Share your Bitcoin spendings here.
Although as you said, there are a series of topics that discuss things like what you mentioned, but in my opinion not all countries are free/legal for Bitcoin spending or spending activities, If that's the case for you, considering the transaction costs incurred with the price of the goods purchased, the costs are more expensive.

For this reason, I think there is little for those who sell/buy goods using Bitcoin, except: transactions which are often carried out here are between wallet to wallet or exchange to exchange, other than that I think it is minimal for those who carry out spending or spending activities withBitcoins.

This also happens to me personally, what should be shown here about spending, even though in my area there are several activities that accept Bitcoin, but I never use it, spending paper money without risking additional costs for spending, maybe.

Is Bitcoin spending not supposed to be a secret? If you ask me, that is supposed to be confidential information as it can pose threat to some people base on their locality. This is a public space and you don't know who is reading your post, so your spending should be secret and confidential.

Same thoughts, I don't want to disclose my bitcoin spending and earnings and I have my right to do so, just like in our primary job wherein salary and compensations is highly confidential because they want to protect our privacy and life to those people who planned something bad. take note that people tends to become irrational when it comes to money.

I think OP's trying to say is to share what you have bought with the use of Bitcoin like buying a laptop, cellphone, etc. It doesn't need to be specific where you would provide a proof of transaction or mentioned numbers for people to be aware. Bitcoin was made to have transactions anonymously for our safety and privacy purposes, and it is indeed you have the right to keep your spending and earnings private which I also prefer. Since we know that people are sometimes scary as they could do such things just to have their hands on money. Maybe sharing just a few experiences wouldn't be so bad just limit what you share and the information for your own safety.

Merry Christmas Bitcoin talk.
Overtime, the bitcoin discussion section has been flooded with multiple posts on how  users have spent certain amounts of their Bitcoin hodlings on different things. And yes if you are an active contributor of the bitcoin discussion section you must have come across posts of such nature multiple times.

Now don't get me wrong.sharing your Bitcoin spendings isn't much of a bad idea however we are in a global celebration period and we should definitely expect more post of such nature to fill the discussion board. So to make things more organized and less clumsy I suggest members make posts and discussions on how they made certain Bitcoin spendings they wish to share here in this thread.
I use bitcoins for various things and never keep track of how much I spend in total.  I am new to this forum but have been involved with Bitcoin for almost 6 years and have seen a lot of changes in the price of Bitcoin since then and a lot of history. I prefer to hold bitcoins as long as it is a potential profit.  And I spend bitcoins in various activities like cashing out for daily work, gambling, investing etc. So it is not possible to give an accurate calculation of how many bitcoins I have spent.  And I don't think it's safe to say that because one's financial status, day-to-day expenses should always be kept secret.

Spent bitcoin directly: Never bought anything but some cheap stuff on that website back in the day where you can spend bitcoin for stuff on Amazon. That, and servers and proxies.

Indirectly: A lot of stuff. From reasonable stuff to materialistic stuff like nice sneakers and clothing.
I what happened to that process to use bitcoin to buy stuff from Amazon, really liked that because I wanted to buy something cheap in Amazon without too much worry about shipping cost, if I recall they've got a small shipping fee compared to when you directly buy from Amazon with fiat. I've done a lot of indirect bitcoin purchases more than direct stuff, maybe because Nike and Under Armour don't accept bitcoin for their products or the fact that bitcoin's not that popular in my country.

This thread could have been a good one to reduce the amount of created topic towards what someone did with their holdings and all of that, but I think it won't help at all, just as most members are also aware of the . Announce your rank, merit, or any achievements that make you feel great! , which was created for the same purpose of seeing similar threads everywhere on the reputation board.
Alternatively, stories like Bitcoin spendings can be shared in my topic too.

Announce your story with Bitcoin, first purchase, sale, business, education ....

I see three topics recently.

Finally I did it (I am happy to join).
I bought some ornaments for my mother with investment and signature money.

Someone can say that he/she have purchased some nice cars using Bitcoin as profit of holding and some will say a decent house that they can live forever.

With this, anyone can freely say what they want to say or wish to buy with their Bitcoins. But I don't think that many will cooperate and tell the things that they've purchased using Bitcoin or with their Bitcoin profits.

Anyway, I think that many have the same genuine spending with the use of Bitcoin or profits from it through gadgets. Especially this season, probably have gifted themselves as well with some new laptops, macs, iphones, smartphones or computers.

I was contemplating on this too, but thank goodness it isn’t just me. I also think that your Bitcoin spending should be private (or maybe I just love privacy?). Even if we are all anonymous on this platform, people (not just me) have a sense of privacy that they don’t want to attach anything like a worth-tag to their name. It isn’t bad if anyone wants to share it (as long as they do it anonymously). Everyone is different after all and my opinion may differ from that of others.

I spend my Bitcoin holdings whenever necessary, both in real life and online. Currently, I am building my dream house through my bitcoin and cryptocurrency earnings. So to cover expenses for my housework, I have to sell my bitcoin. It doesn't matter what the price is when I am selling, but I need to cover the cost. I don't feel bad even if the price of Bitcoin rises after I sell it. I believe in Bitcoin for life, not for a lifetime. We are earning money to live a good life, so I have to spend it when necessary.

I love your ideology of money and how to spend it. When you suffer and have money, you should be able to use the money you suffered for to solve problems. I have read some stories even here in BTT where a very close relative of someone is critically down in the hospital and then he returned to the forum to ask if it is right to sell his bitcoin to pay for hospital bills.

You spend your bitcoin to build your dream house, you have nothing to regret in the future even if bitcoin gets to $100. There are people who check their old wallets and gets disappointed how much bitcoin they spent in the past, they call it waste. They forgot that as at the time they sold the bitcoin it solved their problems then.

Actually, this is a nice idea to share your experience with others on how you spent your bitcoins, but it is also a chance for others to spam, because many will bring different stories, some of which might be true, and from hearing some, you will know that there are friction stories, and when other newbies or members see them, they will think or even believe the story, for instance. I said that for the past year that I have been in bitcoin investment, I have achieved a lot to the extent that I have already bought a house, a luxurious car, and I got married. With the profit I got from my bitcoin investment, we know it can be possible, but it is just a friction story because it hasn’t happened to me yet. Since I see other people writing some nice stories, I might create mine. This is just an example I gave, not my story on how I spent my bitcoin. I will use this medium to encourage you to stop such low-quality posts for just the purpose of fun or discussion. It might discourage others.

I don’t think that’s necessary given that most of those topics are created by newcomers; they just create some story in order to get merit; they don’t really create those topics for real, or really, that is what happens, man. However, those people are creating topics without looking for any other ones that are similar to their own and dropping their own opinions in the existing thread, but rather they create new ones, which is bad, though I don’t think this type of thread will suit that type of discussion since those types of threads are not coming every day and we are having other meaningful topics by other members every day. Your topic will start going down the thread and probably will not even be on this page again.

Always have been spending some of my holdings not because of the festive season but I do spend them on when needed so it doesn't show any difference whether we are in festive season or not, the key important aspect of it is that do not spend all your holdings maybe as an investor or trader there are some certain amount that should be carved out for spending and holding, whenever that method is applied then you wouldn't over spend you holdings.

As trader or investor there is always a need for cushion and or a reserved fund maybe even spare cash to serve you for awhile even at this point of festive season we don't have to alter much of our holdings if we still have the reserved funds because i see no reason for selling our accumulated bitcoin so cheap at expense of festive season some people got them through DCA.

That's what I'm thinking too, if I recall, there's a public ledger that's recording my purchases so I don't think I'm going to flaunt what I'm spending when that can make someone pinpoint me in that ledger and with the degree of privacy I've already given up being on that public ledger, I think that I deserve to keep that inability for someone to pinpoint me exactly and who I'm dealing with. Only problem with all of this is that I haven't had a lot of transactions lately so it's hard for me to still share.

I agree with you and I also believe that it's not a good thing to share your Bitcoin spending with anyone as that's something which is against your own privacy. If you have spent some Bitcoin to purchase physical goods or you have used it to purchase digital goods or maybe something else then you should never share that with anyone else.

It not good to share your Bitcoin spending and it's better to have those as the most secret thing you do. I have spent Bitcoin on many good things but I won't share those with anyone. I have bought the things with Bitcoin that I found useful and that's something I would like to keep secret.

I must say that I have never used Bitcoin to purchase anything illegal and I will never use it to purchase something illegal but still I don't think it's good to disclose your Bitcoin spending on a public forum like this. And, I suggest everyone to be careful when sharing your Bitcoin spending with others.

Except that it actually is much of a bad idea.

Bitcoin is pseudoanonymous for a reason, while the public can access the blockchain which contains a record of every already complete transaction, they cannot fix a personality to the different transactions to know who is spending what. To further blur that trail users can utilize coinjoining and mixing options. It is counter productive to publicly discuss what you are spending on with Bitcoin.

You did so well to bring up this discussion, but if I may ask, after discussing how, when, on what and why we spend our Bitcoins, will it bring back the Bitcoins we already spent?

However, there is no need to talk about this because I really believe that it's a personal something and not public.

Sharing with us your Bitcoin journey will be more okay than discussing how we spend our coins because there are no benefits in that. The reasons why I agree with sharing your first Bitcoin experience is because, as a new Bitcoiner, you will need some advice. So, when you share your first Bitcoin experience, others who have been inside the Bitcoin world will give some good advice that might help you grow and accumulate more of your coins without getting scammed by scammers or losing your coins in some fucked exchanges wallets.
