The Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 competition is quite tight if we look at the points acquisition from the top of the standings to the team that is in 13th place.

The Al Nassr FC vs Al Taee match will be Cristiano Ronaldo's first match if the player who earns the most expensive fee plays later.
Al Nassr FC is currently strengthened by some famous players after I traced the club profile.
Against Al Taee, it looks like Al Nassr will win easily even though I haven't followed this league.

It is clear that the impact of Ronaldo's presence has made them improve in many factors and not only in terms of Al-Nassr, but from everything involved such as the Saudi Professional League, of course, they will receive more attention than usual.

Saudi Arabia is undergoing a big change process in all domains since the young crown price Mohammed Ben Salman took control of the state, so yes the presence of Ronaldo will help them in many domains. In addition, they are preparing to host the World Cup 2030 beside Egypt and Greece.

But I wonder, when Ronaldo will be able to play for Al-Nassr, because it seems so far Ronaldo is still not available or there is still something to be done first.
Meanwhile, today Al-Nassr will play at home against Al Taee, and I think with Al-Nassr currently at the top of the standings, of course they still have a chance to win.

He won't play as the club still hasn't registered him in their players list because there's no place for a foriegn player, Saudi league has limits for the number of foriegn players in a club, therefore they need to sell or lend a player before they're able to register Ronaldo.

This is very great, the impact of Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival on Arab soil to continue his profession as a footballer changed the whole world's view of the league which was almost inaudible to me, and today I read a thread about the Saudi Professional League discussion which means it is very welcomed by members of the Bitcointalk forum, in my opinion, it is natural for us to discuss football in Arab lands considering that there are already many media broadcasting and discussing SPL.
I also hope that the next SPL match can be on the gambling platform for us to start something new Grin

Nice threads. Glad to see this is the right time to open this thread. Cristona Ronaldo will be a name that will take the competition one step ahead in this league. Al-Nassr team is in very good shape. After Ronaldo transfer, they already had good players, now the world star is in this team. I would like this league to be more competitive. I wish football to be at the top level not only in Europe but also in other leagues. I will start to follow the Arabian league and I will take a look at it from time to time and share my ideas on this thread.

When the deal was first announced, everyone was making fun of Al Nassr. The salary offered by them was almost 7 times higher than what Ronaldo was receiving at Manchester United. But now it is looking more like a mutually beneficial deal which will bring enormous benefits to the league (Saudi Professional League) as well as the club (Al Nassr FC). With just one masterstroke, the Saudi Professional League has become one of the most popular football leagues in the world all of a sudden. Now millions of global fans are following the games.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best athletes in the world.  It has become a brand in its own right.  When I think of success, I think of Cristiano Ronaldo.  So I understand that Saudi Arabia is popular right now.  It has the effect of Cristiano Ronaldo.  I read that Cristiano Ronaldo is unable to play because he is currently suspended for 2 matches by the FA.  If so, he will not be on the field in today's game.

Ronaldo has brought the world to Saudi Arabia and FIFA really needs Ronaldo to make more money as he is a superstar. They are finding every possible means to fix a match for Al Nassr to play in so that people can see Ronaldo's great performance. I know if he will be playing in their next match,he must net the post, due to his eagerness to show the Saudis his worth. If Ronaldo is in Suadi Arabia and finally if it is true that Messi is also planning to come if this happens, there will be hope for the SPL to be strong,in the sense that there is nothing impossible, young players who look up to these two players as role model can also accept coming to play in SPL.

Thank you Op for creating this topic. This is a thread that shows the evidence of Ronaldo effect in the global status. The Saudi professional league from henceforth will be active in this forum and other good players will be joining the league.
We can also call this thread Ronaldo thread because more than 80% of what is going to be discussed here is Ronaldo.
By looking at the popularity of Al Nassr's and Saudi Pro league recently one can tell how much celebrated player Ronaldo is and how he can change the fate of any small league .
Just his introductory ceremony made stadiums packed to full , just imagine the games he's going to play how many will come to watch.
This is a good move by Al Nassr to include Ronaldo in their team , reat of teams should also think of such move.

But apart from that I was quite surprised too, because in the Saudi Professional League there is a team that has good domination and that is Al-Hilal. But because at this moment Al-Nassr already has Ronaldo, it seems that Al-Hilal will find it difficult to get the title in succession.
I don't know for sure, whether the Saudi Professional League will be interesting to watch for the match as a whole, or maybe they will only watch when Ronaldo plays, maybe they will only look forward to the Al-Nassr match.

After Ronaldo signed for Al-Hilal there are news that Messi also signing for some Saudi football club? Can someone tell that its true or just speculation. If Messi is also coming to Saudi then there will be more players joining in and Saudi league may be like English premier league.
Cristiano Ronaldo signed with Al-Nassr, not Al-Hilal. For Lionel Messi at the moment it's just speculation and it's very unlikely considering that Messi will only extend his contract in 2023 and no one knows for sure how many more years he will be in the PSG uniform, this news has been previously confirmed by journalist Fabrizio Romano. It is possible that even if Messi is interested in joining an SPL club, of course when his contract period is up with PSG and that does not rule out the possibility that the duel between these two mega stars will continue in the SPL.

I didn't know that Al Nassr has another name, namely Al Hilal, but looking at Google, a different club, Al Nassr, is in position 1 and Al Hilal is in position 3, whose full name is Al Hilal Rijad.
Messi still has 1 year left on his contract at PSG, and even though many big players will join Arab clubs, it doesn't mean that they can easily make the league there like the Premier League or other famous leagues because these great players are already old, meaning they are approaching retirement and there will be a decline in theirs performances

Al Nassr will have theirs match today against the team in 7th position, will Ronaldo start from the first half in this match? but of all what is most eagerly awaited if he actually plays is whether to score goals and bring the club that has paid him with a fantastic value a victory.

However, if we are talking about facing PSG, that's a team with nearly a billion dollars worth and Ronaldo needs to learn how his teammates play before that game to be ready.
It is reported that it is true that there will be a test match against PSG, but the date is uncertain when it will be announced. But according to one of the GOAL media the match will be held on January 19, 2023. Looking at the match schedule in the SPL for Al-Nassr that date is empty and there are no matches at all. But if this is true, this might be the last meeting for Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, after several years they rarely met in a single match in European competition.

Al-Ittihad Vs Al-Hilal Saudi At the time of the match, Al-Hilal Saudi is leading by one goal.  Their players and player setup are very good.  Al Ittihad Club made several attacks but could never get the ball into the goal post.  But as a result of many efforts, they had to lose today's result.  Looking at the points table we see Al-Hilal Saudi Club winning.  Despite their excellent attacking play and hundreds of attempts, they managed to score a goal.

I think it would be much better if he could play before the friendly. That would get him some understanding how the team plays and how good or bad they are. The club is not terrible at all, they are pretty decent, like a small European nation level talent at the very least. Ronaldo has faced those before, just this year when he was with United he faced teams that are much worse than Al-Nassr to be fair, and that's a big part of it.

However, if we are talking about facing PSG, that's a team with nearly a billion dollars worth and Ronaldo needs to learn how his teammates play before that game to be ready.

Wow, I'm very happy to see the topic of the Saudi Professional League (SPL) on this board, as we know that after Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr, this league is getting more attention from the public. Hopefully with this topic, we can get to know the Saudi Professional League deeper and better.

Here I also want to provide a list of players who used to be top in Europe and are now playing in this league, here is the list:

1. Al-Nassr
David Ospina (GK) - Anderson Talisca (MF) - Cristiano Ronaldo (FW) - Vincent Aboubakar (FW)

2. Al-Shabab
Grzegorz Krychowiak (MF) - Ever Banega (MF) - Santi Mina (CF)

3. Al-Ittihad
Helder Costa (MF)

4. Al-Hilal
Odion Ighalo (CF) - Luciano Vietto (CF)

5. Abha
Felipe Caicedo (CF)
THank God Someone created this thread. I am a big CR7 fan and his joining Al-Nassr is such a big success to the Saudis.

LOL, this reminds me of teams that bring in players from Indonesia, they get a large number of followers on instagram like lechia gdansk and tokyo verdy  Cheesy Cheesy

Lol their new followers on instagram is increasing every day even in next 24 hours i am sure it will reach 10 million followers which is currently 9.6 million
Obviously this is the Ronaldo effect about 2% of his followers follow Al Nassr accounts and this will continue to grow this is another advantage that Al Nassr get besides financial benefits.

Today Ronaldo will play his first match with Al Nassr we are all looking forward to how Ronaldo scores his first goal as well, I'm guessing all tickets will be sold out
especially they play at home so all the supporters can watch live. Anyone check the betting markets for this match? the handicap is -2  Al Nassr or 1.2 for Money Line.
Ronaldo will score today , he always score in  his first appearance in every club he has played. Undoubted he will score, Al Nassr is now popular because of Ronaldo effect.
Their media pages followes are increasing daily because of the man Ronaldo.
Any club that sign do gain excess

I watched highlights of some matches of Arabian league it was very entertaining and their match coverage was very standard including picture quality and they also have VAR installed in all the stadia, I must commend their football authority for providing good facilities now that Ronaldo had signed for Al-Nassr I will be watching some of their live matches if played at a convenient time as well as watching their match highlights regularly, I am looking forward to watching Ronaldo score many more goals in that league as well as breaking more records, he would attract more viewers to the Arabian league because of his numerous fans across the world.

The match between Al-Nassr - Al Taee has been postponed due to bad weather according to live score, I was expecting to watch the game since the Saudi Professional League has been the latest news following the record signing of CR7 in the team, despite the game not going to be his debut match due to an uncleared match ban he has in his former club in England but hopefully, the superstar will be in action for Al-Nassr after two matches and we will get to see him in action again.
