I don't think that right now HIV is spread through blood transfusions in the United States. The medical science has advanced enough to prevent such occurrences. The majority of gay people are not paedophiles, but if the majority of paedophiles are gay then it would likely indicate that part of the dysfunction which led them to be paedophiles also led them to be attracted to their own gender.
