In the past few weeks I have been very diligent in buying Doge, although if I collect only a little over a year, it will certainly be a lot. The price of Doge is very cheap compared to other altcoins, of course this is when only pump one time, I will have very much profit. So to hold on to the Doge in the longterm is the right choice.

I have some DOGE, received from faucets. Not much just around 500.

After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.

I have gone through some articles about DOGE's future price and I got some 50-50 opinions. I discussed with my friend and he suggested me to hold till mid-2021, I can't say why till mid-2021.

It's true that many sites have started accepting DOGE, thus it is getting popular so there is a chance that the price may increase. Still, my knowledge says there are certain loopholes like there is no upper limit in mining DOGE and it is still much easier to mine compared to others. In short, the demand & cost curve is a bit of a failure here. Though one can't say what might happen after 20 years.

Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.

I would not hold doge because as far as i know it is just a fun or meme coin with no real use cases and utilities. Yes you can transfer them as payment option but perhaps it is the only use case they posses so I would look for top serious projects with multiple use cases rather putting my money in a fun coin.

I also have DOGE in my wallet but I also never thought if I would sell bitcoin for DOGE and definitely wouldn't do that but I will keep both for the long term
I think it is a good choice to hold bitcoin for a long period of time but for Dogecoin of course this is very risky because in my opinion the current development price of Dogecoin is not too surprising, if your reference is holding Dogecoin only because the price increase that occurred due to Elon Musk's tweet is of course this It won't happen twice, I'm personally not sure if Dogecoin will have a good price in 2021 and maybe 2021 will belong to polka dot altcoins like XRP.

I agreed with you that transactions fee of bitcoin is on a higher side for now I will advise you to hodl  your BTC, once the issue of scalability of bitcoin is resolved probably with full deployment of Lightning Network high transaction fees will be a thing of the past, Bitcoin has been pumping well among cryptos lately it stood out to be the most outstanding now, many investors prefers investing in it
In the other hand DOGE and other altcoin are just too slow not volatile pricewise highly risky for investment.

Doge gives you surprises a lot of the times. I personally don't recommend anyone to hold Dogecoin but the people acutally holding it for last couple of years have profited larger than those who holds other coins. Be it the viral Tik Tok video promoting Dogecoin or significant figure and Elon Musk openly expressing his love for Dogecoin, there are a lot meme worthy ways this meme coin hit a price pump.

Yes, it's one of the original cryptocurrencies with bitcoin but IMO it's not that good if you're after is profit. There are other altcoins worth to hodl that can give you huge return. Doge's price doesn't move that much that it only pumps when you don't even expect it to.

even though the value is small, but strongly agree that it is also taken into account for whether you want to hold back to become an investment because seeing the movement of the past few weeks is quite good and it is very wise if you want to do that, of course with sufficient value in order to enjoy maximum results.

because the value is not that big, there is nothing wrong with giving it to other altcoins as an alternative so that when bitcoin will increase sharply next year, it can enjoy great things again compared to holding doge.

In relation to the symbolism "Doge" has the symbol of an animal considered to be a friend of man. The archetypal energy behind the currency is very strong and virtually all investors and supporters are very attuned to the project. Regarding the project, cost and benefit and investment, I believe that Doge can succeed because it has a market above $500 million and for a fantasy project that market is huge.

Try to find something big and long term,, put the investment in coin that will become a giant.
I see a doge of something old and through slow development,,doge can not be collected on a large investment for the long term.but if you trade on a doge maybe it's quite a yield.
I recommended keeping something big and taking advantage there

I don't hate DOGE but I don't really think that it would really have a good future as other Top Listed Alt-Coins.
It has been around but nothing huge happen since I got into crypto it still is a low value same as always so I could consider it as stable coin Grin .
The only way that the price would go high is if we would look at it at Dollar rate or Fiat rate specially now that BTC has skyrocket again.

The crypto market is unpredictable. No one can guarantee that a certain coin will skyrocket sooner or later. And there are a lot of factors influence the price of DOGE like Musk's tweet, for example. I store some DOGE on my OWNR wallet, I'm not going to sell it in the nearest time because I believe DOGE has a great capability.

I see DOGE has a more stable price if Bitcoin does not increase at all. So Doge coins are good for you to invest in for a long time because you are not surprised by the decline in these tokens.

Dogecoin is a typical example of a pump and dump coin. It can go up 20-25% with 1 tweet of Elon Musk and a couple of days later, it will get dumped again. We saw these pumps and dumps already a couple of times this year. It is a good coin for short term trading but, in my eyes, not for long term holding.

I think doge is a coin that should not be this high but somehow it is. Normally when you create a mock coin or a token that usually gets a tiny bit of attention at first then gets forgotten but doge was probably either the first or at least one of the first and it got famous and it is still something.

I would say by the looks of it doge will always be crypto legacy and that is why it will always worth something, I think having bitcoin or ethereum is a smarter decision if I were you, but at the same time I can't say that doge will not be good, it is obvious that doge will be nice and profitable as well. This is why I think you should keep all the doge you have if you want to, I can't see any harm will be done by doge and I doubt that it would ever crash and stop existing, it will always be a crypto legacy project that will worth something.

You should hodl doge for speculation. Doge is the third coin created and its just for fun at first but now it is worth something because btc going very high. Fast and low fee also the community is so much fun and friendly. Its all time high againts btc is 91 satoshi if im not mistaken
That becomes something that must be considered as a good coin to be speculated but everyone should not put all of their money into the doge coin. There are so many whales know that if there's no progress for doge and people must go leave from the doge market when it was getting pumped.
This time doge is not yet pumped and there's a possibility for the pump will come soon too. My friends were also trying to put more and more doge into their bags

I have some doge but it totally disappointed me cause it doesn't raise much if it compared by others currency. So i think I'll be less profitable for you to hold doge instead of hold good currency like btc, eth, bnb and others.i use doge only for trade purpose also.i convert my assests into doge and transfer it others exchange to minimize fee, then covert others currency for trade.

Based from your experience, since you have'nt invest your money and converting it to doge and let along gaining this such coin only from faucets. It will not make you too much devastated when you lose, maybe a little bit of sad because of the idea that you lose. But since it did not came from your fiat money, it would not make a big impact at all.

I wonder that's why you want to hold DOGECOIN because of the fact that you got it from faucets. Just an advice, its good to experiment on different coins for you to have knowledge and learn something from it.

You can hold as much Doge as you like but don`t go all in even if it is being shilled by high profile people  Doge was created as meme and will stay like that  till someone find a good use for it, my advice is buy only if you have extra funds

Yes, many other coins will be worth to hold than just hold doge. Going all in will not be a good strategy because it will make us not use the money to buy another coin, especially if the other coin gets drops. Holding doge will need more patience because this coin needs a long time to increase. But the chance for dogecoin will have to be big to increase, especially if the altcoin season comes.

I don't find any things useful with the Dogecoin other than gambling, most of the people using Doge because of low transaction fee, but the supply of Doge seem to be very high. What you said is right, if we have any spare money, it is always good to use the Doge in the long term profit.

I found out that the Dogecoin you are thinking of converting to BTC or LTC is currently $2, with the exchange cost etc you'll only some cent if you convert the coin so i think the best thing is to hold the coin and for you to have earned up to 500Doge mean you spent alot of time on the faucet, why do you try to develop your account on here instead?
Having said that, dont convert your BTC and LTC to Dogecoin and about the hike transaction fee why dont you make use of BTC tx fee calculator which will provided reasonable fee.
