I also have some dodge coin left from my gambling days a few years back on bitsler. I am not really using them, they are just in my account. If its a good time to sell them I don't really know, but if you don't need the money I would just keep them. Converting them into bitcoins just as we hit 30,000 USD for the first time is not a good idea.

I do not think so holding doge coin is not a good idea. Since 2017 i am following dogecoin. I do not see any potential in this coin. In my experience with this coin this is totally a useless coin. It has not that much price pump since 2017. Others coin who comes later they are doing much better. So i suggest you to convert your balance for erc 20 or binance smart chain. Soo that you can buy upcoming good project coin. And take a good advantage and make a great profit from it. Because now a days most of the successful project comes in erc 20 platform or binance smart chain based. So it will be a better decision excluding holding dogecoin.

If you are going to ask me, only change bitcoins to DOGE if you are planning to use it to transfer the coins from one wallet to another or one exchange to another exchange. It is more convenient to use DOGE for transfers since the fees are way lower than if you transfer Bitcoin from one wallet to another, one exchange to another exchange. Well many traders are doing it so I think you can too. Only convert to altcoins if your purpose is simply to trade.

I hope you can reconsider not converting your BTC to Doge. Doge isn't bad, it's just that in the past year I haven't seen any significant price movements on the Doge coin. I think Doge is more suitable for use on gambling sites.

As such 500 Doge is not a big amount. Holding Doge is not a bad idea in my opinion because from time to time Doge pumps and you can book a good profit. Generally, traders use Doge due to its fewer transaction charges that are the plus point of Doge. But if you have to choose between Doge and Btc I would give priority to BTC.

Why not? From my general experience it is clear that I don't know if DOGE coins will be pumped at this time but if Bitcoin Jodi is in its limited then maybe you can pump. The fact of the matter is that when bitcoin is pumped, all coins are dumped. The main reason is that people are surprised that any coin can be dumped, but the future of DOGI coins is not so good so I think it is better to sell these coins at your own risk.

Although Dogecoin is not among the top 10 cryptos, Dogecoin has a very good potential to be profitable. Moreover, the price of Dogecoin is
also starting to rise nowadays, so Dogecoin's HODL is indeed very good in my opinion. And what makes Dogecoin a safe investment choice,
because many people use Dogecoin to send coins from one exchanges to another exchanges. Maybe because Dogecoin has cheap and fast
transaction fees.
one of the advantages that people often use, because the transaction is fast and the fees are cheap, I also often use Dogecoin for my withdrawal needs, and sell it on a local exchange, because if withdrawal using bitcoin or etherium the fee is too expensive
Good if it's working for you and everyone else, and personally i think DOGE is just the past. But the growth is just PUMP waves from the sharks, you can see when you learn about what happened to DOGE in the past. Anyway, over the past time it has been growing well, i think everyone should take profits and move their targets to more potential coins in the market.

The cheap and fast transactions is the main attraction of dogecoin and many gambling sites accepts them. If anyone is already holding doge then you can hold for the longer term as it will rally once in a while and you can book your profit during that period.

Since OP is holding Doge and planning to convert to Litecoin it is better to hold those coins in Doge as it is not a huge amount you are holding and it is not worth converting when the price of Litecoin already rallied a lot and Dogecoin is yet to rally in recent months.

Bad choice if you sell your Bitcoin and exchange it for Dogecoin.
Yep, it is not a wise decision to change Bitcoin to Dogecoin. While most people want to collect more Bitcoin, why collect Doge? It is clear that Bitcoin has the potential to increase more. While Doge seems not really sure whether to have the bullish or not this year. So, in my opinion, it is much better to join in a coin with more potential to grow its price than following a coin like Doge.

Dogecoin can possibly blast later on however it does not imply that it is smarter to exchange your bitcoin to dogecoin which is bitcoin has a preferable occasion to pick up benefit over dogecoin. Bitcoin still the best in long haul hold.

Bad choice if you sell your Bitcoin and exchange it for Dogecoin. More great opportunities come to virtual currency queens. To do that it's best to rethink.

and it is not recommended to exchange your bitcoins into DOGE. it's not the right decision. and vice versa that Doge has a low selling value, but there is its own uniqueness for holders of this Doge Coin, maybe if you have a Doge, it's better to try your luck by betting your Doge on a gambling site or other site.

You are correct, for me I don't hold doge but I'm using it for gambling purposes, the fee is cheap and transactions can be confirm instantly, just like XRP but with a lower fee. I don't know about the potential of doge but its liquidity is good enough for gamblers who like to use it as a payment system.

I have some DOGE, received from faucets. Not much just around 500.

After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.

I have gone through some articles about DOGE's future price and I got some 50-50 opinions. I discussed with my friend and he suggested me to hold till mid-2021, I can't say why till mid-2021.

It's true that many sites have started accepting DOGE, thus it is getting popular so there is a chance that the price may increase. Still, my knowledge says there are certain loopholes like there is no upper limit in mining DOGE and it is still much easier to mine compared to others. In short, the demand & cost curve is a bit of a failure here. Though one can't say what might happen after 20 years.

Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.

Never asking people on forums what to do with you crypto, sell or buy. Every time I see posts like that, people starting telling you terrible advices, 99% of them is a comletly wrong.

I can just advise you to understand how really working trading, what is mechanics staing inside of price movements, so it could be short basic trading videos.

That is because speculations on tokens making the value. And big traders and funds can impact on prices.

I also hold doge coin but a little amount.cause this coin is so called stable coin, has no progress on its  price.can be manipulate and it always get dumped after little pump.doge may good for trade but not for holders. Even i don't know anyone who set the mainly target on doge for long hold! Can't deny, doge has huge trade volume but i assume, that's because people want to minimize withdrawal fee on exchange

No friend, Don't convert your btc and ltc to doge. Reason is that Dogecoin has not any idea that its price will pump like btc.
As we seen bitcoin price crossed 28k$ figure and can go up to 36k. And doge coin will not give you such profit.
If main reason of conversation is just high fee you can try trx which is bes coin , available in  all exchange and strong
Business idea and great chance of pumping price.
My first suggestion is to hold bitcoin but if you want to convert than trx is best . stay away from degecoin

dogecoin is not the best coin for the holding because it has unlimited supply. sometime Mask pumps this coin but it does not mean that he will do this all the time. dogecoin is good for money transfers because of low comission.

I do the same thing to transact with Dogecoin because the fees are quite low even though there is an increase in prices at the moment.
Doge is not yet getting the bullish trend and at this moment doge is not following the bullish trend that is still happening with bitcoin. You should no worry about the tx fees in doge coin because it's not so crowded as the major coins.
This is a good bet for the long term. the pump for doge is not yet coming and that looks strange.

It is simple, if you believe in Doge's future, just hold your Dogecoin. But if you doubt its future, you are better to sell your Dogecoin and convert to another crypto coin you think better. There are still many crypto coins for the options, you don't need to be confused about holding doge or not. Selling it at a good rate and just buy more potential coin like Ethereum or BNB coin.

for the long term, DOGE is indeed good to hold, because from seeing the history of DOGE's increase,
Doge always experiences a high pump after the price is at the bottom, and this time is the right time to buy Doge again

DOGE coin is a coin which is very dependent from news and Elon Musk`s tweets  Cheesy Maybe it`s very comfortable to use Dogecoins for transactions between exchnages or wallet because of the low fee, but I think it`s quite old coin with no product or revolutionary technology, so I wouldn`t hold it. Risks are high and potential profit is much more less than holding many other coins
