Wallet address I sent to is here: 12ngg3CB9VDvkbFDx7JKY92i9kYgDmiEaj
Do you also have a screenshot showing this is Coinbase's deposit address?

I have pictures of the transactions on Kraken which show the wallet addresses that are identical I am not sure how to post pix on this site tho
There's no need to show screenshots from Kraken's withdrawals, it's clear they went to 12ng~.

OP claims he sent the coins to 12ngg...

But somehow the first lot then went from 12ngg to 36ii5, but the 2nd lot didn't??!? Huh Huh Huh

Something else has happened here that the OP hasn't quite explained. Did they withdraw from Kraken to another wallet app before sending to Coinbase? Huh

I have pictures of the transactions on Kraken which show the wallet addresses that are identical I am not sure how to post pix on this site tho
Upload the pics to an image hosting service like imgur and then post the links generated by that service

Morning guys...I will post everything I have on my end. Email conversations with coinbase etc.
~snip~
I will post what I have below

You should NOT post all of data (your emails with coinbase, .. ) which contain sensitive information publicly online.

For now, the address you have sent the funds to (or the tx id) is enough. We can get a better picture of the whole situation knowing this.

Morning guys...I will post everything I have on my end. Email conversations with coinbase etc.
At this time coinbase closed my case and are saying that the wallet address I sent funds to is not linked with my account.

But you did got the first deposit credited on your account ?
What wallet and OS are you using ? What device did you use to access coinbase when depositing ?

Funny part is is that the wallet address both transactions were sent to does not show up in my account history for wallet addresses.

Your history on coinbase or your local wallets history ?
Please answer all open questions, it would simplify finding out what happened a lot.

Wallet address I sent to is here: 12ngg3CB9VDvkbFDx7JKY92i9kYgDmiEaj

Transaction #1 did go through...was for .09481 and the transaction #2 did not go into my coinbase account..it was for .62574

I don't know what to do...I have provided all the proof to coinbase to fix the situation and they are still reluctant to help...anything else you need to help me I can provide

I have pictures of the transactions on Kraken which show the wallet addresses that are identical I am not sure how to post pix on this site tho

This list is too long Tongue No customer support employee has the time to get to all the details this way. Adding your life story about your kids is touching, but doesn't make your case easier to understand. Stick to the important details only.

I don't have time now to read all the details, so tell me if this is correct:
36ii5gNkZw2vAZ8TVk9dYXtVVbJxk68hiE is your Coinbase deposit address
12ngg3CB9VDvkbFDx7JKY92i9kYgDmiEaj is where you sent your funds twice
The first deposit to 12ng~ somehow got forwarded to 36ii~.

Update: I like what bob123 says much better. If that's the case, you're good!

Alright.. so looking at the transaction and the first email this is what i can conclude:

You have deposited 0.09471172 BTC from 12ngg3CB9VDvkbFDx7JKY92i9kYgDmiEaj to 36ii5gNkZw2vAZ8TVk9dYXtVVbJxk68hiE.

Coinbase has confirmed that 36ii5gNkZw2vAZ8TVk9dYXtVVbJxk68hiE is their address (from the 1st mail).

12ngg3CB9VDvkbFDx7JKY92i9kYgDmiEaj obviously is your address. Your wallet does hold the private key for this address (what wallet are you using ??)

Afterwards you have sent 0.62574 BTC to 12ngg3CB9VDvkbFDx7JKY92i9kYgDmiEaj (which you have control of), confusing it with the address from coinbase (36ii5gNkZw2vAZ8TVk9dYXtVVbJxk68hiE).

Your coins (0.62574 BTC) are still under your control. You can access them with the same wallet (and wallet file / seed / etc..) as when depositing to coinbase the first time.
They should be visible in your wallet.

Anyhow I will be uploading all I have...I am very stressed out as it is a lot of money to me, I have an 11month old boy and another on the way end of Nov so I need to get my money!

Are you really sure the both addresses are identical ? Did you check that afterwards ?
You might have a copy-clipboard-malware which changes an copied address to the attackers one.

But if you are sure those two addresses are identical, all you can do is contact coinbase and show them your first deposit which got credited (to that specific address).
They should be able to find their mistake and credit you the amount.

Or there's really a typo in the second transaction's address.

Since the checksum is 32 bits, the probability of entering an wrong address that will still decode to a valid one is roughly 1 in 4.3 billion.

Thats rather unprobable. Copy/pasting the wrong address or a clipping malware does seem way more realistic in this case.

Coinbase says that the wallet address is not linked to my coinbase account...however this is not true as transaction #1 for $600 roughly went into my coinbase wallet...transaction #2 is still sitting on the block chain and is roughly $4,000 which is a lot for me.
Does Coinbase show you a history of all deposits? I'm not familiar with Coinbase, but assuming it does, it will prove you've used that address before.
Can you post what exactly you sent to Coinbase? From what I've seen about support from exchanges, it helps to be very clear and only to the point, so they can forward it to someone who can actually fix this for you.

I have all the picture proof of the transaction on Kraken showing both sent to same wallet....coinbase keeps telling me that the wallet is not a coinbase wallet.
Can you tell us the address where you've sent your Bitcoins from Kraken exchange?
Or link the (edited/censored) image for us to view.

The problem could be in coinbase's system detection as Thirdspace mentioned, but you've already contacted them regarding this.
Just need to re-enumerate your statement.
Since most exchanges are batching withdrawals, there might be an error in coinbase's side due to the huge number of inputs exchange withdrawals usually has.
Or there's really a typo in the second transaction's address.

We'll never be able to give some insights unless you can provide more information.

Kraken says the transaction was successful so they cannot do anything on there end...Coinbase says that the wallet address is not linked to my coinbase account...however this is not true as transaction #1 for $600 roughly went into my coinbase wallet...transaction #2 is still sitting on the block chain and is roughly $4,000 which is a lot for me.
then you need to address this to coinbase support
make sure you pointed out you are receiving the 2nd payment on the same (previous) receiving address
I suspect this is a 2-payment-in-1-txid issue, which sometime the 2nd not get picked up by the system
by any chance you are willing to tell us corresponding address and both transaction ids?

Hi everyone! I am not sure where I need to post to get help...I will explain my situation below:

On August 9th I sent two transactions from my Kraken account to my coinbase account. These transactions were sent to the same coinbase wallet address about 15min apart... one transaction was for .09 Bitcoin and the other .64 roughly. The first transaction went into my coinbase wallet no problem, the second transaction has still not hot my coinbase account. I have contacted both Kraken and Coinbase with no luck. I have all the picture proof of the transaction on Kraken showing both sent to same wallet....coinbase keeps telling me that the wallet is not a coinbase wallet. I am stuck and have no way to get my $4,000. I am very stressed out and do not know what to do! Any help someone can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You!
