I believe someone with a bought full member account just scammed me $600 Paypal. I'm so sad at the moment. Stop this movement!
Better that it's out in the open where newbies can clearly see what is going on, rather than hidden somewhere off-site. Use your sense when considering trading with others. Use established escrow to reduce the likelihood of being scammed. Certainly don't trust someone because they have a certain rank or post count (why this would make someone more trustworthy is beyond me anyway).

I really don't like this motion as the hero members should please go against this. Any newbie can just fall into the trap and lose his/her money. that's why I always use escrow and middlemen to trade.
Exactly, i think the one reason why people buying aside from scamming is the signature campaign.. because you can easily return your investment in 1-2 months..
specially if you buy the account cheaper...

I don't know why people refuse to acknowledge that if it was banned here, it would go on elsewhere, and therefore see why it's better to have it here, in the open.

Nice to see what my account is worth, but in reality you can't really buy reputation, people will know whoever buys these aren't the original they won't act like them and it will be an obvious farce.
I don't think the buyers buy the accounts for reputation. I think they buy them for the status so that they can enter on the signature campaign and can earn more.

This should be banned. Only scammers will buy such accounts.
Most of the buyers buy it for signature campaign. Most scam are done by newbies with their new created account.
Maybe both, right? These accounts automatically get some trust level as a start!
