If it is due to panic, it would be a dumb decision to make but if it's because of urgency, I think it is not a stupid decision. We are all on different situations. Going back on panic selling, it is not an advisable thing to do because there is always a tendency for the market to recover and as such, waiting is just the solution.
selling bitcoin is now the wrong decision. now bitcoin is falling this is the right time to buy or hold instead of selling. if we sell now then we will incur losses because bitcoin will rise again all the bitcoin optimistic will rise again. when prices rise again you do not have bitcoin and do not make a profit. do not sell to be patient a few months to earn a big profit.

who said that it is stupid when someone decided to sell his Bitcoin? just think about it, everyone who owns Bitcoin knows that it's volatile. so when they decide to sell their Bitcoin they are 100% sure that they're getting a lot of Money. everyone from the crypto World knows how to wait and hold. then sell when the right time comes.
Selling Bitcoin and buying it back at a lower price may make you short-term profitable, but I don't think that this way of trading can make you get more profit, the way to get more profit is to hold Bitcoin, and wait for Bitcoin's market to fully recover.

Selling right now would be immature if you are using BTC as an investment asset. Institutional money is just starting to put skin in the game, especially with Coinbase opening up their Index fund to investors [1]. This should be taken as a good sign.
Nonetheless, as other posters have pointed out, there's nothing inherently wrong with selling BTC. People have lives and they need access to their local currencies. Nothing wrong with that.

It was the best decision I have made. I sold my bitcoins, gained profit and I rebuy the same amount of bitcoins when it crashed from 20K to 6200.

I think sellimg of bitcoin is not stupid decision but very stupid decision.if we talk about today then btc price go to very deep so many people sell it and that's why coinmarketcap keep decreasing but don't worry about it. There are many big whales also available into market and many of times they played ame like this. So in situations like this don't sell btc but hold it and if possible then buy more. i think this is the golden period of buy btc beacause it can give you huge profits in future.
We all not stupid because some time we need to sell our bitcoin for covering our daily needs if a person do not feel any need for selling bitcoin in to fiat or if he is investing his money in some other altcoin then for sure it can be consider as a stupid decision because in my view investing in bitcoin is best for any investor but still it is not necessary because every person has its own choice and he will surely going with his own strategy and planning
No I do not agree with this statement. There is nothing stupid in people who will sell Bitcoin at the time they need it. But it is foolish to spend money by selling Bitcoin unnecessarily.
Actually selling bitcoin is not stupidity. we are all intitiled to our own opinion, so no matter when you sell your bitcoin it can never be called stupidity being it long term or short term. so whenever you want to sell please do because it is your right.
Selling a bit of coins is a stupid decision that does not apply to everyone who sells coins at a low price and a very sort time. I think long-term investment is good and good at selling at the right time at the right price.
