this is what will come to the attention of the government. does it need legal regulation or not for crypto. the concept of crypto decentralization which should be a breakthrough for future financial transactions. now it has been used by scammers. besides that most of the crypto users today are beginners who lack learning about crypto.

I still can't understand what the fate of altcoins will be in coming years, scammers keep ruining everything and i doubt if regulation will make a difference or even worsen the problem because i research on the biggest crypto scam project which was bitconnect and they said FBI are on the case but till today nothing.

In the crypto world that is anonymous or not, scam acts often occur. The trigger is that they can have a lot of money easily. Create a new project, open ICO or IEO then spread the news to the forum. One thing that is certain is that a scammer will always be around as long as the crypto world is on. Either a scam project, or an individual scammer, or a runaway developer. To be sure, multiply your knowledge and expand research before plunging.

Let's face the truth.. There are scammers in every industry in the world. Take for example the car industry, forex, stocks, you name it. People will find ways to make money in ilegitimate ways until the end of the world. That's how some people are wired, they want to make it the easy way, but if you look closely, stealing is not the easy way because you will live a miserable life.

I wouldn't say that scammers are the biggest problem in crypto, but we should take the necessary measures to point them out and especially make informative campaigns for beginners on how to stay away from potential con artists.

Scammers are not only in the crypto environment. But they are always there wherever you are. Therefore, you must always be ready and alert to acts of fraud that might occur to yourself. Before thinking of a larger scale, you better prepare yourself to face it. If individually we are ready and can plan something to deal with it, then we do not need to worry anymore with the impact caused. Every day everyone is also growing and not always easily caught up in their game.

That is the problem with having no regulations. Since, cryptocurrencies are largely decentralized and there is no central authority. You're your own bank and responsible for the safety of your own funds, the problem of scams and hacks have become a big problem. If you are trusting a third party, be it exchange, wallets or anything, you should understand the risk associated with it. Exchnages can definitely work on eliminating such hacks and scams. But the interesting thing is that the exchanges themselves are involved in manipulation. So, at the end, yes crypto is a highly manipulated space. Thus, our safety lies in our own hands.

investors are decreasing, scammers are increasing. Many new investors who jump into the world of crypto are trapped in the dirty game of scammers who then make crypto known as a scammer's lair. Investors must be smarter than scammers so they don't get caught up, have to be more updated and stay alert. report and spread on forums and other media if you know a scammer so that other people don't get caught in the same dirty game.

Scammers will never disappear and that's a big problem also in the real world scamer is always there, especially in the cryptocurrency world, and indeed scamer is looking for a loophole to steal money from investors in the digital world that is easily hacked so we must be careful.

I also do not imagine Binance is a big exchange but scamer is also the most widely seen from the order of the article. what is the solution from CZ about this.
It make sense to say scammers will never disappear from crypto world but at least there will be limits, if crypto scammers are getting nailed starting from now there will be fear in this crypto space and once there is fear scammers won't be bold to use their real identity and people won't have to invest in projects with anonymous teams

Education? really? it means you must be a well educated someone, so tell me since you entered crypto world haven't you get scammed just once? its impossible friend, education and getting scammed is not same thing, no matter how educated you are it doesn't safe you from scammers

Did I say about well-educated above? knowing about the object they are engaging with can be considered as education.
How it is not going to save you from the scammers if you know what you are dealing with? let's talk about the giveaway on Twitter as an example,
the scammer created a bot impersonating a well-known crypto influencer and asking you to give some money to them to participate in the giveaway. If you do not know what you are dealing with, you will get scammed by them. But because you know, you avoid it and save yourself from the scam.

then do you think education is unimportant in this problem? do you even understand what I am talking about?

Personally I think the main problem here is not only about scammers but education is one of the major role that caused cryptocurrency to be tainted and connected as a fraud. Many people do not do something called research before doing something, the majority of people who got scammed did not do proper research about what they were engaging for and in result leading them to get scammed by the scammers.

just if all of us have just a little bit of knowledge about cryptocurrency and have good control over our emotions, this scammer will not damage cryptocurrency this severely.

I agree to it partially. Most of the people who have been scammed would have at least made 1 mistake due to which the scammer was successful in scamming the victim.
It's obvious that we have to be careful and research on everything before we pay anybody.
Yes the education plays an important role but I have also seen many educated people making mistakes due to which they lose their money.
So we have to be right on our side before we complaint about others.

I completely agree. With the advent of cryptocurrencies, there are a lot of scammers and thiefs in this area. This is primarily due to the fact that they are confident in their impunity. And it is not known when government agencies will begin to prosecute such people and whether this is possible, because cryptocurrencies are anonymous.

Some of these scammers can really spoof some emails or make a response like they knew what they are doing. They could be the ones pretending to be admins in the telegram channel of some developer's team, an unsuspecting user could fall into their trap and will send money to them and then binance still will be to blame. Binance can report the linkedin pages to the linkedin itself so they can check the impostors pages to take down.

IMO the number of scammers decreased a bit since there are no more numerous ICO's. I remember a lot of ICO projects were initially scams.
But since the crypto is still developing scammers have all the possibilities to scam people who are new to crypto space.
The methods are almost the same - phishing, deceiving etc but the amount of fake ICO's decreased since ICO's are in trouble.
Everyone in crypto space was scammed at least once IMHO.

as long as there is money included, there will always be a scammer. They always targeted those people who gives low priority of security from their cryptocurrency and also where there is investor involve, and in crypto all investment can be done.
