Money and satisfaction I guess because people want to earn money for their satisfaction to have it, some players do the gambling as part of their daily needs which is satisfied themselves for me playing well in my perspective there's some point still at the end it is good to have control within the game itself because once you got addicted too much it's hard to resist. See only gambling as a part of the leisure time and not a full time to make sure still can manage.

Yeah, absolutely.

At the end of the day winning at gambling causes a dopamine rush, and can create an addiction very easily. It's the same as anything else. People do things because it feels good to do them.

Plus with gambling there is the extra incentive of some possible treasure to be found if only the gambler is lucky... and most casinos are designed to hook you up with that, using every single design tweak they can possibly use.

Money will always be the main reason why people gamble. Gambling business won't thrive if it was never involved to it. People are easily tempted to gamble because it is easier and more enjoyable to earn money from it rather than doing a stressful job.

For gamblers that says they do it only for fun, I'm pretty sure there are other things they like to do that can give them the same satisfaction, it's just the possibilities of giving them some return that they prefer gambling.

first of all what you say is absolutely correct, gambling is a high risk entertainment that involves money in it. however, if one chooses the option of gambling to earn instant money rather than a stressful job, it will have fatal consequences on one's life.

Nowadays gambling has become a metropolis culture, regarding this I think it is wiser to just think of gambling as a fun pastime even though it is high risk, with a moderate amount of money one would not be too risky of addiction.

Why do people play in casinos? For the sake of adrenaline? Self-satisfaction?

For the sake of winning! It is the generous winnings that encourage players to bet in the casino and take risks over and over again in the hope of catching luck by the tail.

A gambler always plays in a casino probably because of the following:

1. First he just wanted to have fun so he wouldn't be bored.

2. Maybe it's a habit that his body and mind are longing for where he doesn't care about losing.

3. This is his vice, where it doesn't matter if he borrows money, he can just gamble or when he has money, he always thinks that he will win,
there is no room in his mind that he will lose.

4. Maybe this is the only way he knows how to make money quickly even though he also knows that he will lose his money quickly because of
losing if he is unlucky. In short, rely on luck.

I then remembered my close friend who is also here in the cryptocurrency industry, who also likes to gamble in crypto gambling, he always wins every week around 200$-700$ he tells me and I know that even though there is no luck in gambling, I am encouraged to gamble again even though I know I'm always unlucky playing crypto gambling.

I gamble just for self satisfaction, whenever I want to relax then I always gamble, I gamble with just little amount so I don't really care about winning or losing, I just do to just to relax myself and have fun. Am not really the type that gamble always, I gamble just once in a while, mostly I do gamble whenever am stressed and I want to relax my brain, since am not after the win or lose so I don't have to stress my head again to think about anything, I just do whatever that comes to my mind.
Winning is something that you cant really see often in gambling because if you do play for long time then it would really be just meaning out that you would definitely lose in the long run.
Play gambling for fun yet this had been the main purpose on why people gamble or shall we say we do seek for leisure but turns out that people do end up on being that greedy
and would really be chasing for winning and make profits and even thinking or believing that they would make themselves rich in no time which is
really a very wrong mindset to have.

Brotherhood is love
I have seen people show off their big wins and most times people open thread to accuse some casinos for not being able to pay out their winnings upto $120,000 and above and I wonder how lucky they are and I also imagined the amount they put in for gambling if it's actually what I could do.

I do not gamble because I want to make living from it, I doesn't pay me. Gambling has never paid me huge, so I gamble just for fun or entertainment, especially on football matches. I have special feelings when the match begins.

Let's say that if we want to bring up topics to discuss, it is not necessary to be so obvious in the promotion of the casino, a rule of etiquette would be not to place the link, even more so if you have it in the avatar or the signature.

on the other hand:

Why do people gamble?
Because it's like having a coffee, going to the movies, mere entertainment.
Because they want to try their luck.
Because it is a way of life.
Because they are there.
... etc.

I don't have any particular success stories, but we can assume that most gamblers gamble because they have dollar signs in their eyes. Win money from your chair at home on the computer, without working hard, who wouldn't want that? Unfortunately, things often go differently with major financial problems afterwards. However, there are a number of people who have become rich from gambling. But the trick is to stop in time too. Continuing to gamble is of course an addiction, but it will ultimately be your downfall.
It all depends if we want to share our success story or not but since there is a related thread to this one then I don't think many persons will take it seriously. I ha e had many good bets in the past and I don't think I am ready to share them here.

Well I think the aim of sharing our bets should be to encourage others that might be having a bad time or big loses in there gambling. Most gamblers may choose to share their success story which could be amazing so what about the majority loses they might have had? No one cares about that!

I often read stories that people gamble for fun or for the thrill. Or another reason is pastime. However, I think the main reason is that people think and expect to get rich quick. And if you start gambling with that approach, it is only a matter of time before things go wrong. There will also be gamblers who gamble for fun, but they will go to a real casino and not gamble online. There are also success stories of gamblers who win a lot of money, but the negative stories of people who have lost millions are not easily read anywhere.

Winning is first, entertainment is second, adrenaline is third.
You don't play a game without thinking of winning the game, also you don't play a game you don't love at all which make you enjoy playing the game. Addiction comes in after too much fun on the game.
Can I share my loosing story? I have lost my bill money - my rent money and my monthly expense additionally I took an extra loan and placed myself in so much trouble. I have been robbed and I am is so much stress.

Well, you can create an appropriate thread where you can share your experience and invite others to tell their equally sad stories of losses, so if you are interested, of course, because there are actually not so many winners.

God, save BTC!
I don't play online casinos like slots or card games, I bet on football, and sometimes I'm good at it... I don't consider it as extra income, but it gives me pleasure... Several times I have won multi bets with odds of 15-20x... In those moments I was delighted... But usually after big winnings a succession of failures begins and it is better to give up gambling for a while...

Gambling can definitely be a source of income. Although just like what you said, it possesses big risk because of its nature. As we all know, everyday is not a good day in gambling. There will be bad days where gamblers have their fair shares of losses and there will be days where they will experience great wins too. The outcome will all depends on your strategy in playing and at the same time, luck.

Someone can make this a stream source of income if that person has self-discipline and self-control. Because gambling could be addicting. If a person is having a hard time restraining himself from doing something excessive, then gambling as an extra source of income is not for them. Instead of gaining and profiting, someone might end up losing and go bankrupt instead if that person don't know when to draw a boundary.
I am not a lucky gambler - never even I won any bet.
In school days I used to win some lucky draws but I don't know where did my luck go when I grew up.
Gambling is a pure luck game and nothing more nothing less.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. Nevertheless, we believe that luck will smile on everyone sooner or later, you just need to be in the right place at the right time! Do not despair and give up your favorite activity because of this. For example, right now we have an incredible Jackpot, which has already reached an amazing amount of €1,162,201! Don't miss the chance and try your luck  Wink

Be nice!
There is already a thread on the forum where players share their winnings https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/slots-101-basics-strategies-and-discussion-with-poll-5249415 here we also see foggystar reports, but this can only be considered as a promotion to attract the interest of players.
Multiple threads has been made with the same topic of "Sharing your Winnings" on this board. However for this one, it is mainly for promotion purposes such as what other platform did as well but some offer rewards for their experience and stories.

Upon checking on the link you've included, It looks like that is not the same from what the OP posted as that is mostly about discussion and strategies on Slots.

Of course, gambling can be a major source of income and even a job for many people. However, this work is always associated with a huge risk. You are absolutely right that the main thing is to stop in time and not turn the love of gambling into your addiction. You should always remember the reasonable limits of your capabilities. You need to take risks wisely, thinking about the consequences.

I very much agree with this.
