SC is very longterm. I think you can even sell now, buy some short term, take out the invested short term money and rebuy sia at same price. Having your money in Sia at the moment, is like having a Ferrari in the garage not driving it.
Basic investment strategies that we preach:
1. Take some profit ALWAYS (when in profit)
3. Size positions at strong support levels
3. When all else fails, bag hold (provided you did your due diligence & the coin you picked is good)
SC looks like one of the better coins so be patient.

Crypto is unpredictable
People who hold cryptos should expect that knowing btc continues to rise. Siacoin will recover again so this is a good buy opportunity from people who sell theirs because of FUD.

That's the way I see it as well. Siacoin is still one of the few coins with an actual working product - albeit still a bit clumsily and not yet ready for mass consumption.

Unlike before, the value of SC is considered by most investors. but as of now, no one will care for that. most of them wants easy money by riding pump / shit coins. I have witness SC rise and fall, definitely a good project but lack of marketing from devs.
To be honest, the highest price of Siacoin in few months ago just by MLM groups pumped this coin, and now is the time for comeback to real value of Siacoin. I don't think the news Asic mining for altcoin coin mining GPU can helps it growth

SC looks good to me, I got in at 163, it's down a little but seems like it's trying to pick up.
I feel bad for the people that got in at 750, 500 etc... ouch that's gotta hurt. Maybe pick up a little more while it's cheap? You'll need less of a recovery to get out from underwater.

the thing is that with so many new coins appears, this project is getting less and less attention. sia should be a decent project for the long term, I think it will have a decent future.
Yes, you are right many people are looking for a new opportunity which is giving more beneficial to them but at the same time, people should have to consider SIA has great potential where people can make double returns. The thing is we have to wait patiently to the bagholders, some times it is very frustrating but don't lose the hopes on SIA.
It is very sad that this coin is going down so much. I and many of my friends put in this coin a lot of money on level of 350 - 500 sat. Now we all doubt in any of good crypto projects. How it is possible that so active and good organised project is dumping price so much? Sorry, but it ruin my logic thinking about cryptocurrencies.

Do you know any reasons why SC price keep going down? Is it good for long-term investment? I like this project but about SC coin, I feel doubting about its future
There is really nothing to be worried about pal, this is normal and has happened a lot of times also to other crypto currencies out there, the price is just correcting itself because of the recent price rise. People who decided to buy SC may have seen enough profit so they sold, and other panicking people followed. So if you are looking into the long term investment, then be calm. The price should probably rise again sooner or later.

I think this is a good project with long term stability and in 2018 they have a new miner coming out that will mine up 150,000 SC a month so I can see things going up then.

The problem is there are just so many coins out there. When you're trading on the stock exchange there is a literal difference between penny stocks, and mainstream stocks. A little Ico looks no different than a big Ico in the cryptocurrency world. In the stock market you can pretty much tell the difference between Dave's Garage IPO and a couple of executives that just left Microsoft and decided to start a new company of Their Own.
The exchanges have all mixed together just want you to list, and rather than the company on her haven't come up with a couple hundred bucks to get listed in the exchanges as is true in the stock market. In the cryptocurrency world anybody that has a large number of certain coin can pay the exchange fee and have it listed on an exchange.

i think maybe it has pumped so much in the past half years, and there are so many new coin familiar with sc came out, like storj. ipfs, genaro and so on
