd place and finally they succeeded in bringing home the trophy, different with Al Hilal this season somehow their performance is not too good.

Yes, Al-Nassr should be proud, and don't to be sad because this season their performance is not too bad either, but unfortunately Talisca could not get the golden boot.
