It's not ok, yep?

I already connected double 700watt chieftec 1 for 1 blade

Solved. 1  of psu is  broken.

Now its  works from 650w chftck.

xxoxoxxo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo
oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo

178 Gh/s
Freq OC to 375
Connected via WIFI

Pretty happy with this after all of the setup issues but...

Is this acceptable/common on these machines having 5 chips out of service?

Anyone know if it's okay to change miner configs "on the fly"? Probably best to turn off wifi, chage config, and reboot ...

No Overclock. Corsair 1200  ATX PSU that feeds a total of 3 Antminers. 1140 Watts at the wall.
That's cutting it too close for stable operation of 3 units, IMO :| FWIW, I've found it best to leave myself 20% headroom on PSU's.

Don't confuse AC with DC. 1140w AC input @ 90% efficiency = 1026w DC output. Well under the 1200w rated output.

So this means I'm good and I can discard the PSU as the potential culprit for the errors I'm seeing?
No, this mean what i say before, that your PSU is to small for 3 Ants. 360-390watt each x3 =1080-1170watt consume.

If your PSU bring 1200watt max output, you will got effective about 1030w. So in any case it is to low!

You can believe it, or test it as i wrote above, or wait for 10 more opinion with the same result.

Agree that it's close to the limit although I think you are still confusing input with output as someone else already explained:

1140w AC input (actually measured at the wall) @ ~90% efficiency = 1026w Output (the 1200 refers to OUTPUT not input).
Another example: if PSU was spec'd 600W at 60% efficiency, under 100% load (DC Output), it'd draw 1000W from the wall.

In any case, I'll split the load with another PSU just for the sake and see what happens! :-)

hi everybody, just want to know what is the right way to stop the miner and power off  Huh thanks!
WTF? Use the switch on your PSU / connection plug board???  Huh Huh Huh

You can't be serious with that question...and for what pull the network cable? Senseless. What you got for an advance if you pull the lan cable?

Just turn the switch off, simple as that.

Pull the network cable and wait for the fans to spin down and then turn off your PSU.

I think I agree with this. Not all 1200W PSUs are really capable of 24x7 operation at max capacity. If the power falters chips can be disabled for error rates. In comparison, Graphics cards only draw maximum capacity for a few minutes or hours at a time.

What does this ASIC miner status mean?

xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx

In other Antminers, I'm seeing zeroes instead....

Why the difference? Which is good?

 Shocked Huh

Mean your Blade is full of error! Should been oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo then all chips work properly.

Try to turn off, wait few minute and turn on again.

but then how come I seem to have accepted shares with those marked fully with 'xxxxx'

I reset it and some 'x' are now replaced with '0's but still have some 'xxx'

RMA?Huh

The alternative is to just leave it. My ants been perfectly happy but occasionally I will restart it and get a bag of x and o's but the has rate is good on the pool. I have even had all x's but on checking the pool a good rate although it did give me a big WTF moment of dreading an RMA.

Rarely the hash rate only hits 2/3 of what it should be and I have a bag of x and o's. I have discovered that when this happens it is easiest to let the hash rate stabilise to what ever number it reaches, hit reboot and then wait and the hash rate goes back to normal. I have never had to hit the reboot twice.

It means the PSU should be fine (assuming it is a single 12v rail PSU). You're not near the overall wattage limit, but there might be other issues. The best way is simply to test it. Try each miner out by itself on the PSU.

Ah ok, i was reading wrong. But try to turn off 1 unit, and test with only 2 miner. Reset the unit with the errors (turn off a few minute and turn on again). If the errors dissappear the PSU is the reason. I guess with 3 non OC units is 1200 even to small, because the PSU deliver 1200Watt max. and your miner consume 360-390 each, in my opinion you are to close to the limit already.

So for a stable line you need at least 1300- 1400 Watt max for 3 miner.

Then you got the reason. 1 OC Ant need alone 450-500 Watt, for all 3 your PSY is definitly to small.

Oh, as I said, no overclocking. Normal Antminer is 380 so even with 3 it wouldn't reach 100% load. Even if it did, the PSU would simply draw more power from the wall, which is not the case. Not sure what's the relationship with throwing errors anyway.....
