Totally depends on what you are selling, If its other cryptos you are letting go to Buy ETH then there is o problem at all,Ethereum is a god coin with a bright future, it shall be one of the coins to rule the crypto market in future, therefore investing in it is not such a bad idea, just ensue however that you don't sell too much of other quality coins in your portfolio to get ETH maybe sell half and leave half to gain value, this way you have a double gain.Do not however sell persona things like houses to Buy ETH

It depends of what things you are going to sell because of cryptocurrencies. It seems to me that real estate for example can be more stable and reliable asset than crypto even Ethereum. I buy ETH coins for part of my salary.
