Wow I am surprised that the service has such a bad reputation. I never used it but thought it was a fairly good service to have as far as concepts go. Their rates are high compared to others, this is because they pay you 100% of the funds you are seeking but in order to do that they overcharge the other customer to cover the transaction fee as well as make a profit.

I have opposite experience with Shapeshift. It was very fast and in case of problems, their customer service was helpful. But I would not use it for bigger trades, it is always safer to split them.

It really annoying

I am new to BTC and used to exchange using changelly and it never took more than 5 hours to process.

I did some research and everybody recommends this ShapeShift.

My first attempt to use it and now I am waiting it process my transaction.
I has passed 50 hours already!

I will never use this shapeshift again.

They know the system have problems and still there is no alert on website telling you transaction will take so long to process.

The ticket I opened yesterday has no response.

Please stop recommending this service. It is really bad and unprofessional.

Be a little patient man. Seems like they are having some technical difficulties. Looking at all those Reddit posts it seems like they are very responsive and helpful so far.

Not received BTC and they are good to Advertise on Twitter and not look into the problem, I think thy have the issue with some Payment Gateways since 8-10 days but they never put any notice on their front page.

but they did not.
3 hours after the situation I send them support request #72326 and got only automatic email answer.
Now it has allready passed 55 hours from my support request and I still have no answer and of course no money.
Nice service guys... Very nice support. Bravo!
By the way I sent request at the same time to Exodus wallet support and they answered very fast - after 30 min (not automatic), tried to calm me down and explained the situation. They said "our exchange partner ShapeShift didn't send your Litecoins correctly. They will send your funds manually as soon as they can solve it. You don't need to worry. They are extremely responsive and professionals. Let me know when you hear back from them, please."
That is a high level support! They covered your ass, ShapeShift! Shame on you! Waiting for answer!

after 56 hours I finally got an answer in support ticket (I think after I posted here and Twitter):
and on Twitter - to check my ticket for reply.
So now I am waiting... I will post if something changes.

after 85 hours I finally got my LTC.
As ShapeShipt support said - you should not open copy of request about same problem and you should not comment your own opened ticket since this will reset its place in the queue. If you follow these recommendations ticket will be handled in 48 hours, 72 hours max.

I have already contacted them...I even contacted on Facebook but they are not replying..They are good to post promos but are not replying me. .??

Did you contact their support yet? Seems like something went wrong but I doubt you are getting scammed. They are pretty responsive on Twitter so you could contact them on there.

Why don't they use many exchanges at once to get best prices?

I'm sure changelly working with many exchanges.

All Shapeshift basically does is take your coins and trades on Poloniex.  If Poloniex goes down then Shapeshift does as well, but Shapeshift does a better job crediting deposits and such... (In other words Shapeshift does all the fucking with shithole Poloniex for you.)

If Poloniex takes something offline... Shapeshift goes too.
