No one is immune from scam. This market brings good money, so there are whole attack groups that organize global fraudulent schemes. If you are investing in a new project, be prepared for the fact that you can be left without your investment.

yes you are right op scammers can do other ways to be able to cheat and hack our wallet. Scammers always have a new way to break into our wallets. therefore we must always be careful in every transaction and we must also improve our security system. and scammers can also make a good project that seems like it will become a successful project. and that way they can attract investors. I think these scammers are the biggest problem we have to face when joining cryptocurrency.

All of the scammers now is evolving. They are not the typical scammers anymore where in keeps promising something bigger for you to believe them. They are also studying the humans body language and when they understand them already? They will attack and steal all the possible things that they can steal from you.

never anticipate that things should continue as before for long. Because this scammers are developing so they continue attempting new things . This still dosent mean you won't have the option to remember them. That continually bring a way that appears to be excessively simple and sidestep conventions. This is one approach to realize that it's them.

Scammers are literally smart people after all, they are so intelligent that they keep getting huge amount of money from their victims. If we want to avoid scammers then we should be smarter than they are, how are we going to be smart? It is simply by studying and by researching. We should seek for information in order to easily identify scammers and also the scam projects.
Knowing what you are doing around the field that you are investing your money is the very wise thing to do. Victims are being fooled without knowing the techniques that scammers are using. But if you will do your best anticipating and understanding all the protections that you'll need scammers will take a hard time to penetrate to you.

I don't know what else to belief in crypto space anymore, do you know that some projects that failed to reveal information about team are doing better than ones with real teams? It's not always about transparency like many says, the least project you don't have interest in might grow up more than the projects you trust
Successful projects on average have a large community because many hunters recognize them as quality projects, while projects that are unable to attract them are more likely to fail to reach investors. we have seen a lot during 2019. Scammers can be involved in the same two spaces. We need special indicators to see their work, good projects always move faster without having to write wise words too often to always wait.

hahah hilariously speaking.
I won't agree less with this. Scammers are clever but cunning and we will always watch out for them. I would never have believed that such a project as Spectrumnetwork could be fake. I placed all my hope on that freaking thing and it was shattered. Nevertheless, I learned my lesson so hard. Several other projects I have seen built real world use case product such as atomic wallet team (built a non-custodian wallet on atomicwallet.io), Aergo team, morpheuslabs and many of them.
Can't fall a victim again.
It is going to be very difficult to find a person that has invested in icos and that has not been scammed as well, this happened to me too, I invested in a project that had seemingly all the right things and I thought we were going to see a project that will change the world of cryptocurrencies.

And as you may guess that did not happen and I lost a significant amount of my money and this was very discouraging since I did my due diligence and everything seemed to be fine and I discovered I had being deceived by a bunch of smart scammers.

Scammers are often very clever, yeah, that's true. To trick cryptocurrencies in particular, it is very smart to have expertise and thorough understanding. For fraudulent money, 2019 will be disciplined. The biggest scam ever reported is the Plus Token, certainly anyone who cares will know about the famous incident. On this smartphone, the e-wallet project is said to be a multi-level pyramid variant. They had immediately raised $2.9 billion from investors before the Plus Token heads suddenly disappeared in early July.

They're smarter than many investors, of course. They always come up with different styles of tricking investors into investing in their project called ponzi scheme, but thorough research into the project will reveal their hidden agendas that can be avoided. We can motivate ourselves to be smarter than them, but greed is going to be a big problem for investors.
Yes we will have to keep out eyes open while choosing project to invest as mostly are scamming because scammers know that some people are fool enough to trust blindly. So better avoid being fool to invest with scamming projects just make research on Google and YouTube about real projects then invest and start investing with small amount.

Scammers will always be in crypto space, now if you promote 10 projects in a year just expect only two to be real or successful among them all because even if they are far from scam they can still fail too

To be honest, not a single cryptocurrency project can be called 100% genuine. There are many projects which looked great on the ICO stage, but there are no news about them today as their Social Media channels are dead.
It caused by they must make sure they will be looked great to make investors wanna investing their money on that shitty ico. this is just an old trick that already used by scammers these days,
But we can learn from this to avoid the scammers and that's easy.

Yeah, that right, scammers stay very smart, but default investors not idiots too

We saw how these "non-idiots" were bred in 2017-2018. Not every investor knows in advance what will happen to cryptocurrency, especially since we are all pioneers in this topic. Many on the wave of hype have fled to invest.

This is so true, scammers are more clever than we can imagine, they keep coming up with new strategies. Some will even attend blockchain/crypto conferences, distribute tokens after token sale and then list on a fair exchange to dump the remaining bulk of the tokens. Sometimes we wonder why buy orders get cleared after listing, some people will blame it on airdrop/Bounty hunters etc while most times the team dumps massively.

If team members are just in for money and do not have any plans to fulfill product development, then obviously they are scammers, don't get it twisted. Let's not be deceived by what we see on roadmap or hype around any project.

When a team don't launch a project or had launched the project yet didn't continue to develop after being prompt by the users that its project has bugs on it means they are simply becoming a scam as well. A number of projects are doing this so far and the problem is that they just aren't passionate of what they are doing.

Scammers are not smart but ignorant I don't see people who try to steal from people as being smart. When someone have to sit and think of stealing is not a smart move.

The problem is not the skill of the scammers and their alleged ability to reinvent themselves and find new ways of defrauding people.
The real problem is the incredible stupidity of those who let themselves be cheated and believe in the most absurd promises.

Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots

People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?

Of course, scammers have become more intelligent and can promise and do everything in order not to differ from others and even seem better than others. However, all this will not help them avoid sooner or later exposure. Moreover, if they are 100% scammers, then they will definitely be punctured somewhere and the community will quickly bring them to clean water. Of course there is no guarantee that we will be able to identify fraudsters 100%, but this once again confirms that investing in cryptocurrencies is more risky than investing in other industries.
In the beginning, it is really hard to figure out scamming projects but with the passage of time, they do come to surface when people are heavily scammed by them. We shall keep in mind that the reason why we simply cannot differentiate them from legit projects is that they copy legit ones in a way that both give investors free coins in the beginning, giving little profits as well and so on.

The problem is the scammers are smart because there are too many lazy people who come online to get rich quick. I see so many people getting scammed on Telegram because they never follow the instructions given by projects who say many times ADMINS do not pm members, they need to contact official support of the project. Yet still because people are impatient and like spoiled children, they want an issue sorted right away then they get hacked or scammed by fake Admins who are really scammers and hackers. I think most of the people involved in the cryptocurrency arena should not be involved at all as they cannot take failure, losses or any bad thing happen or they cannot take responsibility for their actions. People have to educate themselves so they get scammed or hacked less.
