what you mine with is irrelevant - it doesn't matter if you have 10 mh/s or 1000 mh/s choosing the wrong coin hurts and unless you've developed what we've developed and it's almost impossible to compile enough data constantly and present it in an intelligible format to make sense of it all.

However using a Titan does present you with challenges because it limits your coin choices to about 10 to 15 coins because of their daily yields.

people with multiple smaller miners have the advantage "quite often of spreading their hashing power around" o course you have the advantage in loer power consumption per MH/s but that can easily be squandered by choosing the wrong coin.

as a pool owner - I see it all - I saw a person the other day with 150 MH/s mining Goldcoin - which was 'insane" if you are mining for profitability - there were at least 14 other coins that would have given this person 4 to 5 times the daily yield they he was getting on Goldcoin -but hey - it's his machine and he can do what he wants - He got the SmarterHash mailer and decided he knew more - too bad that in seven says of mining Goldcoin he lost about $45 in potential income - but on the bright side it was one less person I had to compete with for the more profitable coins, right?

large boxes like your Titan can be more challenging sometimes.

For instance I have two MAT machines (256 MH/s), one A2 and three zeus machines that are 30, 40 and 60 mh/s

lately I have found it's been more profitable for me to sick my 256 MH/s machines on different coins and take my other four machines and allocate about 100mh/s to another two coins in order to optimize my daily returns.

but don't take my word for it. -see for yourself in the Video I put together - you'll want to maximize the screen - it's about 30 minutes in length an thanks for asking and best of luck to you... ps - all of my pools have high  difficulty ports for fast machines like yours.

thanks for the message - sorry I did not see this sooner. I've been suffering from a bad sinus infection for the past several days and every minute I could sit at the computer was working on SmarterHash V2.

I have taken a close look at the potential impact of Hash on Difficulty on a few coins and as much I'd like to delve into it,  it will have to wait until some time in the future...

The plans for Smarterhash were pretty well mapped out 6 months ago when development began (not to say we're not fleet afoot of opportunities should they arise because my dev staff has proven very adept at reacting to my ideas) but at this point in time we are very deep into V2 of SmarterHash and getting close to letting our small group of Beta testers have it at before unleashing it on the mining community at large.

As a miner myself I believe we all share one very common and important goal and that is not to waste hashing power and having the tools and technology available that allows me to react quickly to ever changing mining coin dynamics in order to maximize my ROI.

It's one of the reasons  that my pools are PPLNS because I think people should be rewarded regardless of whether they're around or not when a block is found....i.e No wasted hash.

I can't disclose all the new features that will be in SmarterHash Version 2 because there's a lot of tweaking going on right now- other than to say that all current SmarterHash subscribers will have full access to all the new features (at no additional charge) and I am positive they will really like what they get and have access to.

Oh - and to answer your other question about the higher subscription level. You won't find any additional features in the higher subscription levels because SmartherHash subscriptions are based on the ROI and a miner with a much higher level of Hashing power is simply going to make more money using SMH than a smaller miner and I simply wanted to have a fair pricing model.

From a personal standpoint - the product is a dream come true for me based on everything from a product like this - it's a been a real joy designing and leading the development of something that has turned out even better than I had imagined. I know I'm at least 30% to 40% more profitable than I've been in a long time and they are days where I really make a killing. The product has really opened my eyes to strategies on making a lot more money mining....and strategies will play a big role in V2.

I have a subscription to your SmarterHash and I think it is absolutely genius.  (Obviously you have put a lot of work into this and I can see why you would want to protect the data from others.  You can't find this data anywhere else).  I also have a new baby at home - so my time is limited on checking it out thoroughly, so I apologize if this question is already answered.

But - if I put in 250Mh/s and compute the data -- is it taking the potential difficulty increase (due to my hash being added to each coin's net hash) and then calculating estimated 24 hour profit?

Will I see dramatic changes if I upgrade to the next level? (As I would typically put 1Gh/s behind something - but only if it can handle it overall).

Also - one thing that would be helpful -- is if you can provide a tip here and there of future things to look for or new coins to potentially mine.

For example -- SONG coin is going to be one to look for in a week or so - when the difficulty drops dramatically for a few days.  It will be a feeding fest for miners.

And finally, is there somewhere that shows how often the difficulty changes on each coin?  I know most coins these days change difficulty on every block, or every few blocks, but I'm sure there are a few like SONG that change much less often.  It would be nice to know which coins have dramatic difficulty shifts, so that they can be watched closer for that "buffet moment."  LOL

And I saw several coins with lowered hashrates, because DOGED sucked up several miners, and mined other stuff that was considerably more profitable, because I could see what was happening.   

Today on Doged was a prime example of the Herd Mentality in mining.

I mined this coin like crazy a few weeks ago and rolled up over 3M coins - I was sitting on a lot of them until I saw the value rise today....

Take a close look at the chart - Network hash hit 78 GH/s today but there were no more blocks generated than any other day.




and yes  - the value of the coin went up also, but not 10 fold like network hash - so there are lot of people out there who fought over scraps today in the mining frenzy and wound up with a measly .00014 btc/mh based on 100 mh/s of mining power....and by the way - if you threw 500 MH/s at Doged the return was worse: 0.00012 btc/mh/

if you ran out and rented 2 GH/s it gets worse: 0.000107 btc/mh - $51 yield - the same 2gh/s would have gotten you $101.78 on Mona today...but hey - maybe Doged will go higher tomorrow - there may be light at the end of the tunnel yet....or maybe people holding will dump.... who knows right?

I know that risk, reward and return go hand in hand and I'm not risk adversed at all, but I also know a lot of Pioneers wound up with arrows in their backs : LOL

However - this herd mentality was exploited by lots of SmarterHash users...




however there were 14 other scrypt coins that vastly out performed DOGED today and one that generated this based on 100 MH/s of mining power - where was your hash today - Mine was not on Doged.

Both.  It shows you current information and trending information.

So does this chase hot coins or predict the next hot coin?

Same here..  Was one of 3 original alpha/beta testers, and watched it develop from a simple aid, to an indispensable mining tool over the last 8 weeks or so.  It turned my mining from iffy whether it was profitable, to profitable all the time when I mined by it's recommendations.  30% to 40% increase is not unrealistic for me.

Not to mention, that watching and learning the patterns that coin mining takes, can make them even more profitable.  Set an alert, switch the miners, back to life without spending hours guessing at what to mine next.

I paid for the service, and it has almost paid for itself in 8 weeks, in beta testing, with small hash.  I've also been made aware of future upgrades that will make it even easier to use.

Can't wait for my astro's, those will be making max profit from the day they arrive.

First - you are paying to use the system, not a pool. The SmarterHash system currently has links to pools on Lifeforce.info which are free and open to the public, but you can take the coin recoommendation you get from SmarterHash and go mine in any pool of your choosing. As it states on the Purchase Screen (had you gotten that far) - SmarterHash is NOT a mining pool.

In response to your other questions.

SmarterHash users have a distinct advantage over other miners in terms of finding out very quickly which coins will yield the most profitable results based on the hash rate they enter and if this information is shared with others then YOU (as a SmarterHash subscriber) and all other SmarterHash users LOSE that advantage.

If everyone has the advantage then no one has the advantage and it becomes a level playing field. SmarterHash was designed for people who are willing to invest their money to get an advantage over other miners and make more money and they do not want what they pay for to be given away or shared with others because that would not be fair to them.

Pretty easy to understand. I do not want to share how well im doing with anyone, if im paying for the service I do not want anybody else showing how well certain coins are doing.
I have been using smartherhash for some time now, and im pretty impressed how it pumped my daily income by at least 25-30%...
Only problem I have with Jeff and his program is that is possible for all to get it and use it. I wanted him to keep it secret !

why asking a minimum of 50 USD for using your pool?

I don't see that as a real working possibility..  Yes, auto switching is easy, but "most profitable" is a moving target.

As an example, every time it would move a miner from one coin to another, it opens up profitability on what was just vacated, and would either move them back, or move someone else into that old spot.

With all the hopping back and forth, it would be like one of them little puzzles where you have to slide the squares around to make a picture.  Too much time swapping, and not enough time mining.

I have been beta testing smarterhash since beta version came out. Some tweaking was needed and the team behind smartherhash addapted the incomming beta ideas. Today a very finished and reliable helping program is a part of my daily mining routine and has increased my earnings around 17-20% a day.
Can't wait to see the day were smartherhash is not for sale anymore and you have to sign up at a pool running throughout smarterhash…. That would be awesome!
