All, I have also been scammed by Hitbtc, I can't access my account due to a lost 2FA. Thy won't respond the tikcet, but I've sent them all the info.

Let's help bring the site down by filling a internet crime complaint with the FBI, link below.

Good afternoon! HitBTC team here. Let us handle this.
For anyone who had met any unpleasant experience on HitBTC: we hope that you would accept our deepest apologies and give us a chance to do whatever is possible to prove our honesty and solve the issue.

i have 6k usd at hitbtc
As usual log in to your account
my balance = 0
I try to communicate media hitbit media
Answer me with my money used for trading with FUN \ USDT
I do not even know what FUN is
With a duplicate purchase order, anyone recognizes it as a trick of hitbtc
My 2FA security account
I did not find the account infamous account

It looks like someone had obtained access to your account. He managed to steal your password and your authentication code - it could be done on phishing websites. These sites look exactly like the legitimate HitBTC website, you're asked to type your password there, and then your authentication code. And once you do, the attackers take advantage of that immediately.

But the hackers were not able to withdraw your funds, because you've protected them with 2FA as well. So they have done what they could: braggingly performed those FUN/USDT trades.

What can be done right now? Besides regular security measures, like changing your passwords on HitBTC and on your email account, it makes sense to provide our support team with the screenshots of your browser history at that time. Unfortunately, trades can not be reversed.

We totally understand how unexpected and devastating these events might be, and where do suspicions come from. We're here for you, and would be glad to assist you.

almost hitbtc is trying to convince the victim to give up denouncing fraud
I will not stop accusing the hitbtc until I get back my appropriated balance
I will denounce the FBI and all media channels.

As our support team reports, the issue is resolved and now you're able to log in. Don't forget to enable 2FA again! Trade happily. We hope you'd forgive us for the delay you have experienced.

So still absolutely no progression with trying to get your money back?

It seems celar enough to me that if the spreads are so damn high, why would anyone in their sane mind just eat the spread without actually wanting to accumulate any of this FUN coin? It's either a job from the inside or someone got access to your computer.

It's hard to prove either way, but i'm avoiding HitBTC.

And they advertise themselves as the perfect and best exchange on this planet.

Never trust these liars. I had my doubts on their ANN thread when people were complaining about suspicious transactions but they quickly tried to correct their almost tarnished reputation, probably to continue milking coins before the scam becomes full blown and exposed.

So now you have these FUNny transactions appearing on your account and you can't explain them. And then support staff pretends to have no idea how they happened or who made them. I suspect it's an insider incident and they just want to play the good-support-people-trying-to-help guys. It won't work. The damage is done and people should wake up and stop injecting coins in these mismanaged exchanges (these, yes, because that includes Yobit, Bittrex etc).

Hmm. I was thinking to deposit a some of money to Hitbtc because one of my tokens have been listed there so I want to sell it and do some trading. But upon reading countless stories of members here loosing a lot of money, I have now doubts to put my funds in there. Never seen any reply from them as well. Thanks for posting at least I wouldn't go to what you guys are going through right now. Will go and look for other reputable trading platform. Thank you for the heads-up.

HitBTC is a mess right now. Even if you have 2fa on it seems like that you are not protected.

If you really do have a clean computer then it's definitely HitBTC's ault and they should restore your balance bacuk to your account. It is only fair, as every single person has been having this issue and it's not just one occurence.

However, it'll be difficult to prove that you didn't execute these trades. All you can do really is to tell them that you'll start legal action if this isn't solved, and hope for the best.

Recently many users who had activated 2FA on hitbtc found their account balance as NIL due to some hack on the website. Some lost their balance due to not activating 2FA and they aren't even receiving access emails in time. See this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hitbtc-loss-of-money-scam-thieves-2194778

I'm not sure but hitbtc is responsible for this as 2FA guarantees protection for the account. There's no way the account can be hacked so easily. Which device did you use to access the account?

My account is always enabled 2FA
I always use antivirut AVG desktop support
I wonder how the account was easily infamously 2FA
hibtc makes it difficult to appropriately monetize the user.
The truth is still hidden as erikalui said some user also lost his funds for not activating 2FA and some like you lost even after 2FA enabled. Sending a support ticket will never help they rarely reply my issue wasn't like yours but wouod recommend you to do this it worked for me.
Create a support ticket and then message them on facebook with support ticket.

This isn't a problem from your side hitbtc was comprised it's better if current users change there pass and 2FA.
