Getting the children prepared on how to learn the basics of Bitcoin at the early stage of their lives is very fantastic. By the time they grow a bit older, they will be able to learn how to control and invest in their future.

Parents should be mindful of when they introduce their children to bitcoin so as not to disrupt their learning focus. Anything that involves making money as investment should be restricted from children. Let children concentrate on their studies and when they get into high school of learning they can begin to learn trading and how to invest their cryptocurrency.
Well, there is an appropriate time and age when to introduce Bitcoin to our children as its technicality is really hard for them to understand and grasp the information for their young minds. In fact, even us who are old enough can barely understand easily how much more with their ages. That I think this is suitable in High School ( at least) as we know that they are old enough to take responsibility and probably this creates interest to them as they will start to make their own.

Cryptocurrency is the future.

Those of us here know and understand that but can we also say that for those who are not in this forum? The answer will be divided between yes and no, for sure.

Slowly more business were converting the cash reserve into bitcoin fearing inflation. We don't know what will be the future of cryptocurrencies, but as things are completely connected to technology learning it will surely be helpful in some means. There were more schools and universities that have begun to accept cryptocurrency payment, whereas very few have started to provide knowledge about cryptocurrencies.

As mentioned by the OP, Slovakia is a small country. Anything associated with technology isn't an easy thing to adopt, being a small country with limited population providing education on cryptocurrency is a possible one compared to a highly populated country doing the same.

it seems their teachers already have basic knowledge of Bitcoin, their education is 5x faster than education in most other countries.  children are the future of a country, if they are taught about Bitcoin since childhood then when they grow up they already have knowledge about Bitcoin.  big hope that the schools in my country follow the teachings of Slovakia.
The coming generation is already advanced from us and knows way too much about technology but all of them are not tech geek so explaining them what bitcoin actually is through story mode is really appreciable even if they have done it for some vocational courses not a regular subject to be taught in the school. The kids have sharp mind and more ability to learn so if they know about btc at that age they can explore more about it.

The main thing is the next Governments can't fool them and if they take advantage of it as investment opportunity and payment processor then inflation won't affect them more so it's better future for them and school around the globe must promote this as much they can.

Implementing Crypto or bitcoin education in schools in my opinion is very important.
Without knowing about something we are about to do, abuse is unavoidable, especially the basics of bitcoin and its use and how to use it properly and correctly so that when they are ready at the right time, they can do it well.
that's why so many people lose money in crypto because they don't have enough knowledge, and but when have proper crypto or bitcoin education, they will excel easily and make good profit.

This is a good investment for Slovakia, which should give them the basic and fundamental information to use cryptocurrencies in the future, which is also not only a benefit to them but the entire crypto ecosystem. Kudos to Slovakia for taking this bold step!

learning to invest early is good, knowing the basics about bitcoin is also good, but if elementary school children have invested in bitcoin it is really amazing, as technology develops children are required to be more advanced in thinking, not when , I was in elementary school

I think this idea. Kids should be learning about new technologies and their implementations as early as possible, in a language and manner that is appropriate for them, so they can make informed decisions about said technologies once they grow a little and their finances depend on them.

I was a supporter of this theory 3 years ago (more or less) and I have also dedicated a topic on the subject. Here the introductory post

...
I think that Governments of developed Nations MUST add a blockchain course to the basic education of any Citizen... starting from elementary schools, and why not, with some basics concept also in nursery.

A young brain in it's primordial state is the base for any further development. Plus everyone should have this education, like an essential human right.

Well, I am really happy to see a Nation that has taken this argument seriously, and I am sure it will be the first of a long series, just matter of time.
Another step toward adoption.
We all are aware about the fact that rome was built not built in a single day and good thing takes time to happen and same is happening with bitcoin as slowly people are realising it's importance and gradually adopting it to safeguard their future. So little step towards btc adoption is best for all.

This school has initiated small step by making them practice and understand the basics of digital and decentralised money which will help them in further life at an early age. Some say it is some sort of burden to them but if you see this book is not at all full fledged technical aspects but story based decentralisation mode of payment which is best for them and maybe revolutionary step.Schools are busy teaching children useless courses to bundle them up in store rooms with assignment but best is to give them knowledge about things which will help them in real life.

As far as I know, the Slovakia government is very crypto-friendly, and they do not have any strict rules regarding sports betting. Casinos that conduct gambling through fixed odds are entirely legal in Slovakia.

Learning about Bitcoin at the school level is very important, students should learn about Bitcoin from the basics, you know blockchain related studies have a lot of knowledge, If children get a basic idea about these technologies from an early age, they will be interested in learning about blockchain in the future and will be able to play an important role in their economy & society.

I think this is a good thing to introduce the basics of Bitcoin to school students even some of them can mine at an early age. There is nothing wrong with this, this can actually be knowledge for them, especially with this Bitcoin, students can get extra pocket money and will lighten the burden on parents. Besides that, it is possible that some of these students actually have talent for things related to investment so that when faced with crypto they can indirectly develop their talents.

Bitcoin is really need to educate it to our children, by telling them how it works and where is used, as a digital asset no one can touch cryptocurrency on his physical hand, but have the feeling of the quantity value you have. Secondly we are era of technology and is a good one to buy some fraction of bitcoin to our children as long term investment that can be hand over to them in next 10 years and above for high amount amount of investment.
Well educating them is very important and also must aware on possible negative consequences.
However --I can really say it is definitely amazing, letting the children learn and have knowledge about bitcoin at a young age is a smart way to introduce bitcoin in their life. Nowadays, a lot of false accusations about bitcoin really exist and I don't think it is unnecessary to explain it to the young generation because these negative feedbacks may possibly occupy their minds, and at least introducing bitcoin to them may clear some things. Also, learning through that books may help them understand the world of bitcoin and they can use it better in the future.

I see this as a revolutionary breakthrough, a good introduction method must be done from an early age so that it will be embedded easily in his mind, and as long as what is learned is only the basics and does not require students to use it, I think it's good.
For sure this is best usecase of practical studies to children at young age and not exploring it in detail.I have also known this book from a long time and it only shows some stories about bitcoin payments and you see learning from stories won't burden them at all meanwhile they will learn lot of things from it.

The children have more learning ability and it should be promoted among them which is the best example this school has presented so it's appreciated move on their part.Want to see more schools adopting it.

It’s good to know that. Cryptocurrencies are the future and students getting to know them from their learning stage would be a plus for them. Their basics would already be strong and they won’t have to go back to learning when they are planning to do something.

It is well intentioned that school children learn the basics of bitcoin in slovakia this will allow them to learn about bitcoin from an early age which will help them to have a bright future. They do not have to learn anything new later from the beginning bitcoin will be able to invest and make money through various activities they will get rid of all the bad situations of corona virus very easily. The world will improve a lot and governments of all countries will support bitcoin.

Most of us here are aware about the term Bitcoin but how many have told their children about the same?
Not yet right now,my baby boy is still 2YO  Cheesy Cheesy
But yes, I have also tried to tell about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my other family who is still 15YO and I see her interest in the crypto industry much. He is trying to deposit around 50$ and make trading, but she is a short-term investing, not daily trading. What happens here is explaining to them about the basic at least, not the complicated one. After she is really interested and ready, she really wants to try trading and has made some profits, even small ones. The basic thing that is also very important is that she knows the risks and is ready for the risks. And, she uses her free money.

But in the educational system in my country, I have never heard about the new curriculum that involves cryptocurrency or makes this is a subject of material. It's too complicated in this country to include crypto in education because there are still many pros and cons.

Cryptocurrency is the future.
It is not only the future, the past and the present have been already with cryptocurrency. But, there will be much more development and also adoption of the crypto industry and blockchain in the future. Preparing children from earlier may be good enough, but it should also fit each step of the age in order not to force them.

This is a welcome development for the government of Slovakia to put up bitcoin learning into their junior school curriculum. How I wish other countries will adopt this kind of idea
