Before they signed Cristiano Ronaldo, most people around the world, especially those in Al-Nasr, were unaware of the saudi team. However, since then, they have gained more recognition, and now whenever they play a match, whether it be in a league, friendly, or any other type of competition, people watch them from all over the world. They play well, and their teamwork is evident in every match, but sometimes their lack of expert players in certain positions of the field causes them to lose. I think that these teams became more well-known when Cristiano Ronaldo joined them. The reason why many people now support Al-Nasr rather than the team is because of Ronaldo, the team's new signing, who has raised them above their previous standing as a footballing powerhouse.
now next player coming to SPL is Messi - Mark my word that Messi is not on vacation in Saudia
He and his family came to see if they can live there if he shifts to SPL. My great prediction - which will surely come true
messi has apologized to PSG and his team mates for going to saudi arabia without permission and making noise, as a result of messi's trip there were a lot of speculais about messi visiting arab because business is not a vacation, and to be honest, i feel better at the end messi's career, he prefers a team that can pay him big money rather than keep playing at PSG or returning to Barcelona.
I will be following the news about Messi - and I am sure it is time for him to move to Saudia for the rest of his life Messi is a legend and he must experience the other other country and league too
Rather than money at some point players prefer making changes to the game. This means Messi is following the footsteps of Ronaldo to improve and bring up football better on the Asian part. We can't be sure that Messi will be making agreement with one of the Saudi Arabia team. Also he is not behind money, because he is on the highly paid athlete list at the moment. He had earned more than enough through his football career.

With the presence of the new coach Al Nassr, in three matches, only got 1 win and 2 defeats. Dinko Jelicic has not been able to maximize the game of Al Nassr's players. For now, they are only 3 points away from Al Ittihad. I think it is unlikely that Al Nassr will be able to lift a trophy this season even though they have brought in their new coach.

Tomorrow's game against Al-Khaleej will give us an idea of how the season might end since Al Nassr will be playing before Al-Ittihad, it means Al Nassr gets the opportunity to go top of the table as they have a better good difference than Al-Ittihad. Al Nassr just have to win their game then hope Al-Ittihad doesn't win theirs. Al-Khaleej shoudn't be much of a challenge for Al Nassr as they're known to defeat them in the past and having Ronaldo on the pitch will just be an advantage to the Al Nassr squad as they can be sure of some goals from him.

Ronaldo opened the scoring for the 4:0 trashing of Al-Raed the last time the squad had a match, I have a feeling same scoreline might be repeated in the game against Al-Khaleej. Ronaldo would probably get a brace and also some assists. This is the last minute of the season and Ronaldo needs to turn up more for the Al Nassr side because that's exactly the reason why they bought him. I understand Ronaldo came in mid season but he's superior to the league and should be killing it over here and not looking for excuses.
Looking fwd - I hope Ronaldo team takes the lead and win the up coming matches

that is correct - now Messi is in hot waters - some says he has been suspended for 2 weeks and the other says he has been suspended forever.
What so ever - loosin Messi is not a got option for PSG and Saudi might get advantage of it

Ronaldo is a superstar with many fans all over the world. His signing to Saudi brought much attention to their domestic league and more viewers. As for the club performance, I don't think that Ronaldo anything to do with Ronaldo because he is trying his best in the club. Al-Naasr needs to sign one or two world class footballer and a good coach to make the club stronger. If it is true that Messi wants to go to SPL,the league will be more competitive and will create more firm to Saudi,with this move I believe so other stars  from various league will want to come and play in SPL. The Saudi wants to use football to be more famous in the world.
If truly Messi is planning to join the Saudi Arabia league it will bring more attractions to the league and it will so interesting to players like Messi and Ronaldo in the league.  Ronaldo has played vital role in Al Nassr,  I think the team still needs a professional player to gain more strength.
Messi said sorry for Saudi trip after he has been suspended by PSG. Messi has uploaded a video on instagram and apologised for going to Saudi Arabia on an unautheiresed trip.
He said ' I want to apologise to my team mates and to the club and to 458 million followers
In report he was suspended by the club after failing to turn up for training on Monday. Messi went to Saudia as part of his contract to Saudi tourist office but with out permission from PSG

Everyone already knows they came to watch and see how it is to see if they could live there, it is not a secret, we all know they are not on a holiday there that's really not a surprise to anyone. However, just because he went to see how it is, doesn't mean that he will be accepting it, sure he went there to see, but maybe he will like it there and go or maybe he will not like it there and not go.

I personally do not feel like he should, I always said that a player who can make enough money should not be considering this as an option just because they offer more money. Not like Messi is a poor person, he should not leave for MLS or SL just because there is more money there, he should go back to Barcelona for small amount and end his career there if possible.
Players have their own mindset and they know well where to go and what to do.
ROnaldo has gained so much popularity in SPL - and if Messi come to SPL and Messi and Ronaldo is playing against each other - what will be the atmosphere.
When Messi and Ronaldo are playing - there is no question about the popularity they are going gain

Both Al Nassr and Al Ittihad still have tough matches in the remaining matches this season. so we're talking a pretty tough team, Al Shabab is one team that can stop them from getting full points. so, like it or not, their new coach must have a formula to bring his team to wipe out all the remaining matches with a win.

On the other hand, Al Ittihad still has a tough match that will travel to Al Hilal's headquarters. in this match, Al Ittihad could have lost full points, or fallen from the home team. that means, Al Ittihad gave Al Nassr the opportunity to shift their ranking on the standings board. however, if the opposite happens. With that, Al Ittihad can confirm winning the Saudi Pro League trophy this season.

But for sure, there are still 5 games remaining. that means, opportunities are always open for Al Nassr. unfortunately, they should expect Al Ittihad to slip up in his few bouts. after that, Al Nassr has the opportunity to win the league trophy. but with the condition, win all the rest of his fight. the point is, this competition is still interesting for us to follow until it's over.
Both the teams have got good opportunity. Team to win the highest will lift the trophy and the losing team miss it. By this time if the league have got a match between Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad, this could've been very interesting. Earlier it was Al-Ittihad to win against Al-Nassr, and now things can be in favour of Al-Nassr.

Winning and lifting the trophy is different from depending on the opponent for the trophy. Al-Ittihad is at a better position than Al-Nassr and this shows Al-Nassr wants continuous win and the loss of Al-Ittihad. For now we can't be conclusive, tomorrow's match of Al-Nassr says the result of Saudi Arabia Pro League to some margin.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr splash is big league, but let's not overlook their previous triumphs. Nine titles before his arrival – not too shabby! It's like someone suddenly famous after an Oscar win, but they were already a powerhouse.

And now? Ronaldo's arrival electrified the team and league. Messi joining in? That's an epic superhero duo – except it's football legends, skyrocketing the league to stratospheric levels!

Aristotle said, "Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work." Ronaldo and Messi's passion is infectious. Their zeal will spark local talent, and who knows? Maybe we'll witness the rise of the next Saudi Arabian football sensation!
Even before the presence of Ronaldo Al-Nassr is one among the lead team to win title. Addition of Ronaldo made the team even stronger. With his presence the team and the entire league have gained importance and the viewer base have increased drastically. More popular players into the league makes it even more successful. This is one among the league that have got good history. Already Saudi Arabia is highly supportive for football compared to many other Asian countries. Upon the same it doesn't look to be surprising to see the next football sensation coming from Saudi Arabia.

I usually would agree with you, but the sums of money that guys like Ronaldo and Messi are offered, are so absurdly high that it would also get me thinking how even a guy like Messi could deny it? When you have half a billion in your account and someone opens the door for another billion to be added in no time, it is probably at least worth considering the offer. Cheesy

It is even crazier than that. He signed an ambassador contract for roughly 30 million dollars a year and he is now getting offered a 600 million dollars per year contract if he decides to go to Saudi Arabia. He could probably be making 2 billion or something when he decides to spend a couple of years there and the ambassador contract is easy money for him. Smile a bit, show up on a couple of events and post some pictures on Instagram. The money is huge and I am sure that a lot of people would consider signing the contract even if they had half a billion already. That is what I mean, the sums are absurd...

If it wasn't for the recent slump, Al Nasr would have been the leader right now. They lost El Hilal and they got a draw against Al Feiha, that's 5 points lost, they could have gotten 6 points and instead got 1 point total from that 2 games, and that is the reason they are not leading. They are still trailing by 3 points, there is 5 more games left but they are not looking good. They lost to Al Wehda in the cup as well which is a proof that they are just not doing that well.

I think a manager change will definitely do wonders for them, a world class manager could bring so much change to a team, they could be doing ten times better than this with literally exactly same team if they could only hire someone that has a better past and great management skills.

no one cares about this league and cups of arabia, the focus is on soccer in europe, and that's sad but it's the truth, all players dream of playing in europe, being in the european champions league where the best of the best are playing
~~~~
Dude, I believe that you are still stuck in the 20th century. Arabian leagues are some of the most popular in the world now. Saudi Professional League is now watched across the globe and the signing of Ronaldo by Al Nassr has further increased the popularity of the league. And in the next few years, the situation will change further. Saudi Arabian monarchy has big plans related to sports events and they are trying really hard to win the hosting rights for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. And Ronaldo is just the tip of the iceberg. Don't be surprised if you see star players such as Kylian Mbappé and Neymar representing the SPL sides within the next few years.
@sithara007 truly you don't understand football, as of today Arabia league is only of the most talking about in the world. It has advanced beyond what you think. Their tv rights world over are increasing rapidly and players are considering playing their than Europe. I believe in the next transf window it will shock you to see how many big players they will sign into the league. Ronaldo effect had turned Arabia league to world class.
LOL.. you got it wrong. I was saying that the Saudi Professional League is now very popular across the globe. It was Slow death who tried to downplay the Arabian leagues. I still would not go to the extent to say that Saudi Professional League is the most popular football league in the world. But they do rank among the top-10 leagues. And it is not just the presence of Ronaldo. A number of quality overseas players are participating in this league and there are rumors that some of the big names in Europe and South America are considering moving to the SPL.
@Sithara007 while it’s definitely not the number one league, but due to the mere presence of Ronaldo it’s buzzing in the same wavelength as the premier league. Furthermore when more star player’s decide to join in the summer transfer window I feel that it’s popularity might become equal to or even more than the Premier League, and thus I won’t be surprised if many young player’s down the year’s prioritise joining it first over other leagues.
Before u start seeing Saudi Arbia professional league to be in the same height as EPL,  please know that Even when Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar,  iniesta, and so many other world class players were playing in Spanish la liga and German Bundesliga, EPL was still considered the best league.
epl isn't considered the best league because of the number of stars playing in it. Ratings like  goals per game, red cards per game, continental wins per season and other factors are also involved. I don't see Saudi Arabian league reaching EPL in this ratings, not even in the next 10 years.
The highest paid signing of Ronaldo have given visibility to the league and the Saudi Arabia team. This is true, and we need to know this league have been started during the year 1976. Such an old league should have got much popularity, but this year only the World have known about it. The part of Ronaldo is big, and even before the signing of Ronaldo the team Al-Nassr have won the title 9 times. Even the very first season is won by Al-Nassr, which means the team too have big history. The presence of Ronaldo have made the team even better and the expectation among the people have increased.
They are still trailing by 3 points, there is 5 more games left but they are not looking good. They lost to Al Wehda in the cup as well which is a proof that they are just not doing that well.
I think a manager change will definitely do wonders for them, a world class manager could bring so much change to a team, they could be doing ten times better than this with literally exactly same team if they could only hire someone that has a better past and great management skills.
I am getting to know the real reasons behind the management saga in that club. But the media will always make it be as if Ronaldo is the problem in every team that he goes. I think this has little or nothing to do with Ronaldo.
There is no justification that that club will spend such amoubt of money and will not win the league title.
If the coaching is the problem, it will not be very difficult to change coach.
Even this jobless coaches in England can do a good job in that League.
no one cares about this league and cups of arabia, the focus is on soccer in europe, and that's sad but it's the truth, all players dream of playing in europe, being in the european champions league where the best of the best are playing
Dude, I believe that you are still stuck in the 20th century. Arabian leagues are some of the most popular in the world now. Saudi Professional League is now watched across the globe and the signing of Ronaldo by Al Nassr has further increased the popularity of the league. And in the next few years, the situation will change further. Saudi Arabian monarchy has big plans related to sports events and they are trying really hard to win the hosting rights for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. And Ronaldo is just the tip of the iceberg. Don't be surprised if you see star players such as Kylian Mbappé and Neymar representing the SPL sides within the next few years.
@sithara007 truly you don't understand football, as of today Arabia league is only of the most talking about in the world. It has advanced beyond what you think. Their tv rights world over are increasing rapidly and players are considering playing their than Europe. I believe in the next transf window it will shock you to see how many big players they will sign into the league. Ronaldo effect had turned Arabia league to world class.
LOL.. you got it wrong. I was saying that the Saudi Professional League is now very popular across the globe. It was Slow death who tried to downplay the Arabian leagues. I still would not go to the extent to say that Saudi Professional League is the most popular football league in the world. But they do rank among the top-10 leagues. And it is not just the presence of Ronaldo. A number of quality overseas players are participating in this league and there are rumors that some of the big names in Europe and South America are considering moving to the SPL.
@Sithara007 while it’s definitely not the number one league, but due to the mere presence of Ronaldo it’s buzzing in the same wavelength as the premier league. Furthermore when more star player’s decide to join in the summer transfer window I feel that it’s popularity might become equal to or even more than the Premier League, and thus I won’t be surprised if many young player’s down the year’s prioritise joining it first over other leagues.
Before u start seeing Saudi Arbia professional league to be in the same height as EPL,  please know that Even when Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar,  iniesta, and so many other world class players were playing in Spanish la liga and German Bundesliga, EPL was still considered the best league.
epl isn't considered the best league because of the number of stars playing in it. Ratings like  goals per game, red cards per game, continental wins per season and other factors are also involved. I don't see Saudi Arabian league reaching EPL in this ratings, not even in the next 10 years.
Before they signed Cristiano Ronaldo, most people around the world, especially those in Al-Nasr, were unaware of the saudi team. However, since then, they have gained more recognition, and now whenever they play a match, whether it be in a league, friendly, or any other type of competition, people watch them from all over the world. They play well, and their teamwork is evident in every match, but sometimes their lack of expert players in certain positions of the field causes them to lose. I think that these teams became more well-known when Cristiano Ronaldo joined them. The reason why many people now support Al-Nasr rather than the team is because of Ronaldo, the team's new signing, who has raised them above their previous standing as a footballing powerhouse.
The highest paid signing of Ronaldo have given visibility to the league and the Saudi Arabia team. This is true, and we need to know this league have been started during the year 1976. Such an old league should have got much popularity, but this year only the World have known about it. The part of Ronaldo is big, and even before the signing of Ronaldo the team Al-Nassr have won the title 9 times. Even the very first season is won by Al-Nassr, which means the team too have big history. The presence of Ronaldo have made the team even better and the expectation among the people have increased.
