Hi

Yes, anonymixer.org is a scam. That's why the site is (already) listed on the original post. The typical scam copies the design of a legit tumbler and buys a domain name similar.

For reference, the real website is Anonymixer.com and not .org, .net, .info, or any other.
Onion and Clearnet URLs @ https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.55026203

I will probably add another mixer to the list bitmixer.cash seems down

Thanks, I'm going to add them to the list.

This is a fraud? This site is not on your list, so I thought it was a franchise.
Scammers are getting really creative, new modified logo and they are using Huawei clouds so they are probably located in Hong Kong, China.
There was one mixer with same name in past with domain bimixer.io, but it was closed down few years ago.
This bitmixer service was once available in Bitcointalk forum but it shut down in 2017:

Usually, scammers change the TLD, or just a letter in the name to confuse people. Here he tries a different method. This one litterally used the .onion adress of ChipMixer and bought the .online domain name for the clearnet. Of course, copying the design as they usualy do.

Code:
https://chipmixorflykuxu56uxy7gf5o6ggig7xru7dnihc4fm4cxqsc63e6id.online/

correct URL http:// chipmixorflykuxu56uxy7gf5o6ggig7xru7dnihc4fm4cxqsc63e6id.onion/

The person behind the website also owns chipmixer.cx and has also a blog in which he promotes other scams (that he surely runs too)
He apparently likes the signature design used for the campaign running here since he uses it for an ads banner on this blog mixersbitcoin.com
The scam URL in the banner has been changed not so long ago. Doesn't matter it's still a phishing URL

It has been added. Thanks.

What's happening

Mixsafer.com decided to stop the service and close its doors. (3 hours ago)

One hour later, they add that someone else has restored the domain and has control of the website to scam people.
The whois details haven't changed since  2021-10-15. Either the person has access to Mixersafer's account on Namecheap or something else, but if that's not, then Mixsafer could easily shut down the website by pointing the domain to another IP server.

The person above didn't receive his/her mix before this announcement. So, it could also be a lie from Mixsafer. A sure thing, Mixsafer.com is now a scam to avoid.

A few days ago i tried mixsafer.com and bitcoins never arrived. Is another SCAM, they dont answer the emails, they only say in the forum that it works but it is not true. Let no one else lose their bitcoins on these sites. In this forum it is in the list of those that do work, but in the Internet scam lists, all users say that it is a Scam.

I start to think Blender.io closed its service.

It's now several days (too many) the website is down (with .io & .to), as well as their other product at BlenderWallet.io, whatever if it's on the clearnet or dark web, all links are dead.

- Here they announced a maintenance
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.59765651

- Here we can see it was down somedays ago
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.59953403

- Here we can see the wallet's website was down some days ago https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.59838885

- Last active on April 05 (i know it doesn't mean a lot but added to other points...)

- No post to announce another maintenance, as he did previously. (i know it doesn't mean a lot but added to other points...)

I'm a bit surprised but it doesn't sound good.

If I can help I'm happy, in the same way, I'm happy to receive help when I need it. Sharing is the power of the www.

Your suggestion: create a site with a database.

A database, or a blog, is the same problem. Websites should not be trusted!
Just look at all the blogs on the web that promote scams. I can't even remember the last time I visited a site that didn't have a phishing URL.
Another example I could give: someone suggested to me the URL of a mixer, saying it was posted on dark.fail (a known website), I replied I don't trust websites. A few days later, it appears the website was hacked, and the URL was wrong.
I could make a website as you suggest and insert scam mixers and label them as a "legit website"

Community discussions are not 100% bulletproof but a lot much more reliable because there will always be someone to comment and/or give their opinion, share their experience

Yes, I put a disclaimer on the topic you are talking about but it is not enough as we know. Just look at the number of people who get ripped off on a daily basis. The more information there is on the web the better.
I have a different opinion on that, I don't think it's someone's duty to constantly take care of inattentive people but if you wish so, then you are welcome.

I think the smartest deal here would be to create a website that will verify bitcoin mixer URLs via 3 ways:
1. chipmixer.com - Legit website
2. chipmixers.com - Scam website
3. chipmixdsl.com - Not in our database, do your own research

Hope you've got the point.

@Synchronice

Hello,

As explained, I thought it would be good to make a dedicated topic to separate scams from legitimate ones. Also as I said in the first post, this topic was getting too big for me (I don't have good eyes) and negatively impacts the SEPRs. There is also another reason but too long to explain (I avoid scammers targetting something)

Yes, I put a disclaimer on the topic you are talking about but it is not enough as we know. Just look at the number of people who get ripped off on a daily basis. The more information there is on the web the better.

If I can't find your domains easily, google can't too, so no potential victims for you on both ways.
By the way, it depends on what definition we give to "easily" but I can find new scams quite "easily", it's all about extracting data or spy on scammers. Added to other users who participate to make both lists. There are also scammers sending PMs about scams created by "their enemies"  Cheesy but that's another story

@cappola

Thank you =)

I think, this thread is enough in any way: 2022 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites
Plus, you have a good disclaimer:
Quote
Although the list is updated as frequently as possible, (as soon as a change is needed), it's important for people to do their own research to make up their own opinion. Follow the announcement topics (links are posted when there is one), see what's going on, check the recent feedbacks from others, etc...

There are a few legit bitcoin mixer websites, really a few that you can count on your fingers, why bother and create a list of scam bitcoin mixers when their number can be virtually infinite.

I can register hundreds of domains that will be similar to the known mixers or use the combination of key words and create new ones that may look professional, you can't catch these domains easily, even these new domains can't reach you always. It looks like you pound the water in the mortar.
