I see now that Moutinho from Wolves could be the next to join the Saudi League. It’s a real shame Messi didn’t go there but that just proves that money can’t buy everything. It’s a really different life out there but it doesn’t seem to be stopping multiple older stars from swapping Europe for Saudi Arabia. Will be really interesting to see how the league develops over the next few years.
I think they will keep chasing Messi because at the end thats the legend they would be needing
Messi won't take long and retire, i'm pretty sure of that, he would either retire in Miami or maybe go back to either Barcelona or even Newell's Old Boys and reitre there, but there are still other players that they can bring to lift the league even more and make it more interesting to foreigners like Di Maria, Modric...etc

It won't happen. Messi already agreed to join with intermiami rather than al hilal. that makes al hilal will be trying to find another target that can be brought to the SPL. I see no chance for hilal to get messi now or at least until the end of transfer season.
Some players like busquets and suarez were also following messi to join in intermiami as well. This club owner by beckham was the weakest club in MLS. bekcham hope with the come of messi will able to change everything right now.

Let's talk about another player that may be possible to come to the al hilal very soon. In my opinion that if al hilal will be able to find another super start to join in its club.

Al ahli and nassrs are still trying so hard to buy more players from EU. Ittihad has been successfully securing kante and benzema but it's not enough.

Actually money can buy everything because in this case, Messi is going to get a better deal at MLS than the Saudi Arabia league. The Saudis came with offers that'll only benefit Messi instantly but the offers of MLS would benefit Messi for a life time. He's going to get a share in apple share and adidas and might also be getting similar deal to David Beckham deals that'll give him the right to buy a club for much lesser market value than the club will be valued as of when he wants to purchase the club. Messi deals hasn't been fully revealed but there's every chance it was the better deal than what the Saudis were offering. I'm glad too that Messi didn't go to Saudi Arabia because that would have shifted the whole attention to the league and it would had spoiled football.

I'm not happy Ronaldo is playing there either, he should look for a way to come back to Europe and entertain us because football has been boring lately (nothing special is happening in Europe). No spectacular display anymore. Kante moving to Saudi Arabia is understandable and the same thing with Benzema because this guys has nothing left to offer to football in Europe, Kante is wornout and Benzema needs to give room for younger strikers to shine at Real Madrid to help them compete with clubs like Manchester city in the champions league.

He had suffered a hamstring injury and missed 6 months of the season in PL, this is a serious problem for Al-Ittihad, even though both parties have an agreement, but Al-Ittihad wants to make sure from the medical test, hopefully nothing happens , so that Kante can play with Benzema at Al-Ittihad.
Kante is a very good Defensive Midfielder, he will bring a lot of balance to Al-Ittihad midfield if he is fully fit. Maybe after this recovery Ngolo kante will not be injured anytime soon again since that the Saudi League is not as physical and demanding as the Premier League was. It will be bad business for the Saudi Arabians if after just bringing him to the club for such an attractive amount of money he goes into injury and is unable to play in many games for the season coming.
Ngolo Kante has fully recovered from the injury that caused him the better part of last season and kept him sidelined from delivering those world class performances he's known for.
He'll surely be a good signing for his new Arabian club because of the fact that he knows how to quickly adapt to new environments and club just as he did when he left Leicester to join Chelsea after helping the latter win the English Premier against all odds.

As we have things right now most chances Saudi League could be good for the many players those are not able to have their required response from the UEFA clubs with mostly prefer to this league because of quality and competition level but as Saudis are doing most chances they will be also able to have positive results in coming years but still living here is never been easy for players because its completely different place with few stick rules we have few reports about Ronaldo's wife is also having complaints, but they are trying to adjust just because of this Messi is also not here.

But, now with the money and influence things could be good and surely Saudis will also try to increase quality for having better player from around the world here in this league.

Messi's move to Inter Miami has left everyone in a tizzy. Messi's pre-planning of his decision is now almost clear. He is focused not only on money but also on career.

Saudi clubs have invited the world's best footballers to introduce themselves to the world. Ronaldo's presence there really brought the league to the top of the discussion. If Al-Hilal club was able to get Messi in their team then maybe the league would have gained better popularity. It was thought Messi would head to Al Hilal after his official departure from PSG, but that didn't happen.

I am not very sure of this because not much he can be done at Inter Miami for his career he can't compete in the Champions League the same thing if he goes to the Saudi League so Messi must have other reasons that we cannot guess. Like what we hear in the media in the end Messi will come to the Saudi League between the next 1-2 years and that's the right time to retire.

Don't ever compare Asia to Europe, for me it's very different, it's just that the SPL is getting busier now because there are star players going there so the atmosphere of this league will be a little different with the star players Ronaldo and Benzema.

That's right, we can't compare between the leagues in Asia and Europe because they are very, very different. However, it is undeniable that the arrival of star players from Europe to Asia (especially the SPL) has made Asia pay more attention to the world.

I saw a little news that Kante has reached an agreement, it's just that there are a few obstacles from medical tests so this process is a little hampered, I know that Kante has a long history of injuries when he was with Chelsea who was almost absent for a long time there, maybe with the injury he has not fully recovered but I also look forward to this exciting news.

It seems that the rumors about the presence of Busquets and Suarez who will join Inter Miami are one of the strong reasons for Messi to reject Al-Hilal's offer. Even though it would be very unfortunate if the offer from Al-Hilal was rejected even though the money that came was much bigger. It looks like we failed to witness the two GOAT rivals between Ronaldo and Messi in the SPL next season, but we will still see a duel between the former Real Madrid player, Ronaldo against Benzema who will defend the Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad teams respectively.
Indeed, it seems so, because Busquets was a friend of Messi and he got back together playing football at Inter Miami. Of course, if accept Al Hilal's offer, Messi will raise the spirits of the Al Hilal squad for next season, also Messi will receive a lot of praise from the fans, in addition to big money. Yes, Benzema it is likely that he will show extraordinary performance and I'm sure Benzema will also be very comfortable in Ittihad, hopefully.

You're right in expressing your concern about Karim Benzema's statement. It indeed has sparked a considerable debate. However, the crux of this situation is the intertwining of sport and personal faith, isn't it? Based on the information we have, Ronaldo was a significant factor in Benzema's decision to join the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo's persuasion seemed to have as much influence on Benzema as his affinity for his faith.

In this light, can we really say that Benzema's commitment to France is questionable? A player may feel an attachment to multiple countries for different reasons. In this complex, interconnected world, isn't it possible for one to wear multiple hats without compromising loyalty? Surely, we must allow room for multi-dimensional identities.

If Ronaldo and his faith have had equal influence on his decision, at least one of those factors is weird. As far as I know Benzema is very religious and if Ronaldo has the same influence on his decision as his faith does, should I conclude that Ronaldo is the holy god? Cheesy

@slapper as you know you are a great poster, but let me give you the full break down of the three influential factors and their relative impact on Benzema's decision.

1) Faith  0.1%
2) Ronaldo 0.1%
3) Money 99.8%

See you are right! Faith has had as much influence on Benzema's decision as Ronaldo's word.

I don't like all this talk about religion. Karim Benzema is saying that he is a Muslim and therefore he is happy to play in Saudi Arabia. In that case what is his opinion about the country of his birth? He represented France for one and half decade, and from his statement should we assume that he doesn't feel any loyalty to that country because the majority of the population is not following his religion? This is the first time I am hearing a statement from some big international player that he preferred a particular club mainly because of religion. Extremely disappointing.

Religious people sometimes become more radical with age, maybe something similar happened to Benzema. I also hate when sports are mixed with politics or religion or whatever, and I wasn't thrilled with his statement, even if it came from the heart. I hope his public relations managers will be able to correct the course of his thoughts, or at least public statements, so that after them people do not have different conflicting thoughts.

Messi is always in the spotlight indeed the latest news is that Messi is willing to join Inter Miami but previously there was other news he did not refuse to join the Saudi league rumors he delayed a year to join there meaning he still has an interest in joining anywhere it's just that next season he wants to try the experience in the American league, Messi  father plays a role in a negotiation.
Of course he's been in the spotlight in the transfer market after Messi became a player on a free transfer this season.  But in other words, Messi wants to find new challenges next season by joining Inter Miami.
Now this is an important point if a large salary offer is not necessarily able to convince the players to accept their offer but it all depends on the situation and atmosphere that makes them turn to another team.

We hope all the decisions he makes in this transfer window are the best for him. I think for now Al Nassr is one of the Saudi Arabian clubs that has caught the attention of football spectators this season because of Ronaldo's presence in their squad.

Not sure about the performance though. Karim Benzema is 35 years old and age-wise he is not much younger than Ronaldo. Saudi Professional League should not be a refuge for all those players who are looking for a big fat paycheck towards the end of their career. That is why I liked the contract signed between N'Golo Kante and Al-Ittihad (worth €100 million). Kante is 32 years old and still has a lot of time left in his career. The long term plan of Saudis is to be able to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup. I have to say that they are moving in the right direction.
Kante may be using ittihad as a way to end his career. He was getting €100 million for in any season for two years. It's caused by ittihad has been signing him for two years.
Kante will get €200 million in total which is a lot compared his salary in chelsea when he was only receiving around €15 million for a season. Glad to see that if he has the same vision as benzema. Kante will also able to retire from football if he wants after he will be playing in ittihad.

Since he has same religion as benzema and it could also become his main reason. Im happy to see that kante was making it. Ittihad will become his new home very soon.
He will be also playing with his friend benzema as both were also coming from france.
I hope that saudi will become the next host for the world cuo.

Oh really! The best league is Saudi, lol. I think they are thinking of seeing Messi, CR7 face each other, it would be the only good thing about going to that league, there is no level there, this is a league to die with pockets full of money, and the players (CR7) are crossing their fingers, but it will not happen ., but it will not happen.

Just watch out in some few years and see the power of money. They’re already attracting other big players into their league which makes the world attention turn into them. If not that Messi was linked to transfer to the South American league, the Saudi league is most times mentioned than the MLS. Even in this forum, I haven’t come across any thread about MLS but we already have a thread discussing about Saudi league. That’s the difference you can spot already.

The term is only in media coverage because of course the fans of the players who move to the Saudi Pro League want to keep following how their idols continue their careers, but if someone says that it will become one of the best leagues in the world it's a little exaggerated, bringing in star players will only change part small, and if we realize that the stars to finally go there are players who are over 30 years old, it means that it has reached the end of the football career of these players so they are attracted there because they play in a league with less competition for a fee which is fantastic, it will be very fun, especially if in his career the player has already achieved many achievements.
I am quite doubtful that if the huge money offered to young players who are shining will be accepted because of course continuing to play in the European leagues will be the first choice unless the player has other reasons.

There will be more players to come. Saudi pro league clubs have not yet stopped to add more and more good players into the league. As far as i know if there will be some european players to come.

It's very good to see how saudi league was seriously trying to build its league to be even better even though it was using the service from european players but it's really good for sure.

Some names that potentially to be the next players that will be playing on saudi pro league

Wilfried zaha

Aubameyang

Sanchez

Iago aspas

I hope that their transfers can be completed easily. that will make saudi pro league becomes even bigger thanbefore.
I have read some information about the transfer rumors of several players who will join and play in the Saudi Pro League.
With several European players who will play in the Saudi League, I am sure that as time goes on, this league will develop and be loved by football fans like some of the European Leagues.
The dream of making the Saudi Pro League bigger and developing will definitely come true in the future because the Saudi football association always tries its best to be able to develop football there as well as possible.

I suppose that adding more substantial players will make the league larger and more competitive. The Saudi pro league gained popularity after signing Cristiano Ronaldo, and the top elite clubs are eager to bring in more exceptional players from European leagues this season. The players indicated above are most likely good players; however, not all will agree to join the Saudi team; some may wish to remain in elite leagues. Saudi clubs have the figures that whenever they placed their bids for players, the club intends to sell them with immediate effect.

Before Ronaldo arrived, people didn't know much about the Saudi football club. Since Ronaldo joined the Saudi club, Saudi football clubs started to become popular among people. Currently, another star, Karim Benzema, has created a global response by joining the Saudi Football Club. In this way, if all the star players start coming to Saudi Arabia, the Saudi football club will gain a lot of popularity. Currently Saudi Pro-League has become more attractive to people than the Pro-League of unique countries. And yes, it will get more interesting next season when the competition with Ronaldo and Karim Benzema starts.
