Yes saving Bitcoins for our future and the future of our families is really awesome idea, because the price of Bitcoin is actually high and it will be higher for sure in the next coming years
Saving Bitcoins for our future is without any doubt a good idea , as the Bitcoin's price is increasing highly fast. So may be holders will get really good fortunate if they started to hold their BTC for the long run
A good topic to share with. I have just began my journey. Started my career few months back here. Joined in the campaign and posting. Waiting to experience the btc come to wallet. I really love to save the bitcoins I earn via campaigns. I am sure this would really help me fulfill my family needs and expenses for now. Will save more if I have btc after satisfying my needs. Would really love to use the saving for my children's future.

That's good if you are saving it for your future and maybe for your future children/grand children... But I think no need to save a bitcoin for your granny...They don't need it and most probably it would not sound money to them...Grand parents don't need those... Anyway, I am also planning on saving bitcoin for the future but for now, no plan on starting it yet... Maybe later on...
Well! Of course, that's a good idea. But for now i will used it for my better future and that better future could help to my children in the near future.

Thats a cool idea. But I would rather open like a savings account for them, just to be safe. Not saying that btc in unsafe though, it's just that its safer to use local currency.
well. everyone have different point of view... the reality is both are safe if you are smart enough. and if you are not a smart person then both are unsafe.. advantage of using bitcoin is you can control them your self. and for long term saving it is better than saving in bank. because bitcoin price increase with the time.
Yes saving bitcoin for future is good in compare to saving them in banks where banks will earn profits on your money and will pay you interest in peanuts so its better to save money in bitcoins as it will grow over a period of time.

If I can maker enough money with Bitcoin to also provide for them then I will do that but right now I am first in line. I am making use of Bitcoin because I can really use the money.

I will not prefer to save for my children or grand children as there is a sure shot possibility that bitcoin would not be alive at that time and it would have been replaced by some other technology.
Yes there is no assurance that bitcoin will still existing at that time. id rather save for my kids to secure that they will going to have a better future and endorse to them the good side of btc. then my children would be the one to decide if they will going to save btc for their kids.
I am against the idea of storing BTCs for children/grandchildren. Technology is rapidly evolving, and in 5 to 10 years time, a better concept is going to replace the Bitcoins. Remember the floppy discs? When they were first marketed in the 1970s, people went crazy after them. Gradually, they were replaced with better technology (USB sticks, CD ROMs.etc). The same will happen to BTC as well.

Yeah if price goes higher then it will help our children in their personal life as they can expect good and comfortable life so saving for them is a good idea I guess.
It is a good idea really. But not to the point that you are feeding all to your grandchildren all of your bitcoin savings. You can use your saved bitcoins for their education, insurance, and other investment that will make their life easier but not to the point that they will not work hard in life. You should just do these for ease and not as a way to spoon feed to them.
But this is not a valid reason to not save for your descendants. Of course, Bitcoin could fail and the price could be go to zero, but it also could be a success and the price will go to the moon. There are always at least to options: Mostly 1 and 0.

Why would I save it for them ? Since when you're talented you make your capital grow, keeping it in reserve is getting money out of your hands and destroying potential earnings that could go toward them.

if I succeed with my venture trading alt coin I will save 1 btc for my grand son I think having it kept properly and wait for them to grow hopefully I'm still alive on that time so I can see what will bitcoin can become after 30 years.Well what I am trying to do is that I am going to keep on collecting bitcoins and once I had enough already maybe 10 bitcoins with my entire life.
I am going to allocate the 2 bitcoins for future purposes I will just going to put it to my cold storage and I am going to do nothing with it.

Where I'm at you can't find a savings account that pays more than 1% interest. That might buy your descendants a double cheeseburger. Far more fun to take a wild bet on the future and see where it ends up.
With bitcoin, however, you can take a gamble (I think it is rather 'safe gamble', because I doubt BTC will ever go 'bankrupt') that your BTC will be worth much more in the future.
