I think Binance conveys a real amount, meaning what happens to their exchanges, which is in the name of their company, and or that releases a project using their name. Because scammers are very varied. If we compare it with what happens to crypto users who aren't published, I think it's much bigger than what Binance said.

Usually the fall victim of these scammers are new to crypto world and believing the hearsay that its profitable to invest in crypto.

That is right what you said, people join here for earning quick money, they think that everything is so easy as they expected. But as you above mentioned many have lost everything here, l think it happens cause of lack of knowledge. Experience is more important than money in crypto space. Lack of knowledge can be the reason of losing money. We must take attention to knowledge and try learning something from other experiences.

The issue of Scammers in the cryptocurrency space is rather unfortunate. We cannot effectively pinpoint the menace which scammers have caused to the cryptocurrency industry. There's no doubt that scammers are in other financial industries, but it feels like cryptocurrency has the most terrible of them all. If we loook upon the history of cryptocurrency, the main opponent of its success is the scammers. There are many bounties running that are zero value. Many of them begins to attract the investors of fake listing, large bonuses and MVP but afterwards, it falls to a ponzi scheme.

In addition to that, Hackers are also the problem of cryptocurrency. Look what happened to the popular exchanges such mt. gox, etherdelta, and even cryptopia/binance did not escape to the hackers. That is why they should be eliminated but removing them seems to be impossible. It is just like separating sands from sugar.

Yeah, it is massive problem that is also seen as a hurdle to crypto mass adoption. It is seen that if a project is successful people create fake names and even social media pages in that project name and victimize innocent people who get there by mistake and ask for resolution of their problem they either lose their wallet data or scammers convince them to send them some coins for the solution to theor problem, there should be some system to stop and report these fakers instantly.
