As I have stated before, Saudis could be rich but they are not rich enough to keep this going, for example if they did this for all 11, that would be 1.1 billion a year, we all know they won't do that, so they will pay less, and even at 50 million a year, that's 550 million a year, they won't even do that. Which means that they will get a few token players like these, and a few more smaller names instead of huge names, like iago aspas and so forth, and they will call it a day, won't make them top 10 let alone top 5.
Yes, because young players will certainly settle down playing in Europe because of course, playing in Europe is a high motivation for achievement. So, to move and play in Saudi Arabia at least these players have entered retirement age. Thus, I agree about the amount of salary earned by star players who are willing to play in Saudi Arabia because after all, because they have entered retirement age, in the end these teams will only pay these players maybe only for one or two seasons. Therefore, I think the saudi professional league might be an alternative for them before retiring, because here they can receive high pay before retiring.
I think Benzema is the second star after Ronaldo coming here.Benzema said I am a Muslim and I feel at home here so I talked with my family and they are happy for this decision I took.He maybe is there because of the money and say such things to justify his move which he has gotten to Al Ittihad which is the winner of this last season there and Cristiano is with Al Nassr, making this league at least somewhat more strong and beautiful to watch. An interesting fact is that both players have been Real Madrid ex players, with Ronaldo coming from United while Benzema straight from Real Madrid. Now the only one missing in this league is Messi .
