Yes i also seen this status in Twitter published by @BitcoinMagazine Tweet link https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1465063022112747534?t=A2OO3lf1qGV0itt8bns_gQ&s=19  and also published by some Blog posting. It's really surprising that Bitcoin is being taught in schools in any one country.  Where as Bitcoin is still illegal in some countries.

Their government is preparing their young generation with new things that can help them un future and thats a good gesture to them which other country could follow since if there citizens  have enough knowledge about bitcoin for sure they know at early stage those pros and cons about it and also they possibly get an opportunity to gain money which can help them to enhance theit lives.

I am amazed by the government officials in Slovakia, it is not an easy decision to allow the curriculum about Bitcoin to be introduced to young people

when many governments in other parts of the country are struggling hard to ban Bitcoin, slovakia emerged with a different mindset, they did not feel Bitcoin was a threat, on the contrary they incorporated Bitcoin into the learning curriculum there

the country that prohibits Bitcoin like China must be furious with beautiful news like this LOL

You know, this is what a next generation looks like @OP. You know, inspire of what you hear around you, its always best you create an awareness and let the people grow to choose. Either its something they would love to develop more on or just let to slide away.

Cryptocurrency is no new news in our world and that school in Slovakia has taken an extraordinary step in bringing this to these kids. Of course, the term might be familiar but a lot of persons don't really know and building a basic knowledge of it for young kids,,, that's just super. Who knows, perhaps the next mile stone in blockcahin technology might arise from these ones.

It's good to know that children are now being exposed to things like these in school. Back then, schools were merely a place to study different subjects such as english, science, and math that could be helpful in the future for their chosen degree. But right now, it's great to be aware that children are learning various things such as bitcoin in school which they could utilize to their own advantage when they get older. At least, at a very young age, they would be introduced to the idea that there's more to life than the usual things taught and learned at school. I love that Slovakia is open-minded and is concerned with the hope of their future to do well in life and to be able to manage their finances well with the help of cryptocurrency. Because after all, time is changing and advancing into something new and modern, therefore, knowing the basics and fundamentals of a thing is of importance.

I think that states that have already understood or are beginning to understand the inevitability of the interaction of a huge mass of people with cryptocurrency in the future are already beginning to prepare their youth for new skills and theoretical knowledge about this area. The potential that lies in the world of cryptocurrencies is still greatly underestimated - and those peoples and governments that will be able to integrate their national economies organically before others will inevitably have competitive advantages. This technological and intellectual gap between such countries, who accepted and mastered or, on the contrary, refused, will grow!

I have also done same down here, I'm African, I have advocated about bitcoin to my school, street's, neighbors and friends.
What interest me the most, is my head of department loving how we are gon use bitcoin books, crypto currencies article's to make more awareness about the library.
Informing the public about Bitcoin books and relating them about the library, this helps inculcate the habit of reading in them.

How i Wish that this will be also In our country , being a third world country it seems that we are far from being like Slovakia to bring this learning in basic bitcoin inside schools.
and i support the movement of this country in favor of crypto because they seems to understand the future and the advantage of this for the whole country.
I do not have any idea whether the government of Slovakia has decided to include learning the basics of bitcoin in their curriculum. In that case, there is no point in protesting. Otherwise, the government should possess restrictions on that. Student life is for gathering education, making a career, and fun. Trading and earning should not be their goal as minors.

Protesting in what sense? opposition is always there but surely in long run they will partake in this movement.

My personal opinion is that it is unnecessary to expose children to such information, because it is simply too early for them to be burdened with it. It is quite one thing to read a book, and quite another to understand what it is all about - and it is even worse if the person who needs to clarify these things is not an expert at it. I don't know how the book is conceived and how the teachers are trained, but from the fact that someone lives in ignorance, the worse thing can only be that they learned something completely wrong. Now every schoolchild or student can use https://gradesfixer.com/citation/apa/ to study well and do their homework perfectly. Properly using the APA citation generator and guide with the rules, you can be a good student even if the subject doesn't interest you much.

Children should first be taught online literacy, and how to recognize scam, and only then introduce them to Bitcoin - otherwise there will be a lot of sad stories on the Internet, maybe even some on this forum in the future.
Indeed, I do not consider it important to teach children this at this age. Lessons in financial literacy or sexual development will be much more useful for them.

In my opinion, I think it's a nice one to introduce Bitcoin into schools atleast it'll give room to a clearer future in their finances especially in countries where getting a job is a hard task.
But I'll suggest that the just learn the basics and leave the practical aspects until a certain stage when it's sure that the can meddle with both trading and their studies.

It's a great development but cannot be adopted in countries that are yet to embrace Bitcoin.

That's cool, I'm also wondering if my country will create a curriculum for elementary school students to learn Bitcoin early on.

Currently the government in my country, especially education officials, as far as I know he is an intellectual who is familiar with the internet world, such as: Blockchain, crypto etc., so far the government has implemented online learning through an online 'teacher room', there are various methods that can be discussed and learned by students in the teacher's room, but if they want to apply one more thing which is about the Bitcoin Book, this seems very fun, I like to see positive things being done by Slovakia on Bitcoin to introduce students.

Great job to the one who created this book as well as to the ones who made it possible for this book to be admitted to schools. I haven't really taken a look at what's inside but it appears to me specifically tailored fit for young children. It appears colorful and attractive to a young kid.

How I wish my country's school would also start educating young brains about the rise of the good money. My country's educational system is archaic and is killing children's curiosity and innovation more than stoking their fire.
Not only your country but most of the Schools around the globe are pushing more pressure on other area of interest and completely putting the pressure on children's for the same killing their co-circular activities skills. They need to introduce some valuable courses that could help them in real life rather than focusing on same traditional subjects being taught form ages.I am not saying it's wrong but giving them knowledge about bitcoin is fantastic and this book is about just fundamentals and that's all way more simple than what they are telling at schools with those heavy set of books.

See i don't know whether they have done it to publicly show and were not actually teaching it but still they have given pretty much attention to the subject that Bitcoin is not a bad thing as many governments have illustrated it and making small kids familiar with it is going to improve their future if they know about true monetary aspect of life.Even if we say it was advertising stunt there is benefit association with it as more and more people come to know about these books which people could buy from Amazon for their kids and btc will be in demand again.

For those who ask whether government know about the same or not i would say that Slovakia government has not recognized it as legal and have no regulations but still you can trade with your own consent and risk like in some countries and doing the same is not an offence.

well, they are taught about the digital financial development system in their schools, that is something that we rarely encounter in schools today. however, it seems that children do need to learn this technology so that they can try to develop their minds before actually getting into the crypto world. actually, it would be great if they learn about blockchain, because it is the heart of the crypto world, however, it seems too heavy for the kids considering I don't really understand it myself LOL.
however, this is a very good development.

it's pretty cool, not many schools implement it and I think it's a great way to introduce bitcoin to kids. I also hope that here the children can learn it well in the hope that in the future they can use bitcoin. Bitcoin can be owned by anyone as long as they can manage it well. especially for the younger generation whose minds can be more open and intelligent. we know that the development of bitcoin is also getting better so as much as possible we prepare ourselves so that we can use bitcoin in the future well.
It was slowly taught in school and soon it become a part of the curriculum globally. Many got the interest in Bitcoin now because it was been told as a money generator. I'm not seeing this bad but they should never just think about earning a profit alone, they also have to know the risk about this. The more it feeds on the school and gives awareness to the community, the faster it brings the adoption process and this will also encourage oldies to learn about Bitcoin, about cryptocurrencies.

Indeed, the introduction of Bitcoin from an early age is very important, so I agree that in schools it is better to start being taught about Bitcoin.
So more and more people will benefit from Bitcoin, because for now the majority of the world's population still doesn't understand Bitcoin.
Even some people who are starting to join the crypto world, are still getting the wrong information, many people still think Bitcoin can provide
instant profit. That's why Bitcoin should be one of the curriculum in schools, so that young people can know everything about Bitcoin. So they not
only understand how to profit from Bitcoin, but they also know the risks of using Bitcoin. I believe that if young people are taught Bitcoin lessons
in school, the adoption process should accelerate in the future.

In my opinion, it is actually a good step at least to introduce about Bitcoin. And for those who think that it is too difficult for children, don't worry. I am sure that the writer and also the publisher of the books have concerned about how to package and introduce about Bitcoin in very easy ways and also explanations. Moreover that is a book for children They also pack the book nicely with some pictures.
of course, it will be understood by children more easily.
Even though it sounded technical and techier for the kids, for these young minds but it was going to believe that there is a way to make it simple and understandable. And besides, these new generations are already familiar with the computer which is easy for them to adjust and adapt to whatever it is if needed. But I think, what it teaches in school is only a picture of what we were able to get from crypto, the possible benefits, and what will be the impact on the community.
Curriculum wont really be focusing that much on technicals and of course they would really focus on with the basics on where those kids or students would able to understand it out directly. Its not really needed for them to know but only those key words and basic functionalities which is always been a good
news if we do see something like this on which they do apply it and adoption would even more on bigger scare since awareness
would be more.than it was before.
