I've seen people with bitcoin investments that theyre holding onto long-term, but then some little thing happens and they crack and withdraw what they've saved up.  To me, that's not good - investment is investment and should be treated as such and  don't chip away at what youve set aside just 'cause life throws you a curveball.  I know things happen sometimes that make you desperate for cash but cashing out too early can cost you down the line.  It's a balancing act for sure.  But the whole point is to leave it alone and let it grow over time.  Easier said than done when money's tight, I realize.  Still, folks oughta try having some discipline and stick to the long view.  Just my two satoshis.

Is Bitcoin spending not supposed to be a secret? If you ask me, that is supposed to be confidential information as it can pose threat to some people base on their locality. This is a public space and you don't know who is reading your post, so your spending should be secret and confidential.

Merry Christmas Bitcoin talk.
Overtime, the bitcoin discussion section has been flooded with multiple posts on how  users have spent certain amounts of their Bitcoin hodlings on different things. And yes if you are an active contributor of the bitcoin discussion section you must have come across posts of such nature multiple times.

Now don't get me wrong.sharing your Bitcoin spendings isn't much of a bad idea however we are in a global celebration period and we should definitely expect more post of such nature to fill the discussion board. So to make things more organized and less clumsy I suggest members make posts and discussions on how they made certain Bitcoin spendings they wish to share here in this thread.

Merry Christmas guys 🎇

I have been investing in bitcoins for a long time and I even had thousands of dollars worth of bitcoins invested but I spent a lot of it. First of all I spent all the wedding expenses and friends party celebration during my wedding. Secondly I spent my invested bitcoins to help my family business and fulfill my dreams.

Many people doesn't disclose too well how they spend their bitcoin but the thing is that we have to be conscious of our expenses in cryptocurrency, because I notice that during bitcoin investment many people doesn't like to keep their bitcoin they are hodling and anything can trigger them to make a withdrawal with what they have already saving, so I think that is not good to be inquisitive of spending what we already put on investment because of little problems we have, investment is an investment and it should be strictly called investment.

That's simply not gonna work as new members (who are usually creating those kind of merit fishing topics) don't usually check already existing threads before creating new ones. Another factor is that youre thread will eventually drop from page 1, meaning people will most likley not find it.

My advice to you is not to waste your time and just lock it.

This thread could have been a good one to reduce the amount of created topic towards what someone did with their holdings and all of that, but I think it won't help at all, just as most members are also aware of the . Announce your rank, merit, or any achievements that make you feel great! , which was created for the same purpose of seeing similar threads everywhere on the reputation board.

There are only two reasons that will make people continue to create their own topic to celebrate what they have done with their holdings: either to get notice and not for their thread to fall under a page of 10+ and more, or for them to get merit for such spending, and all of those posts are either from merit fishers or those who are just too excited about what they achieved with their bitcoin knowledge.
