Scammers are those who usually make use of ways to get money easier by cheating. They are those who do not exert efforts to make themselves clean money. Scammers are really the biggest crypto problem because many are being fooled and xheated. Also, fellow members are being misguided by the wrong information that scammers produce.
Scammer are always the problem, but in everything there is something of bad! Last week I was contacted by telegram by several scammers that proposed to me fantastic gains or play in some tarot gambling sites. Pay attention to this kind of proposals and remember noone will contact you in private message for propose to you to became rich!
Scammers are the bad side of this world, and cause of that people don't rely on each other. I'm sad about your bad experience, but l prefer to stay with several telegram groups. That is why l think most of them are scammed and their goal is just to fall people into their fraud. We must be careful about that. We should stay away from them as we can, their goals are not to be rich you, on the contrary they want to steal your money. Newbies must be more careful, that is why lack of experiences they can fall into scams so easily. 
I know that regulations can't fix crypto scam issue but there should be some better platform that can take things very serious with new projects, imagine someone that's very capable like binance CZ who would go to any lent to avoid allowing any scam projects on his exchange
You can try to imagine is this possible for a platform to create a regulation that can be implemented into the various platforms?. In this case, the self-regulation that created by any platform is much better to be implemented to prevent the scammer these days.

They existed before crypto-currencies and they will probably
exist as long as world lasts. They are simply people who learned to live that life, to not work and be honest, to earn money

Honestly, scammers are very big challenge that the crypto space is facing. They are on increase on a daily basis; bounty campaigns, airdrops, trading and lots more. So hard to trust anyone in the space now, which is not suppose to be. I don't think this can be eradicated, we just have to be more careful and lessen our greed as much as possible. If scammers are getting reduced customers, I think their activities will subside.

You guys are acting like people now use only bitcoin or other crypto currencies to scam others. If someone is this stupid for falling for scams like money multiplier, then they deserve to get scammed.
The problem starts with ICO scam projects, I doubt if we are ever going to see huge investors like we did in 2017 without regulations, people need something to hold on to now before investing in crypto, they need something to blame.
We will see that happen for the second time and that needs more time to make everything is safe. There was also a bunch of scammers in our life too. Life is about how smart you are to avoid the scammers. Everyone needs more knowledge and when they are very smart to avoid the scammer and the projects created by scammer will be dead too.

Unfortunately, that is one of the major setbacks in this industry and this has dragged the name of the crypto industry in mud regardless of all the good worldwide use cases that are being developed across the globe. I am hoping that once mass adoption kicks in this perception about the crypto industry will be eradicated with time.

Unfortunately this is the problem the crypto community is facing, there are many scammers in crypto to point that any little mistake can cost you a lot if care is taken, they are ruining the image and trust of crypto, people are now scared to take part because of either past experience or something they read from the internet, there are all sort of scams now, people have to be extremely cautious about participating in anything relating to crypto.
It's not all IEOs can be trusted by anyone. The fact that only IEOs that came from trusted platform that can be trusted by us. We are all ignoring IEOs that has come from the crap exchange site especially when it will be launching its IEO on p2p or latoken.
It will actually become a scam token.
there are many IEOs on the new exchange and even one with a bad reputation. when there are projects like that then we don't need to believe they will succeed. the team might be able to claim sales success. but the reality on the market will prove that they will soon run off investors' money. It will actually become a scam token.
Its not the scammers but its the problem of the market and lack of investors that are doing investments, and of the reasons why is the projects that operating now is not good and an bring profits so this is the reasons i think.
You said the problem is the market and lack of investors, what ruined all that? Isn't it the scammers? Remember how great crypto space was in 2017 with ICO projects? The reason why crypto is like this today is because of scammers, many investors lots of money to scam projects and they quit, though not all of them but many did Indeed, scammers do tremendous damage to cryptocurrency. Starting from the theft of bitcoins from exchanges, ending with the creation of fake ICO projects. I myself got into such projects. Since then, I participate only in IEO projects.
