Loading /etc/config/cgminer

I put 8.8.8.8 in Use custom DNS servers but still nothing Sad

If the ip/network settings are changed, the page will not continyue to auto-refresh -> just refresh the page/go back to the miner IP address and it will be up-to-date

Disable NTP. Saving will hang if the miner cant connect to NTP.
And try ping openwrt.org from diagnostics.

Is it actually dead? The problem is that the VS series is group regulated, so it uses both the 5V line and the 12V line in its feedback circuit. If you draw current from only the 12V rail, the voltage on the 12V rail will drop a lot (sometimes under 11V) and the 5V rail will go really high, which can cause it to shut down. I have a VX450 that is similar, it will shut down if I try to run a Single or S1 on it, but if I draw 1A from the 5V rail it runs fine.

you right it just shutdown, and need some time to recover.
now i'm using it just for 1 blade, still afraid to using full 2 blade.
i will look for 5 ohm resistor 10 watt for 5 volt dummy load.

MAKE SURE YOUR NETWORK (WAN) SETTINGS ARE:
ip: 192.168.X.XXX
subnet 255.255.255.0
router: 192.168.X.1
ipv4 broadcast: BLANK
dns: 8.8.8.8

the initial settings do not work on 95% of home networks without clearing the ipv4 broadcast and changing the dns

SSH into your miner and try: ping 8.8.8.8

If you get a successful ping then you have net access but no DNS. To fix this, go into your webGUI and change the adapter's DNS entry to 8.8.8.8. Reboot the unit and then try the diagnostic check(s) again to see if it works.

You would use: osc.ispace.co.uk:3335

No need for the http:// or tcp+stratum://

It has only 1 cable with 2 branches.
My initial idea was to use the 8 pin CPU connector with an extension, where I cut the cables at one end and just plug them in the board connector, but something went really bad there.
Now I have connected both branches of the same PCI-Е cable and all seems to be working just fine - I was measuring temps with an IR thermometer for like 20 minutes.
Obviously I would prefer to use the CPU cable, but I would not risk it with these cheap quality extension cables.

Now I have to find a way to use it.

I've been using 2 cx600s with 2 ants for about 4 days now. I have been using the supplied PCI connector without issue. I know this isn't recommend. I check the cables with an ir thermometer at random intervals They haven't been hot at all. My ax860 will arrive on Wednesday.

No, that doesn't sound like a converter cable. I want to convert my 8 pin CPU cable to 6 pin PCI-E, so I can plug it directly into the PCI-E connector on the board.

Yeah, Do not use those. You got ripped off by One Hung Lo mfg co. I had bought some PCI extender cables, when I stripped it there were ONLY 5 TINY STRANDS of copper inside the wired labeled 18AWG! They were more like 26AWG. I took them back to microcenter and finally got my money back after making a stink of the safety hazard these posed. Dont go cheap on extender cables, sadly, you cannot trust those off brands, they can burn your house down. Maybe Cablez can make some for you?

I will definitely return them, but I need to act quick as my miners are idle.
I can make them myself, but I am looking for a ready made solution, that I can just buy quick.
Any ideas?
