Im almost ready to buy. My biggest frustration is finding the pool that has the highest hash. I dont want to hear that I can "still make money on other lower hash pools", because its simply not true. So say I buy smarterhash, and it tells me that goldcoin is the most profitable for me. Problem is lets say the difficulty is 90. Im now searching for the pool that is getting 99% of the blocks because it has enough hash power, most all the others have none. *IF* your software can tell me which pool has the highest hash for that coin your suggesting I mine, then youve got me sold on your highest plan. Ive read a bit, and smarterhash does look good, but does it tell you which pool has the highest hash? If not do you plan to implement this in the very near future?

I have other letters like, but I've been consumed working in and working with my programmers on Version2 of SmarterHash which will be released on 4/20/15

More details to follow soon

STARTING TODAY: 3/26/15 - WE ARE OFFERING A 15 DAY UNCONDITIONAL MONEY BACK GUARANTEE ON SMARTERHASH.COM

This is what paying for a subscription to a service is for, it stands head and shoulders (and waistline) above the free add supported calculations which basically tell you sh!t..

Sorry but I cannot pay $50 to make more on 30 MH. Do you have any statistics of $/MH or anything similar over time? If it's such a great improvement it should be easy to see.

I think it will be tough to make much of anything with just 30Mh/s unless you get lucky with a new coin release :-)

That is an absolutely correct statement..  With my 18 mh/s, I have to work to make my rig pay for itself.  With smarterhash, it does, and consistently.   Grin

Smarterhash is a tool.  Like any other tool, it took time and money to create, so you have to buy it.  I'm a mechanic/technician by trade, so the right tools save me a lot of time.  Smarterhash does that for me in mining.  Also, like all tools, they take time to pay for themselves, and in 4 months it has almost paid for itself for 2 years, just in the difference over what I made mining without it. (it will be about another week)

It ain't for everybody.  But I don't know of anyone that is already using it, that doesn't love it.  Have you seen any complaints?

Yeah unfortunately there aren't many coins that limit your scrypt power too to prevent the large asics from dominating. I was doing well on MRR for awhile when that was the case, but not so much now.

In fact 4 of them pay over twice at much as Goldcoin, so with this miners 300/Mh/s instead of making $8.35 /day they could be making over $18.00 if they were a SmarterHash member because they'd know which coins are paying the best.

I think our hashrate just tripled causing difficulty to rapidly increase. Maybe this individual started mining before the hashrate increased, or he's speculating that our new client being released this month will cause a price spike, or perhaps he's a loyal Goldcoin adopter mining and holding.

This is assuming nothing changes in the net hashrate or difficulty for the entire day.  How can anyone predict this?

Very good point and no one can predict this, however history is typically a pretty good indicator along with trend lines which is why we give people charts for the past 24 hours, 48 hours and 7 days which prove to be very accurate for established coins and even for coins with rapidly varying hash rates such as dogecoindark. In addition we show how much someone could have made in the prior 24 hours using calculations based on actual readings from the block and coin value measured every 5 minutes which are dead accurate. These are exactly the types if information I point out in the SmarterHash videos so that people can be armed with as much information and knowledge as possible in order to make informed decisions.

That being said, the ultimate responsibility for choosing a coin lies with the miner to digest the information and form their own conclusions based on buy walls, trends, pump and dump history, and information posted which can and often does affect coin values.

I always appreciate this type of input because I find that people's biggest enemy in terms of choosing coins is their own lack of understanding of all the variables that can affect the coin or lack of due diligence on the coin and then mining under false assumptions with unrealistic expectations.

thanks!

as an example: here's a coin I have been mining for the last 7 days and I feel pretty comfortable about what's it's average network hash rate will be for the next 24 hours.

juts a quick follow up...

within 15 minutes of me posting the message above that I had switched one of my machines to Mona - Mona's network Hash went from 94 MH/s to 119 MH/s - the highest it has ever been.

well sorry to report... I've switched again and left Mona for a higher paying coin if you're watching and I know you are... Smiley

this sounds like way too much work to make a $ 2-3 more an hour.

I like your other idea, point mutiple miners to 4 or so coins and sell high etc.

depending on how much hash you have an extra $3/hour is $36/day or $1,116 / month can be quite substantial. I see people making  $1/day mining in the pools.

its not too much work for me to press a few keys to net an extra $1,116 / month.

LOL, I think he is referring to people with decent mh/s, only making $1 per day, and people throwing 400 mh/s at coins like mooncoin with crap value.

My iffy rig can make $1 per day mining on whatever, but using smarterhash can make $2 on $3 on a good day..  Average that into a bunch of $1 per day and it brings the average right up.  30% to 40% is easy, working out the averages versus mining blind.

I do have some hashra's on order, so I've been playing with the larger hashrate they provide and being attentive to the results, and the ROI on them is cut in about half.  While the ROI on smarterhash has almost paid itself off in 4 months with my current hash, so smarterhash is pretty much all profit from here..  Cheesy

the perfect example is taking place right now on http://gld.lifeforce.info

there's a miner throwing 300 MH/s at this coin.

Now mind you I do pass judgement on anyone for what they choose to mine because they may have ulterior motives but as I write there there are 16 other srcypt coins that pay better daily than Goldcoin.

In fact 4 of them pay over twice at much as Goldcoin, so with this miners 300/Mh/s instead of making $8.35 /day they could be making over $18.00 if they were a SmarterHash member because they'd know which coins are paying the best.

I plan to buy this in the next few days to see how it works i hope .. don't worry i don't share it unless,I'm aloud to, rules are rules, even if I pay for the rule.

I'm going to fire up my X6 thunder after I  finish off a fan mod im going to try out and mine some alt coins want to make the best use of the 22 to 24 MH it pulls not OC .

well will if you let me, kind of did not have the cash till now or do but that's savings:) .

So are you saying that you have Smarterhash tied into your mining pools?  So that it automatically switches your miners for you?

Just a brief update...

When we released SmarterHash (ahead of schedule) last month - it was really only the beginning.

A genuine need existed for timely and accurate scrypt coin mining estimates and SmarterHash is performing that task incredibly well every day and enabling lots of miners to be more profitable daily.

As a pool owner and operator (and a miner myself) I live the reality that every other miner lives on a daily basis.

1. What coin to mine?
2. When to mine it?
3. And once that decision is made : getting my machines switched over to that coin
4. Then I deal with how long do I stay on the coin or has network-hash dropped, value done up. difficulty changed, etc. somewhere else that would cause me to change yet again.

Any number of events could dictate a change but for the most part is all boils down to "where do I get the best 'bang for my buck' in terms of mining."

Along those lines we developed SmarterHash Alerts which notify users of any number of the conditions 'they feel are important' that could dictate a change in their mining strategy.

For me personally one of the most frustrating items I've had to deal with is the technology I inherited when I took over Lifeforce Pools and the lack of an ability to create a single unified login across all pools. The prior owner is a great guy but his intentions were never to offer more than 4 or 5 pools and as I added pools the problem just become more aggravating to me and to the pool users so that was very high on my priority list as we moved forward with SmarterHash and my plans for mining pools.

One of the nice benefits of having a chat board on the pool is that I get to see what people find the most frustrating and by far and away; remote access to their mining machines, re-configuring them and spotty connections or a lack of a connection to move their machines between coins is by far and away the #1 complaint.

So although there is a lot more to come in terms of divulging all of the new features that will be in SmarterHash V2 - here's a taste of just one of the things that's coming.

....more to come in the next few weeks as development and testing proceed...
