I know that a lot of merchants and stores want to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. But what holds them back is the vague legal status of Bitcoin and the tax complexities which can arise from converting BTC to fiat.
Yeah, until now, the legal issue of bitcoin has not been clearly defined, the governments of the countries still do not have a unified opinion, some countries want to accept, some countries want to ban, even destroy bitcoin when they feel bitcoin will affect the economy. So this news is probably a revolution for the use of bitcoin in life when schools see the benefits that bitcoin brings, however I think things will not be nice, they know the benefits of bitcoin, others also know, shops or schools accept tuition fees with bitcoin, it would not make sense when other people would not use bitcoin for that

This is a great idea, i think the educational sector should try and integrate blochchain technology to enhance its operations. One project i learnt about recently known as Code of Talents seeks to ignite learners motivation through micro-learning and will reward incentive to learners who use the platform. I think an idea like this will truly influence the learners' behavior towards learning Cool Cool Cool

Yes I agree with that, but this is only for selected country who accepted bitcoin legally and ofcourse because they accepted it already, they used it as part of their money that can buy in store or anything that is possible in the usage of it. So in conclusion, I was agree with that statement above

If it is happen then it is a good news but actually, in my country it is not happen, may be in the coming years, something good changes like tuition accept bitcoin and some schools also accept bitcoin in a official level, but still it can't see it.Because bitcoin is easy to accept and they cash out immediately and no risk.  This may cause become popular and well known to other country and to the people, and around the world. I hope this may happen also in my country in the coming days.

That will be a big help for students who uses bitcoin, so they could pay all of their expenses and to provide all of their basic needs. It is a sign that bitcoin as a digital currency will stay in digital world and is stable if more people will utilize it. The higher the demand the longer and stronger it will stay. I hope someday it will happen also in my country.

It will be so amazing if our schools are authoritatively tolerating bitcoin for installment educational cost charge in School. I think our understudy is must upgrade a learning to simple approach to acquire parcel of cash because to bitcoin. if our school can accepts bitcoin as tuition fee it will break barriers and limits where our physical cash can't get to....

This is good news, with the acceptance of bitcoin at the university will make its value will continue to grow and become a digital currency that is increasingly in demand by the public. I think that more schools and universities will start accepting it in future as like the stores, retailers and restaurants because people are realizing the importance of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies day by day and that's a positive sign.

This can really affect how bitcoin is adopted in the country. Although they do not expect many students to use bitcoin as a method of payment initially, but once the school is open, this will be the hottest topic on campus.

I heard their are some schools that allow bitcoin as payment because it can be used as an advantage. For me, it is really not hard to monitor who pays but i don't think all parents will agree with this.

This is good, real good. If schools officially accept Bitcoin for tuition, it is a great welcome development. This means more acceptability. The Academic world is beginning to accept. They will speak more and promote it maybe at public lectures, seminars and symposia. This will also attract more investments to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. Big thumbs up to the schools who are early adopters of Bitcoin. More to follow in future.

Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats. As bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies become more popular and widely accepted, expect to see universities around the world to not only accept them as payment, but also introduce courses focused on blockchain technology. A few months ago, I did read a press that the business school ESMT Berlin became the first German university to accept the cryptocurrency as payment.

The Montessori Schools in Flatiron and SoHo, which has a student body of just over 300 kids, ages 3 to 6 , began accepting bitcoin for its $31,900 per year tuition in spring in 2017. Five parents paid in the cryptocurrency for the current school year.

Not really a surprise.
My college here in southern US accepts it too and a lot of students are paying with cryptocurrency. And you will not be taxed fo that payment.

I think it is a good thing that many more people are getting to know bitcoin and accept it.
